Cross linking PDs

Hi, Is it possible to cross link Authorization Rules, Actions, Expressions, etc, across various Policy Domains statically created through the OAM console?
Say I have 2 policy domains created through OAM console (PD1 and PD2), and an Authorization Action (Action1) for my first domain PD1, is there a way of invoking that Action ("PD1.Action1") from my policy definitions of PD2, without having to create Action1 again in PD2..?

To edit a member document inside a Portfolio you have to open it (using the Open File link on the toolbar) - when it's previewing on a card you are just looking at a JPEG image.
It's all rather messy but Adobe don't allow access to the regular tools if the Portfolio mode is active, so..
Open your Portfolio
Open the file in which the link is to be created (right-click the card or use the toolbar button)
Use the Link tool to draw the active area
Select "go to a Page View" and click OK.
While the mini-dialog is active, switch back to the window with the Portfolio in it.
Open the destination file (again with the right-click or toolbar button).
Choose the page and click to fire the Link tool's mini-dialog.
Close the target file.
Save and close the source file.
Save the Portfolio.
If you're doing hundreds of links, set aside a week.

  • Adobe Reader: PDF  to open a new browser or cross links?

    Is there a way when we click an image link within the PDF page on IE browser to open a new browser or cross link I've tried to uncheck the open cross links in same window, but it seems not working...is there another settings in the IE7 browser or in Adobe Reader8 I need to change??

    I´ve got the same problem.
    I want to open a link to a website from a PDF stored in MS Sharepoint. This PDF is opened in a browser window (IE7), and the link always open the linked URL in the same window.
    I tried to change the same options as you too, but nothing changes.
    I can't believe that there is no way to do such a simple thing.
    Could anyone tell us if exists a way to include some option in the link like the "target='_blank' in HTML?
    Thanks in advance.

  • Suggestion - Cross links in the Developer Forums

    Hi - this is a suggestion for a trivial modification to the Developer forums.
    I regularly read and contribute to the "Developer" and "Software Development 101" forums; looking at the names of the other contributors, I'm not the only one. It would be really helpful if there were a direct cross link from the Developer to the Software Development 101 forum, and another back from SD101 to the Developer forum. This would avoid having to navigate up a level and navigate downwards again.
    Alternatively, the SD101 forum could be moved back as a sub-forum of the Developer forum, as was the case when SD101 was first created.
    Thanks for considering this.

    I personally experienced this problem. We already reported this to our web admin. Thanks for letting us know.

  • How to cross link/sync cells, where you can change either

    Simple setup: I have a table with 2 columns:
    Column A shows prices in EUR, column B shows prices in USD.  How can I cross link/sync both cells, where you can change either?
    So if I would change the EUR price (cell A1), it would update the USD price (cell B1).  But it should also be possible to change the USD price (cell B1), and then the EUR price (cell A1) would update.

    Here is a simple set of formulas
    Column B = where you enter the cost in Euros or dollars.  Cells formatted as automatic. When entering dollars, precede it with a dollar sign. When entering Euros, leave off the dollar sign or use the Euro symbol.
    Column C = the conversion rate EUR/USD.  I used the entire column for this but you could refer to a single cell that has the conversion rate.
    Column D = formatted as US Dollars =IF(LEFT(B,1)="$",B,B/C)
    Column E = formatted as Euros =IF(LEFT(B,1)="$",B*C,B)

  • Cross linked files

    What is the solution(s) to preventing files from getting cross linked for projects that use same files?

    If they use the same files don't you want them to be cross-linked in the first place? Or, (more likely) do you have copies of the files for each project, and you want to make sure each project only uses the file that are within the project's folders?
    You should use projects and project libraries. From the LabVIEW Help:
    Use project libraries to qualify the names of VIs and other
    LabVIEW files. LabVIEW identifies VIs by filename, so LabVIEW unintentionally
    might load and reference a VI because the VI has the same filename as another
    VI, a problem known as cross-linking. When a VI is part of a project library,
    LabVIEW qualifies the VI name with the project library name to avoid
    cross-linking. A qualified filename includes the filename and the owning project
    library filename.

  • Universal Worklist showing cross-linked tasks

    This is a really strange problem.
    I have a Guided Procedure process that is being heavily utilized in our company.  Occasionally, tasks in a user's work list will become 'cross-linked': the description will say one thing, but opening the task will open another similar task.  And vise-versa.
    For example, say I have processes assigned to a Manager:
    - Task for Employee 'A'    (example process id 6a1234)
    - Task for Employee 'B'    (example process id 6a4567)
    When 'Task for Employee A' is opened, the task for Employee 'B' is started.  And, when 'Task for Employee B' is opened, the task for Employee 'A' is started.  Very strange!
    I've checked the underlying process data via /nwa, and the process instances are defined correctly: all data assigned to the process is correct.  But, where this really get's weird is when you look at the URL's processed when the task from the Universal Worklist is opened.
    If you look at the process ID's embedded in the URL's, they're wrong!  Using the information above, the URL for the task for Employee 'A' contains the process ID for the task for Employee 'B'.  This explains why the wrong back-end document is opened, since the GP run-time is passing the wrong context.
    The process id's defined in the actual GP tasks look correct, so this appears to be a presentation issue.
    I have not had the employee try to open the task via the GP Workbench, as this roles not assigned to users in general.
    Suggestions?
    We're on NW 7.0 sp17.

    Hi Ken,
    Yep, cheers for that.  Now, I did find some information from older messages for you, and it appears that sometimes, this works as designed based on how you have defined your roles for GP.
    Do you have a group used as a default for the requestor role?
    If you want only one user(the initiator) to be a requestor than you
    should change the Requestor role to be of type "Initiator". If this is the case
    all the users in the group are used as processors and all of them
    would have a task in then in the UWL. This is normal behaviour of the GP.

  • File not found when cross-linking projects -- solved

    I hadn't yet posted my question when I figured it out, so
    here it is for future readers...
    My projects use the "Open other project" command to bring up
    the next segment and jump to topics (16 projects for the 70 minute
    video). All the projects are named in upper case S2_FS.cp and
    published with an upper case Project Title to create S2_FS.exe.
    Never had a problem when I was making Windows executables,
    but I just created a Flash version, and was getting 404s for
    anything past the first segment. Turns out Captivate 2 doesn't
    completely honor case:
    - The Publish dialog's warning about links to other projects
    used all upper case names
    - It created upper case S2_FS.swf
    - Also created upper case S2_FS.htm, which linked to upper
    case S2_FS.swf
    - But inside the swf files, links were lower case s2_fs.htm
    Had to dig through my server's error log to find this,
    because of course testing locally on Windows still worked.

  • Cross-linking to other pdfs within portfolio

    Does anyone know how I can make a link to point to an individual pdf file within a portfolio that is separate from the pdf file that's linking to it, also in the same portfolio?
    I have a Portfolio containing 1) a folder of individual pdf files and 2) another folder containing a huge monster pdf.
    I would like to link from the monster to the individual files so that someone using it can open up one file at a time via the monster - but can't seem to do this using just the portfolio.
    On my desktop on my Mac, I have a folder that contains the monster folder, the individual files folder, and the portfolio itself.
    But creating links on the monster to the individual has to be done within the monster pdf and then uploaded to the portfolio, right?
    Making a link to go to a page view or to open a file requires me to point to the individual pdf file within the folder on my desktop and  not in the portfolio.  Unless I'm totally missing something.
    I could include the folder of individual files separately along with the portfolio, but that defeats the whole purpose of including everything into the portfolio.
    Anyone have experience doing something similar?
    I am using Acrobat Pro 9 for mac.
    Thanks in advance!

  • Cross linking javadoc references {@link}, etc. using netbeans

    I've read the javadoc manuals and FAQ, but can't figure out how to properly speficy the directories for the -link command to javadoc
    I want to use relative addresses, so other developers don't have to change their nbproject setups. When I use a hardcoded, complete file path, it works great. But the relative links fail with
    javadoc: warning - Error reading file: ../fnflib/dist/javadoc/package-list
    I've setup
    file.reference.fnflib.javadoc=../fnflib/dist/javadoc
    javadoc.additionalparam= -link ${file.reference.fnflib.javadoc}
    which seems to be passing nearly what I want. The error message doesn't clearly show what the current working directory is, so its not clear how the relative naming should go.
    Thanks

    I believe the current working directory is the directory you're at when you run javadoc.

  • CreatePDF + Word 2008 = Missing Cross-links

    Hello,
      I'm using Word 2008 (Mac).  My .doc files have a TableOfContents (TOC).  When I hover over items in the TOC in Word a hand-cursor appears.  I can then click and am taken to the destination for the link.
      When I upload the same .doc file to CreatePDF and download the converted PDF, the resulting PDF does NOT have links.
      This worked fine with the old ConvertPDF, but not the new one.  Documents I created a year ago with the old CreatePDF continue to work with correct links.
      How do I get CreatePDF to maintain hyperlinks .doc files converted to PDF?
    Thank you!

    TucsonSan,
    Thanks for highlighting this issue. We did a little testing on our side, and we're also seeing inconsistencies in how Word Table of Contents links are retained in the resulting PDF file. For example, when I logged into my Windows machine and sent a Windows Word 2010 test file (with TOC) to CreatePDF, links behaved fine. When I logged into my Mac machine and sent a Mac Word 2011 test file (with TOC) to CreatePDF, the links were lost.
    This is something we'll investigate on our side to see if it can be improved in the future.
    Thanks again for pointing this out. We love users who help us improve our software!

  • Cross reference or hyperlinking not working for InDesign CS5 Book to ePub

    I cannot get hyperlinks or cross reference links to work when generating an ePub from InDesign CS5. (7.0.0.355, Mac OS 10.6.2)
    Here's how to recreate a simple test demonstrating the issue.
    1. Create a new InDesign Book (File -> New -> Book)
    2. Create document one (File -> New -> Document)
    3. Create a text box and type "Table of Contents"
    4. Create document two (File -> New -> Document)
    5. Create a text box in it and type "Story One"
    6. Create a new paragraph style and assign it to the Story One text
    7. Save document 2. I just kept the name Untitled-2.xhtml
    8. Back in document 1, add a cross-reference and select document 2, the style you created, and then "Story One". "Story One" should now appear under the previously typed Table of Contents text, and when highlighed, should show it is an active cross reference in the Hyperlinks panel.
    9. Save document 1. I just kept the name Untitled-1.xhtml
    10. Add both documents to the Book and save the book.
    11. From the Book panel, select Export Book to EPUB...
    12. Save the epub file and open it in Adobe Digital Editions.
    Note that the text "Story One" appears as a hyperlink but when clicked does not switch to the document 2. It does nothing apparent when clicked.
    Looking at the XHTML source for the first document, it is immediately evident why. The filename for document 2.thml is missing.  It looks like this: <a href="#anchor-anchor">
    When it should be : <a href="Untitled-2.xhtml#anchor-anchor">
    The same thing works if you create a hyperlink instead of a cross reference.
    I note then when I use the option to go to the destinate reference in the Cross Link (hyperlink) panel, it does switch to the second InDesign docuemtn. So the cross reference is functioning (in InDesign). But the link is broken in the ePub for the above mentioned reason.
    Bug? Something I'm overlooking?
    Entire source of Untitled-1.xhtml:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
    <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.1//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml11/DTD/xhtml11.dtd">
    <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
    <head>
    <title>Untitled-1.xhtml</title>
    <link href="template.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" />
    </head>
    <body>
    <div id="untitled-1">
    <div class="generated-style">
    <p class="basic-paragraph" xml:lang='en-us'><span class="no-style-override">Table of Contents</span></p>
    <p class="basic-paragraph" xml:lang='en-us'><span class="no-style-override"><a href="#anchor-anchor">“story one”</a></span></p>
    </div>
    </div>
    </body>
    </html>

    As far as I can tell, it has NOT yet been fixed in CS5.5.  I'm having the same problem.  I have about 90 hyperlinks to fix.
    And the explanation that Teus Dejong gives indicates it's not going to be that helpful:  "we have found that only the links in documents split by the CS5 exporter will be fixed. For books the script does only work for references to earlier documents in the book, not for forward references. This means in practice that for most books the script will not repair the links and should be seen as a means to add the year only. At the moment I see no way to repair this, because the book epub output of InDesign does not contain sufficient information to repair links referencing forward to others documents in a book."
    It's pretty discouraging.

  • Hello, I have includes a Web link in an image. When I convert the document in PDF, the link remains inactive. Could use me? Thank you.

    Hello,
    I have includes a Web link in an image.
    When I convert the document in PDF, the link remains inactive. Could use me?
    Thank you.

    No version of Pages will allow images to be links. We always got around this by bracketting the image with text and making the link in that.
    Pages 5 has lost the ability to have cross links in pdfs and seems to have a bug that disables any links after the first page.
