CRS-1 support EoMPLS preferred tunnel selection ?

Can anyone help me verify the CRS-1 support EoMpls Tunnel selection function ? or this function is only on the Cisco 12000 router ?
IOS-XR configuration guide 3.6 : have this function , I do not find any restriction.
I check IOS-XR 3.7 config guide, it say :
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/ios_xr_sw/iosxr_r3.7/mpls/configuration/guide/gc37te.html#wp1325561
The following PBTS functions are supported only on the Cisco XR 12000 Series Router:
*L2VPN preferred path selection lets traffic be directed to a particular
TE tunnel.
So , I am not sure CRS-1 support it or not?
Thanks for your help.
Michael

Hello Michael,
it says:
>>>The following PBTS functions are supported only on the Cisco XR 12000 Series Router:
•L2VPN preferred path selection lets traffic be directed to a particular TE tunnel.
•Both Interior Gateway Protocol (IGP) and Label Distribution Protocol (LDP) paths are used as the default path for all traffic that belongs to a class that is not configured on the TE tunnels.
•According to the quality-of-service (QoS) policy, tunnel selection is based on the outgoing experimental (EXP) value and the remarked EXP value.
•IPv6 traffic for both 6VPE and 6PE scenarios are supported.
My understanding is that the feature is not supported on CRS-1
Hope to help

    What is the difference between Dynamic Tunnel Selection and ordinary PBTS? It would be nice to see some real-world example.

    PBTS with DTS is supported only on the Cisco XR 12000 Series Router... you should rather test it on 12K platform.

  • TF10121: The path '' is not found or not supported. Type or select a different path. After SQL2012 install and Solution upgraded to VS2010

    I have recently upgraded a solution from vs2008 to vs2010.  This solution happens to contain several .rptproj file (SSRS 2008R2 reports).  I was able to upgrade the solution after I installed SQL2012 (which installed the necessary templates
    into vs2010).
    However whenever I open the solution the Output window now pops up and continuously lists the same error (shows output from Source Control - Team Foundation).
    TF10121: The path '' is not found or not supported. Type or select a different path.
    I have tried reinstalling Team Explorer SP1, and VS2010 SP1, but with no change.
    If I unbind the solution from source control the messages go away.  Rebind and they return.
    The problem doesn't always start straight away, it may take a few solution explorer clicks.
    Opening an rdl into the editor seems to halt the messages, until I go back to clicking in solution explorer (similarly the issue doesn't always re-occur first click).
    E.g.
    TF10121: The path '' is not found or not supported. Type or select a different path.
    TF10121: The path '' is not found or not supported. Type or select a different path.
    Audit.rdl has been automatically checked out for editing.
    Then no errors until going back and clicking in solution explorer (which is using auto hide)

    Does anyone else out there share this problem or more importantly a solution/work around?

    Hi Evanw21,
    Based on the current information, it seems to be the known issue described in the following KB article:
    FIX: TF10121 error when you right-click a project file of the project or a folder in the project in Visual Studio 2010
    The root cause of the problem is that we hold onto a stale reference to the old project and get back an empty string when we try to get its directory path. To resolve this problem, contact Microsoft Customer Support Services to obtain the hotfix. For a complete
    list of Microsoft Customer Support Services telephone numbers and information about support costs, visit the following Microsoft website:
    http://support.microsoft.com/contactus/?ws=support
    Besides, there is one easy workaround. If we close the solution and re-open it prior to attempting to re-add the project, we should be able to add it successfully.

    Im from Philippines one of our carriers here supports 4G already on selected areas, Im currently in the area where this carrier has 4G now, I couldnt see my phone on 4G signal. Can anybody give me an idea, why?

    Here's why:

  • Does ACI support a VXLAN Tunnel between Leaf(Leaves) and VMware-vDS, and MS-vSwtich?

    Hi Experts,
    I have a quick question about Normalized Forwarding of ACI Fabric.
    Does ACI support a VXLAN Tunnel between Leaf(Leaves) and VMware-vDS, and MS-vSwtich? Otherwise any plan to provide that function in the future?
    If there is no function and plan How is Normalized Forwarding possible with VXLAN headers that are generated by each Hypervisor? Of course I know it's possible for a VM on ESXi to communicate with another VMs on Hper-V without VXLAN but I just focus on Normalized Forwarding between Multi-Hypervisor.
    Or If AVSs are implemented on ESXi and Hyper-V repectively, is it possible to make a VXLAN Tunnel between Leaf(Leaves) and AVSs on ESXi and Hyper-V? And what is a example of that usage?
    Thanks in advance.
    Paul

    Hi Paul,
    As I understand, ACI Leaf to the VMware-vDS is still vlan so no tunnel for VXLAN. When we integrate Vcenter with the ACI, We define the vlan range for the traffic from VM-ware-vDS to map EPG to a VMware ESXi port group.
    For the MS-vSwitch, As It support OpFlex agent could act as VTEP but not part of the fabric. But I am not sure about this.
    As AVS is part of the fabric so It will act as a VTEP (VXLAN Tunnel between Leaf(Leaves) and AVSs)
    But what is the benefit are you looking? Traffic normalization is still there because Traffic within the fabric is encapsulated as VXLAN. External VLAN/VXLAN/NVGRE tags are mapped at ingress to an internal VXLAN tag.
    Note:the VLAN ID has local significance for the leaf node

  • Does the 76xx routers supports EoMPLS without SIP installed?

    Dear Sir!
    Can you tell to me, does the 7600 series of routers supports EoMPLS without shared port adapters (SPAs) and SPA interface processors (SIPs)?
    I.e. if we have 7606S-RSP720C-R, WS-X6704-10GE ports connected to backbone and
    WS-X6408A-GBIC with WS-X6148A-GE-TX ports connected to our DataCenter
    (without any SIPs and SPAs installed on board).
    Can we make EoMPLS for such clients, which are should connected
    to our DataCenter through remote CAT3750-METRO?
    Best regards,
    Maxim

    Hello,
    There are generally two modes of EoMPLS:
    (1) PFC Based MPLS and related applications
    mode
    (2) WAN Based MPLS (SIP/SPA/OSM/ES20) and related applications mode
    (1) Is only dependent on which Sup do you have
    and generally works with most of the Ethernet (LAN) ports... If you have PFC-3B or later along with Sup-720, Sup-32 (which is PFC-3B) you can do it.
    (1) Has some disadvantages - for example you cannot having L2 switching AND MPLS EoMPLS...
    I.e. if you want to do local switching on Vlan 200 and part of the traffic to be switched part of the traffic to be EoMPLS you cannot do it without SIP/SPA/OSM/ES20
    (2) In this case you need to check very well what you're looking for. These are expensive and they support MPLS and its Applications and even support VPLS, which is not possible with (1)....
    I hope this answer your quesiton...

  • Is there any portal support for chained / cscaded selects?

    Hello Experts,
    Is it possible to have html selects which are chained/linked to each other so that if I select a option in the first select box the values in the second select box should chnaged based on the first select choice.
    If so an example would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    This would not be portal support but javascripting...
    Here is a simple example that if you select plane the second select box will change to have 5 options all saying new text:
    <html>
    <body>
    <Script type="text/javascript" language="javascript" >
    function doThis(){
    var box = document.forms['form1'].select1;
    if (box[box.selectedIndex].value=='plane'){
    alert(box[box.selectedIndex].value);
         for(i=0;i<5;i=i+1){
         document.forms['form1'].select2.options[i] = new Option('new text','new value');
    </script>
    <form id="form1">
    <select id="select1" onChange="doThis()">

  • PIX Crypto Tunnel Selection

    I'm troubleshooting a site-to-site VPN tunnel between our Cat 6506 w/ VPN module to peer's PIX-515. The peer's crypto config appears to be incorrect and has two tunnels built between it and our VPN module.
    Example:
    crypto map mymap 1 match address acl1
    crypto map mymap 1 set peer 1.1.1.1
    crypto map mymap 1 set transform-set myset
    crypto map mymap 2 match address acl2
    crypto map mymap 2 set peer 1.1.1.1
    crypto map mymap 2 set transform-set myset
    access-list acl1 permit ip 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255 10.0.0.0 0.255.255.255
    access-list acl2 permit ip 10.10.0.0 0.0.255.255 host 10.255.255.1
    My question is how does the PIX determine which crypto peer (and subsequent SA) to send a packet to? In this example if a packet is sent from 10.10.1.1 to 10.255.255.1, does it match acl1 because it is sequentially higher than the next peer, or does it match acl2 because it is the longest-match for that packet?
    I've tried looking through Cisco's website and documentation, but I cannot find the order of precedence for crypto tunnels and how packets are selected/sent.
    Anyone here know?

    If memory servers, I believe the lower map statement has priority. Therefore, everything going from 10.0.0.0 /8 to 10.0.0.0 /8 will be encrypted using the first mymap statement...however, both remote peers and transform sets are the same, so I'm not sure what you're trying to accomplish here.

  • Using properties from a propery file (for i18n support) in a html:select

    <Newbie alert!>
    OK, I' d like to be able to put text strings used by my JSP/Struts pages in a properties file so that we can change them for different languages. So I have a file referenced in struts-config.xml as such:
    <message-resources parameter="com.myproject.resources.ApplicationResources"/>
    This works fine and I can use tags like: <bean:message key="prompt.decision"/> in my JSP files.
    I would like to be able to use strings defined in the property file also for a dropdown list like such:
    <html:select name="displayForm" property="scoreFinalDecision" >
         <html:option value="Approved"><bean:message key="option.approved"/></html:option>
         <html:option value="Denied"><bean:message key="option.denied"/></html:option>
    etc etc
    </html:select>
    This works, but I would like the value (i.e. value="Approved") also to be picked up from the
    property file, not hard-coded like above.
    How can I do that? I know that I could pick up the values from a Collection using html:options,
    but I don't understand how that would help me get the values from the property file?
    </Newbie>
    Many thanks,
    Tattersail (who notices that his forum doesn't undertand international characters: )

    Well you could use an <html:optionsCollection tag
    Just fetch the content of your property file in your action and then populate a vector with labelvalubean object (comes with the struts package) org.apache.struts.util.LabelValueBean
    labels = new Vector();
    //loop here
    LabelValueBean label = new LabelValueBean("value","label");
    labels.add(label);
    //end loop
    yourForm.setYourOptionCollection(label);
    The in your form you write something like
    <html:select name="displayForm" property="scoreFinalDecision" >
    <html:optionsCollection property="your property here" />
    </html:select>
    it will iterate through your vector and display the options

  • No "preferred network" selection!?!?

    G4 iBook running 10.4.8, trying to reconfigure after a little screwup. when i try to configure airport, the "by default, join" shows only "a specific network" choice. there is no "preferred network" choice, which is what i want. i have tried deleting the pref file, but i cannot get this choice to reappear.
    what to do???
    i have searched the forum for similar problems, but have not found anything relating to this specific issue, although i suspect it is there.

    Hi Jerome,
    Do you mean "Automatic"? Or that it shows just one network? I have never seen "a specific network" in the choices... Only Automatic or Preferred Networks...
    Is it greyed out? If it is, you might have to turn Airport back on before you can change it. Try clicking Apply Now, then open Internet Connect to turn Airport on.

  • Basic CRS Script support

    I am trying to create a script that allows the caller to enter a zip code and get addresses of the nearest doctor based on 5 mile radius.
    I am stuck on the "GET DIGIT STRING"
    I am not sure what to do next after the digits are collected.
    I have an IF (resultant digit string) == 92618 with a prompt that plays the address.
    It is not working.
    Does anyone out there have any experience and advice.
    My goal is to actually use a database, but I cannot find any sample scripts.

    Hi Gabriel,
    So I took your advise and I was able to use the labels as you suggested. It works great!! Thanks..
    So I attached my simple script. I plan to customize it more.
    I just enabled the Nuance Recognizer 9 and tested my aa.aef canned cisco script to verify. It works as expected.
    Drilling down through the aa.aef script, I realize that it is way too complicated for me to figure out.
    I just was wondering what steps I need in my simple script "script11.aef" to integrate ASR functions that will allow the caller to "SAY" the zipcode in addition to DTMF.
    If I just get directed in the right direction, I can try and figure it out.
    I do not know if I need conditional prompts since I already have ASR enabled.
    I seem to have the simple recognition "menu" working "ONLY" as DTMF right now in my simple script. I made a grammar *.digit but I am not sure why it does not respond to speech as the aa.aef does.
    What my goal is, is to have the spoken zipcode get saved as a string to use as a variable in quering a SQL database, Just like the get digit string does now with DTMF.

  • DUAL SIM PHONE OPTIONS

    I need to get a dual sim phone so that i can have my own personal mobile sim in it and my work mobile sim in too
    However, I need the option to be able to USE ONE SIM ONLY , so that I can 'turn off' my work mobile when I am not working.
    I was looking at something like the Asha 202 or C2-00. However, having downloaded their user manuals, it would suggest you cannot do this (And only have the option of selecting which sim will be used for outgoing calls/texts).
    Another dual sim phone , the Nokia 101 according to its user guide has the facility to USE ONE SIM ONLY. However, that is a very basic phone and has no camera.
    So, my question is, is the USE ONE SIM ONLY available on the 202 & C2-00 and is just omitted from the user guide, or is it really not available ?
    Thanks

    @MIKEYBOY_UK
    AFAIK it allows simultaneous Dual SIM Support with preferred SIM selection for Making Calls and Data. Asha 200 allows hot swap of SIM 2 via side slot whilst SIM 1 is placed underneath battery.
    Happy to have helped forum with a Support Ratio = 42.5

  • Is SELECT MAX(*) Supported?

    I'm trying to grab the latest date from our table in a DB Read step.
    Reading the Step Reference documentation, it indicates that only SELECT COUNT(*) and SELECT MIN(*) are not supported functions. So SELECT MAX(*) should work, right?
    When I do my Reactive Script, that step fails with that blank pop up.
    So is SELECT MAX(*) not allowed?
    How would I go about grabbing the latest date?
    Do I need to put my values in an array and then use expressions to grab the max?
    I'm looking with my other DB admin to see if there's an alternate SQL query we can use.

    Hi,
    I guess (almost) everything is supported, as long as you make the UCCX believe it sees the right column.
    First, create a dummy table or view - one column would do, in this case. For instance:
    CREATE TABLE mytable (myData INT)
    Then map the UCCX step to this dummy table - even though there's no data.
    The only thing to remember is to use the correct column alias, from that dummy table, in this case, myData. Like this:
    SELECT MAX(column) AS [myData] FROM table WHERE foo=bar
    G.

  • RV016 split VPN tunnel support?

    I read a rumor that the RV016 does not support split VPN tunnels.
    See here:
    http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanwan/lanwan-reviews/31525-cisco-rv082-and-rv016-v3-vpn-routers-reviewed
    My  understanding is that VPN tunnels on my RV042 routers will send  internet traffic out the local gateway, and only send traffic thru the  VPN tunnel if it is destined for the remote subnet.  That is my  understanding of "split tunnel".
    Is that not true with the RV016?

    Your understanding about split tunnel is correct. RV016 behaves the same as RV042 in this regard.

  • Dot1q tunnel VPLS support

    Hello Guys,
    I am configuring a dot1q tunnel VPLS since it suited our need for the client's requirements. To my surprise the 48 port tx we are using on our 7600 doesn't support this
    7609-PPE1(config-if)#switchport mode dot1q-tunnel
    Command rejected: Gi2/4 doesn't support 802.1q tunneling.
    IOS is s72033-pk9sv-mz.122-18.SXD5.bin
    Hardware is 48 SFM-capable 48 port 10/100/1000mb RJ45 WS-X6548-GE-TX
    For me to establish a good VPLS in dot1q (dot1q in dot1q) multipoint connection, what hardware with port density is available for this one?
    I didn't have any problem with OSM modules, but we have to be practical with the port density.
    Your insights will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks.

    For vpls to work the core facing should be a osm module.Configure IP routing in the core so that the PE routers can reach each other via IP. Configure MPLS in the core so that a label switched path (LSP) exists between the PE routers.For more info refer
