Cross-company + third party SD-order item result analysis

Hello,
please, advice.
SD-Process - third party cross-company
1.Sales organisation belongs to company code A.
2.Plant belongs to company code B.
3.Third party - so there is no delivery, intercompany billing is executed on the header level (IVA invoice type).
After the SD-order position is created, a purchase order is created too automatically. There is still no invoice receipt, intercompany billing, or external invoice. But the status Final Billed (FNBL) is determined for the position within the SAPKKA12 right after the position is created (not only within SAPKKA12, but also within result analysis KKA3 too).
Could you please test the same within your system and provide some clarification?
Thanks a lot
Regards

  • Cross Company Third Party Sales related problem

    Dear All,
I have the following Third Party Intercompany Sales Scenario -
    Company Code : A100 -> Plant : T001
                               B100 -> Plant : P001
    Customer : 1001 under Company Code B100
    Business Case -
Customercode 1001 of Company Code B100 will place a sales order to Delivering plant P001. Upon saving the sales order a purchase requisition will be generated & subsequently converted to a PO for Delivering Plant P001 from vendor T001 under company code A100.
Vendor T001 will deliver the goods to the customer 1001 with respect to PO & raise an inter-company invoice to plant P001 under Company Code B100.
After that plant P001 will do MIRO & raise the final commercial invoice  to the customer code 1001 with respect to the sales order punched at the beginning.
Please suggest what are the steps along with configurations needed to achieve my requirement.

  • UNBW Material in a third-party Sales Order (error: account determination)

    Hy @ll,
we receive the following error message when entering a non valuated material (MTART UNBW) in a third-party sales order item.
System is asking for the calculated budget and after the manual entry of the budget the following error message appears.
(the schedule line customizing populates the account assignment category X for the PR)
"Not possible to determine a consumption account".
any ideas? my assumption is that account determination OBYC can not be error source, because it´s a non-valuated material...
    many thanks,.

  • Cost value for third party sales order scenario

Greetings, I have a cost question involving the Third Party Sales Order (Item category TAS).
At billing (VF01), the cost being picked up by the system are the value from the PO (PBXX condition type). I would like the system to pick up the entire  COGS value (inclusive of freight values) posted at MIGO.
Ex. If Purchase price is 100 and freight is 20, I want 120 (the COGS value) to be shown in the cost field. It currently shows 100.
    The steps I follow are
    1) Create OR sales order (item category TAS)
    2) Create PO referencing PR
    3) Goods Receipt  D 120 COGS/ C 100 GRIR /C 20 freight
    4) Outbound Delivery (Confirmation only)
    5) Billing (Costs showing 100?!)
Again, only the PBXX condition type value (From MM Calculation Schema) is being picked up.
How can I get the system to pick up the freight value as well?
    Regards
    Ken

    Hi,
If you bring the Freight condition after PBXX and include in the net value, your problem will be solved.  so it will be 120 in MIGO, MIRO, Dellivery and VPRS in billing.
We have the same situation and its working fine for us.
    Thanks
    Krishna.

  • Capture cost of procured materials in a third party sales order scenario

    Dear Experts,
I'm developing a third party sales order solution to my company following the recommended third party scenario by SAP.
Everything is working fine from creation of sales order, automatic creation of purchase requisition, create purchase order using the purchase requisition ect...
The problem I have is the in the Sales order, the cost of the material is not getting captured correctly. The condition maintained in the sales order is VPRS and it is deriving the material cost from the material master record. Ideally it should be deriving the material cost from the invoiced value or else from the purchase order(which is the actual amount we are spending to buy the items). Deriving the cost from material master depicts an incorrect profit in the sales order.
Can someone please advice me how to derive the cost(to be shown in the sales order under VPRS condition)from the invoice or the purchase requisition and Not from the material master.
I'll be grateful if you can describe in a step by step proceedure.
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Lakshmipathi
    Thanks alot for your response.
As u mentioned, at the point of sales order creation the price does gets picked up from the Material Master.
But during Billing, it does NOT get updated to reflect the purchase order price. If that happens, then its perfect.
I did a complete testing cycle and the material master price remains unchanged throught the process upto billing.
Is there any special parameter that I should maintain in VPRS condition for this to happen?
Anyway thanks again for ur reply, appreciate it alot. Let me know your views on this.
As u advise I'll post it on the sales forum as well.
    Regards,
    Randika

  • Third party sales order report

    Hi
I got to prepare a report and the description is as follows:
"Report for discount pricing conditions manually entered in third party sales orders."
"Discount price reporting for manual pricing conditions in sales order processing (not in billing)"
"The report should reflect manual pricing discounts captured in the third party sales order. The relevant (third party) document types will be confirmed.Currently we have the following pricing condition type used for manual discount: YRD2- Manual Distr. Discount % YRD3- Manual Distr. Discount fixedThis report will facilitate the monitoring on the discounts given to the distributors. We still need to confirm the complete list of discount pricing conditions for the report. The report should extract the manual discount information based on the following criteria:Sales organization, period, sales order, customer (wholesaler and/or third party) and pricing condition type.Summing per sales order, customer, period should be enabled. The discounts should be displayed in document (sales order) currency. "
I didnt understand the following to get the purpose of this report:
    1. what is this third party sales order ?
    2. What is manual pricing condition?
    3. what is manual pricing condition? how many types of conditions are there like this?
    4. What is the actual analysis that can be made from the output of this report?
Please explain them in detail. Thank you.

    THIRD PARTY SCENARIO
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you. A sales order may consist partly or wholly of third-party items. Occasionally, you may need to let a vendor deliver items you would normally deliver yourself.
    Process Flow
The processing of third-party orders is controlled via material types. Material types define whether a material is produced only internally, can be ordered only from third-party vendors, or whether both are possible. For example, a material that is defined as a trading good can only be ordered from a third-party vendor. However, if you manufacture your own finished products, you may also want, from time to time, to be able to order the same type of product from other vendors.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Sales
Third-party items can be created automatically by the system, depending on how your system is set. However, you can also change a standard item to a third-party item during sales processing manually.
    Automatic third-party order processing
If a material is always delivered from one or more third-party vendors, you can specify in the material master that the material is a third-party item. During subsequent sales order processing, the system automatically determines the appropriate item category for a third-party item: TAS. To specify a material as a third-party item, enter BANS in the Item category group field in the Sales 2 screen of the material master record.
    Manual third-party order processing
In the case of a material that you normally deliver yourself but occasionally need to order from a third-party vendor, you can overwrite the item category during sales order processing. For a material that you normally deliver yourself, you specify the item category group NORM in the material master.
If, as an exception, you use a third-party material, change the entry TAN to TAS in the ItCa field when processing the sales document. The item is then processed as third-party item.
If address data for the ship-to party is changed in the sales order in third-party business transactions, the changed data will automatically be passed on to purchase requisition and also to the purchase order ,if one already exists. In the purchase order, you can display the address data for the ship-to party in the attributes for the item.
You can only change the address data for the ship-to party in the sales order for third-party business transactions, and not in the purchase order.
    Processing Third-Party Orders in Purchasing
When you save a sales order that contains one or more third-party items, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition in Purchasing. Each third-party item in a sales order automatically generates a corresponding purchase requisition item. During creation of the requisition, the system automatically determines a vendor for each requisition item. If a sales order item has more than one schedule line, the system creates a purchase requisition item for each schedule line.
Purchase orders are created from purchase requisitions in the usual way. For more information about creating purchase orders, see the Purchasing documentation. During creation of the purchase order, the system automatically copies the delivery address of your customer from the corresponding sales order. In a sales order, you can enter purchase order texts for each third-party item. When you create the corresponding purchase order, the texts are automatically copied into the purchase order. The number of the purchase order appears in the document flow information of the sales order.
All changes made in the purchase order are automatically made in the sales order as well. For example, if the vendor confirms quantities and delivery dates different from those you request and enters them in the purchase order, the revised data is automatically copied into the sales order
You process third-party items by creating a normal sales order. In overview for the order, you can then overwrite the default item category (TAN in the standard system) with the special item category for third-party items: TAS
    Billing Third-Party Orders
If relevance for billing indicator for the item category has been set to B (relevant for order-related billing on the basis of the order quantity) in Customizing, the system includes the order in the billing due list immediately. If, however, the indicator has been set to F (relevant to order-related billing on the basis of the invoice quantity), the system does not include the order in the billing due list until an invoice from the vendor has been received and processed by the purchasing department. In the standard system, item category TAS (third-party order processing) has been given billing-relevance indicator F.
In the first case, the third-party order is considered to be completely billed only when the invoiced quantity equals the order quantity of the sales order item. In the second case, each time a vendor invoice is received, a customer invoice is created for the quantity in the vendor invoice and the order is considered to be fully invoiced until the next vendor invoice is received.
If you have activated billing-relevance indicator F for item categories in Customizing, billing can refer to the goods receipt quantity instead of the incoming invoice quantity.
You can control whether the invoice receipt quantity or the quantity of goods received is relevant for billing in Customizing for copying control for billing at item level.
FOR YOUR PROCESS Individual Purchase Orders WELL GIVE THE RIGHT SOLUTION
Individual purchase orders are used when your customer orders goods from you that are not in stock and must be ordered from one or more external vendors.
    Process Flow
During sales order entry, the system automatically creates a purchase requisition item. The purchasing department creates a purchase order based on the requisition and the vendor ships the goods directly to you (unlike third party order processing, where the vendor ships directly to your customer). You then ship the goods to your customer. While the goods are part of your inventory, you manage them as part of the sales order stock. Sales order stock consists of stock that is assigned to specific sales orders and cannot be used for other purposes.
Goods receipt will be posted when ever the vendor ships the goods to our customer.
We will do this transaction in SAP using MIGO.
Invoice receipt is done when the Vendor sends us the invoice.. ( I.e Billing ).
It can be done using MIRO.
THe above two steps are standard and manual. There are many other ways that the actual process can happen. If the client follows EDI standards then the Goods receipt and Invoice receipt can be done through IDOCs automatically.

  • Third Party Sales Order in COPA - adjusted cost

We have a third party sales order which creates the Preq and then the pruchase order. We have statistical conditions on the purchase order. We have switched the billing relavency on the item category TAS to a B to allow billing before the invoice recipt from the oversees vendor. Billing block is on the order until inbound delivery is updated.
A purchase order is created with statistical conditions for an accrual amount (palletization charge). When the goods receipt is performed against an inbound delivery and  the billing block is removed, a customer invoice is created and the correct value, cost plus the accrual amount, posts into the customer billing document vprs condition and posts accordingly to co-pa.
The issue is that when the invoice receipt is performed against the purchase order, the normal FI document is created against the vendor and gr/ir account. However, at this time an adjustment to the vprs is posted against the original billing document vprs condition for the statistical condition on the purchase order. This adjustment to the vprs condition then creates a copa document which reduces the cost of goods sold value field.
Any ideas on how to prevent this adjustment to the co-pa cogs value?

  • Third party slaes order

    Business Scenario
When creating a sales order, the item cat used differentiates the std delivery or delivery from vendor st to customer.
We have set the delivery block at the header level which would stop creation of any deliveries but how do we have a check on the item cat TAS, here the purchase requisition gets generated even if the delivery block is set.
This has tracking problems, as a business procedure the deliveries to customer happens only after 100% payment.
Once the payment is received the commercial team removes the delivery block but that would apply to only items with TAN.
Ideally the PR for thirdy party process has to be generated only after the removal of delivery block, is this possible?
Or any other suggestion are welcome.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Arun

  • Come here and discuss the business process of Third Party Purchase Order?

come here and discuss the business process of Third Party Purchase Order?
when this po  is used and the following process is what?

    Hi YuLin
It is a vague topic..anyways i will tell you one important scenario of the 3rd party order :Third Party Without Shipping Notification(its imp one)
In third-party order processing, your company does not deliver the items requested by a customer. Instead, you pass the order along to a third-party vendor who then ships the goods directly to the customer and bills you.
In this scenario, the vendor does not send a shipping notification. The incoming invoice from the vendor updates the billing quantity, so that the customer-billing document is only possible after entering the invoice from the vendor
    Function List
The following functions are provided to support the Third Party Without Shipping Notification (J55) building block:
When the order is created, the specification of material numbers, quantity and conditions takes place at item level. As the material is not available on stock, a purchase requisition is created directly within the sales order.
    Purchase Order Processing
The purchase requisition can already be automatically assigned during creation. If not, it is possible to assign the purchase requisition manually. The purchase order is created with reference to the purchase requisition. The quantity and the material are transferred from the sales order. The purchase order price can now also be determined using condition records.
    Vendor Invoice Verification
The vendor invoice verification must take place before customer billing. The quantity of the invoice updates the quantity to be invoiced in the sales order.
    Billing Documents
The billing documents are carried out on the basis of the order. Since the vendor might not deliver the exact quantity ordered, quantity adjustment takes place through the quantity in the vendor's invoice.
    Controlling
The revenue and costs will be posted to CO-PA via the billing document
    Key Points
As no shipping notification is available, the customer invoice can only be created after having finished vendor invoice verification.

Process Flow for 3rd Party Sales
Customize the third party sales in summary:
    Prerequisites for 3rd party sales,
    Purchasing org,
    purchasing group,
assign the Purchase org to company code
    assign Purchase org to plant,
should not maintain the stock in material, it should be trading goods,
    1. Create Vendor XK01
    2. Create Material – Material Type as "Trading Goods". Item category group as "BANS".
    3. Assign Item Category TAS to Order type that you are going to use.
    4. A sale order is created and when saved a PR is generated at the background
    5. With reference to SO a PO is created (ME21N). The company raises PO to the vendor.
    6. Vendor delivers the goods and raises bill to company. MM receives the invoice MIRO
    7. Goods receipt MIGO
    8. Goods issue
    9. The item cat TAS or Schedule line cat CS is not relevant for delivery which is evident from the config and, therefore, there is no delivery process attached in the whole process of Third party sales.
    10. Billing *--
i think it will fulfill your requirement if so plz reward point.

  • Generate PO from third party sale order

    Hi expert,
When we save a Third Party sale order, it will generate a purchase requisition to buy items for us. I wonder if there are any methods to generate Purchase Order directly (Not via PR) from sales order ?
    Thanks so much.

    Hi,
As you know - only PR will be automatically getting genreated in case of third party sale order or individual purchase order.
This is because of the schedule line category - CB and CS.
When the item category is TAB/TAS - it will determine the schdule line categor CB/CS which leads to generate PR automatically.
There is an item category 'ALES' (Create PO Automatic - check box in VOV7 - will be checked) - which will create both PR and PO.
I have not used that item category yet.. I think - though we use ALES item category - it won't create automatic PO.
Except ALES item category.. - I do not have idea on ALES item category..
(i.e., PO will never be automatically created without using the transaction.)
    Thanks,
    Venkatesh.S.P
