Cross Product modelling question

Hello
I have two ODSs whose structure is as mentioned below.
ODS-1
A(Key)     B(Key)     C(Key)
01               01            X1
01               01            X2
ODS-2
A(Key)     B(Key)     D(Key)
01                  01        Y1
01                  01        Y2
C & D column values will be multiple in their respective ODS2 and there is no relation ship between them.
My report requirement is as shown below. X2& Y2 values are under C & D columns.
A     B     C     D
01             01            X1           Y1
                                X2           Y2
If I creaet a infoset on above two ODSs by joining fields AB. I am getting result as shown below. X1&X2 are under C and Y1,Y2 are under D column.
A     B     C     D
01             01             X1          Y1
                                               Y2
                                  X2          Y1
                                                Y2
I will be glad, if you can guide me to resolve this.

Hi Madhukar,
instead of creating infoset on the 2 ods, can we create an info cube above these 2 ods's.
we can have A, B, C, D as the char in the cube.
so we will get each record in the cube as unique combination of A,B,C & D.
so now we will get the records as:
01 01 X1 Y1
01 01 X1 Y2
01 01 X2 Y1
01 01 X2 Y2
in this case i guess you dont need the 2nd & 3rd records.
pls check whether it is ok for u....else we need to try other option.

Cross platform upgrade question between Photoshop CS5/CS6 and multiple Windows/Mac computers

I'm currently using a Windows laptop and PC running Photoshop CS5 from a Student license I got in college. I am considering moving to an Apple laptop so I was looking at the cross platform update question on the forum that led me here: Order product | Platform, language swap
It's not really clear if I will be eligible for the upgrade, and Adobe support chat sent me to the forum, and that page sends me back to where I started to see if I am eligible. I would prefer to purchase the upgrade outright, rather than pay for the new monthly subscription model.
If I am eligible for a swap/upgrade to Apple CS6, will I still be able to use CS5 on my Windows PC?

I don't have a definitive answer, but I have a feeling that a student teacher version is not eligible for an upgrade discount. You own the CS5 perpetual license, and can install it on two computers at the same time as CS6, CC etc. That will be the case in perpetuity. (not sure why I didn't just type 'forever' back there, or alert the cliche police 'Going forward')
Photoshop CS6 Extended will cost you just shy of US$1600 according to this Amazon page The non extended version does not give you the 3D tools, and Photoshop CC comes as the full extended version as standard. If you got the Photoshop / Lightroom Photography plan at a mere $10 a month, the price of CS6 would keep you subscribed for > three years. Photoshop CC has a lot of wonderful features CS6 does not have, and will never have, and CC will be be constantly updated 'in perpetuity'. ;-) $10 a month! Heck, what's not to like about that?!!!

Product Modelling Environment - Variant Configuration- modelling configura

I have a very important question for which I am trying to find answers. I ahve been researching for the last 2 days continuously
and now I kind of confused.

And I am struggling to differentiate between PME and product modelling in crm , is it the same?

NOTE
This function in the WebClient user interface (UI) replaces the Product Modeling Environment (PME) application, which had to be installed separately.
What does this mean?? does this mean that modelling configurable products is different from PME?
can Product modelling be done in crm as well as ERP?

Please find below a brief:-
A product model contains the configuration model data relevant for one product which is a server based Architecture.
-A knowledge base is a container for data and can contain many PMEs
-PME is available in Product page
-Need to insert and create a new product model and select the model and enter product related data.
-Create KB's
-Will have to define the characterstics and values and assign to class
-Product model hierarchy shows the model in tree structure.
-After you created the hierarchy with all details you can simulate the configuration as a result titile simulator pops up where you can see the status and Variants and your current selection.

Hi all HP fans!
I really wonder why not HP Support Forum is not categorized by every product model or at least model series to help customers post issues in apropriate group and helpers don't get confused in thousands of unrelated questions.

I've been a service tech for 18 years repairing HP products, from Laserjets to Designjets and I used their technical support web site and phone support for help when I was stuck.
In the early years Tech Support was great! They were a knowledgeable and helpful team of bright people.
This was when HP had direction and vision.
They cared about the customer, the customer's satisfaction and the companies image.
Not any more.
Just look at the piles and piles of ticked off people ranting about HP's Customer Support...it's shameful!
HP pumps out new products faster than ever, dropping support for relatively new products and leaving customers and 3rd party support providers out in the cold.
They put up self-help websites like this one to make themselves feel better.
We've moved on to Canon products and let me tell you...we've never looked back!
Customer and tech support are second to none as well as the products!

Summary Column inside the Cross Product

Hai All,
I have developed a matrix report in the RDF format. There is a summary column inside the cross product. When I create the generate XML from the RDF the summary column from cross product is not apppering in the generate XML file. How can we accomplish that summary column inside the RDF.

A spatial cross product compares the geometries of one layer with all the geometries of another layer. For performance reasons, oracle recommends to make the smallest table (table with less rows) the second argument. From this, I understand that the results are independent on which table is made the first/second argument. However, my spatial cross query returns different results.
For example consider the following query which takes 3 hours:
SELECT /*+ordered*/ b.itemid pntitemid, a.itemid areitemid
FROM POIS_SDE b, ADMIN_SDE a
WHERE sdo_anyinteract(a.OBJECT, b.OBJECT) = 'TRUE''
POIS_SDE is a table with point-geometries. The table has 142079 rows.
ADMIN_SDE is a table with polygons. The table has 2617 rows.
Subset of the results:
PNTITEMID     AREITEMID RELATION
1000052902     32006236 touch
1000052902     32006421 touch
For performance reasons, this query takes 10 minutes:
SELECT /*+ordered*/ b.itemid pntitemid, a.itemid areitemid
FROM ADMIN_SDE a, POIS_SDE b
WHERE sdo_anyinteract(b.OBJECT, a.OBJECT) = 'TRUE'
But the result of this query is different meaning that these (1000052902, 3200623, touch) and (1000052902, 32006421, touch) is not discovered. (There are plenty other examples; all touch-relations).
Can anyone explain me this difference? It doesn't make sense at all.
