Cropping and Post-Document Size

Hi,
I need to crop my images at 500x500 pixels for a project. I do a Save For Web & Devices and use JPEG, optimize at 80%. When I open up the new JPEG file, the pixel size says 500x500, but the document size says 6.944x6.944 inches at 72 resoultion, instead of 5x5 inches at 100 resolution. I've been doing the same process for months and it was correct in pixel and document size until recently, but I haven't changed any settings or my process. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Thanks, that all makes sense. I'm just curious though, why would Photoshop display the document size differently, one as 5"x5" at 100ppi (files I did months ago) and then recently it seems to have just decided that it wanted to display the document size at the 6.944"x6.944" at 72ppi? We've always done a "Save for Web" and not "Save As." Other than that, thank you for your responses, I understand.

Is there any way to identify parked and posted documents in GL Line Item Report S_ALR_87012282? If i tick the parked documents in the further selection tab in the selection parameter, report will list all documents (parked and posted).
There is no available field in the layout. Is there any other way?

use tcode: FBV3 - Display
OR
you can go to SE16 and enter table name VBKPF -Document Header for Document Parking
BSTAT = V
V = parked document
and ececute u will get the details of parked document.

Problems with copy and paste document size

Using Adobe illustrator I have been copying images from a .pdf and then pasting in photoshop having made an action script which does : -
>Make New document
preset clipboard
>Paste
with aa
as: smart object
center: center
Translate 0, cm , 0cm
>Save
As JPEG
Quality 12
Matte: none
In E:/my documents....
with copy
most of the time it works but occasionaly pasting into photoshop the clipboard size is wrong it makes it much much smaller,
even if i bypass using the script and copy from illustrator and in PS try Ctrl N and Ctrl V.
Sometimes also clipboard isnt even selectable it wants to use a specific document size.
The only way I can fix it is close down Ai and PS, launch Ai and PS, copy in Ai then in PS press Ctrl N for New, choosing clipboard, Ctrl V to paste enter to confirm, then it seems happy and I can then carry on using my Actions or manually pasting to my hearts content.
My question is what is causing it to have this quirk, how can I avoid it if possible or is there no avoiding it?

flawed. And,

CSS before going further. You seem to be headed for disaster

Web pages are in an entirely different world than Word docs.

Changes between park document and post document

Depending upon the business practice at the time of posting the approver changes the figure once the document is posted.How to know what are the changes have been made between the parking and posting.How to know it?

It better to use save as completed - reason being when SAVE AS COMPLETED the entire document is checked for parking i.e, simulted before parking.
Eg,
If cost center us not assigned, then when SAVE AS COMPLETED the an error msg will pop up.
if you want user to use only SAVE AS COMPLETED then in FB00 you can set the indicator for each individual.

Could anybody please suggest me how is the Parking and Posting Take place in SAP.
And do some Transactions like F-21 had to be given with FB01/FB02?
If FB01 is given what are the restrictions?
Are there any specific SOD's involved..

Parking is a temporary hold of data for the FI doc. You don't need to have all the required data to park. Parking does not impact the financials for a company.
Posting does impact the financials.
F-21 is a parameter tcode for FB01 - so you don't need to have FB01 to use F-21.
SODs ? Depends on what your SOD matrix is.

Simple crop and the file size triples

Good day,
I'm trying to figure out why a video encoded using AME comes out with a much bigger file size than the original. Even if all I'm doing is using it to trim the source file. No change in settings, bit rate, dimensions etc.
In the current example I'm taking a webex recordings and trimming out some dead space in the beginning. I've lowered every setting (video and audio) I can to it's lowest potential and the resulting file looks worse than the original and is triple the file size. Both the source and the result are .mp4.
Please assist. The is making the files go from email-able to not. Making a video shorter shouldn't make it larger....

When encoding to virtually ANY format, you will be able to set the BITRATE. This determines how big or small an output file is. Apparently, the file you are creating is running about 3x the bitrate of the source file. You can adjust the bitrate under the VIDEO tab in AME.
Not knowing the specs of the source, I can't suggest how to export. Perhaps if you post a screen shot of your export panel in AME, that will help. Note that if you choose "HD 1080p" H.264 preset that will be much larger than say "YouTube 1080p", there are many options.

BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA Posting document number

I am using BAPI : BAPI_COPAACTUALS_POSTCOSTDATA for posting documents of type 10, B0 , 12,B2(01,02,03,04 – Paledger no’s).
My requirement is to post records with same document number for all the 4 currency types in ce10100 table as in screen shot no :
I tried below way
For Paledger number 01 , Belnr is blank and posting document by calling BAPI ,now I am using this posted document number from ce10100 table for rest of the 3 types of documents since my requirement is that I need the same document number for all the 4 types of documents
When I am using this method to post using test run from se37 I am able to post in required way .In my Z Program when i post one document each time by changing currency type(as 10, B0 , 12,B2 )and exit from Program I am able to achieve this functionality but if I am using same method for multiple records from Internal table it s not working ,it is generating new document number each time when posted as below screen shot
. I am using Transaction Commit also both when testing in Se37 as test run and also in Z Program.
Please help me in this issue.

There is in fact a workaround to this issue. I see this question asked in lots of places so I figured I would post here:

FI-CAX event 1102 when posting documents using BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE

The event 1102 in FI-CAX has been implemented to copy "Alternative business partner for payments" to the document, when posting a document using transaction FPE1.
Will this event aslo be executed when posting documents automatically via the BAPI BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE?
If not, is there any other possibility to copy "Alternative business partner for payments" to the document, when posting a document automatically via the BAPI BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE?

Do you know if event 1102 is supposed to be called when running FP60M/FP60P (mass activity: revenue distribution/Revenue distribution: Create and post documents)?

Controller role Park and Post

Hi Experts
Here's what I got.
I need roles for my customer to park and post documents. This is what he is asking for:
Controller Role: No park, only post
Cost Acct Role: Park and Post, but no posting their own parked docs
Acct Clerk Role: Can only Park
I asked that he send me the transaction codes they will be using for this. Also, I thought I would use tcode SU24 and identify which authorization objects need to be interrogated. Anyone have a better solution?
I was able to get the tcodes the customer wants to use:
FB50 would be post only.
FV50 would be park only.

What value does CROP have in editor if you cannot define output document size and document resolution

Cannot define document size in EDITOR or output resolution. Document can only be defined as RATIO and output is fixed at 300. This problem does not allow you to edit in EDITOR then crop to a specific size so you don't know what the x,y dimension will be once opened in elements. My images are 36x54 at 72 which are 3:4 and can be resized to 4x6 8x12 and so on. Once document is in elements you cannot resize.....either for print or screen to these values without doing another crop or maybe I want something larger than the given crop.

I don't comprehend this at all.
On the crop tool's option bar, there should be a drop-down where one can get away from the default crop preset options to "Custom." The replacement values can be entered in inches, and the resolution can be changed to suit as well. Just highlight what you see, and type in new value for px/in.

Multiple Forms in a Flash Document and Posting Using ASP

Hello everyone!
I have some what of a dilemma on my hands. I am creating
multiple forms in one document using Flash and need them to post
using ASP script. I have been researching this for the last six
days, and I have had NO luck. I have noticed that all the
information that I have found is for one form, not more than one.
What I have so far is the Flash document, with 4 forms. The
basic idea is that a user chooses from a drop down menu (the
combobox) a location, and depending on the location chosen, it
takes the user to another frame in the flash document. The forms
(all their own movie clip) contains a name field, a department
field, and either a manager name a userID field or an employee
number as well as the basic buttons for submitting the form or
resetting the form.
So far what I have working is the drop down menu (combobox)
taking me to the proper frame and it shows the appropriate form.
The reset button clearing the form (deleting any information that I
have imputed into the input fields), but I have absolutely NO idea
how to get the submit button to work (I did manage to get it to
send me a message if there was nothing in one of the input fields),
and NO idea how to get the information to the ASP file.
Where there are 4 forms do each of them have to have their
own ASP file attached to them, or can I use one?
If anyone knows a site that deals with multiple forms in one
SWF and posts using ASP that would be greatly appreciated, or if
you know some actionscript that could be helpful.

So far my reset button clears everything, and the submit
button is tracing the content in the form fields, but it's not even
grabbing the asp page.
Any suggestions? Even pages that have tutorials that are in
the form of a video.

Error in documents parking and posting

Hello,
After I parked the document of vendor payment using F-65 , While I validate and post the documents using FBV0 I met a error as following:
" Formatting error in the field BSEG-PRCTR; see next message
Message no. 00298
Diagnosis
During batch input or when executing CALL TRANSACTION... USING a screen field was filled with an invalid input format.
System Response
Processing was terminated.
Procedure
The screen field has the technical name BSEG-PRCTR . The cause of the error is described in the following message.
Correct the appropriate BDC data."
How can i add the field profit center in F-65 of in FBV0 while posting the parked document ?

at first please check field status transaction with OB14, OB41.
Please also check in transaction OBC4 for the relevant field status variant and the relevant field status group in "Additional account assignments" that "Profit center is not set as required.
do you have an asset line inside the document ?
When a classicaly parked document or a document parked by the complex posting via ENJOY is posted, a CALL TRANSACTION USING is run through. It can be compared with a batch-input session in the background.
If a document is parked with an asset line, it might be that in the asset line account assignments were derived by parking the document, although they are not open for entry. For making sure, that the CALL TRANSACTION USING is not failing for such lines, the settings of the asset accounting have to be disregarded and the fields have to be opend.
Then only the fieldstatus of posting key and G/L account are regarded. Since the fieldstatus of PRCTR is defined as required, the posting fails. If it was optional, everything would have worked properly.
