CRS ver 4.5 Agent Desktop compatible with Windows 7?

Just wondering if anyone knows if the Agent Desktop from CRS version 4.5 is compatible with Windows 7.  We are able to get it to load, but when you try to run it, we get a sllapi.dll error.
Error states that "The program can't start because sllapi.dll is missing from your computer.  Try reinstalling the program to fix the problem."
I am running the Agent Desktop on WinXP with no issues.  I searched my system and I don't have that dll on my system.
Anyone seen this or have a workaround?

That would be a resounding No.

  • Remote Desktop compatible with Windows 7 Home Premium

I would like to see/hear/manipulate the various programs on my laptop....from my playbook....
I downloaded Remote Desktop for Blackberry Playbook (by Todd Grayson), but unfortunately I did not read the specificis of the app, and it does not work with Windows 7 Home Premium.  My laptop windows version apparently allows you to access other computers remotely,  but I cannot access my own !  Now I am afraid to download and pay for another app for fear it won't work either.
My playbook and my laptop are both on wifi.  We have an  E2000 router.  I'd like to be able to access my computer via the playbook  from within the house and from another location...(two different programs?)
Anybody have any suggestions?  Word of warning.....Needless to say, I am not particularly tech savvy.....

  • Is creative suite 1 vers 8 compatible with windows 7

I have Creative Suite 1 Vers 8 and I am having problems loading the Photoshop software.  Is this version compatible with Windows 7 Ultimate ?

Yes/ no/ maybe/ whatever. It may work if you know your way around your system and can tweak the respective problem areas, but then again it may not work at all. Either way, the technical aspects are moot because of this:

  • Illustrator 10 compatible with Windows Vista?

I'm looking to purchase Illustrator 10 (can't afford the $600 for CS3). Is it compatible with windows vista? I've been all over the Adobe website, but there is no information pertaining to any upgrades or FAQs on the subject.

You'll be trying to run an old version of Illustrator (now at v.13) on an operating system with which it was never tested, so all bets are off.
However, users have reported success with Illustrator versions going back as far as 8. After installation, you will most likely need to do the following:
Right-click on the Illustrator EXE file, choose properites, click the compatibility tab, and then select...
    * Disable Visual Themes
    * Disable Desktop Composition
    * Disable display scaling on high DPI machines
It's going to be difficult to purchase a legal copy of such an old version.
    Caveat emptor.
Also make sure you update to 10.0.3.

  • Is Adobe XI compatible with Windows 8 RT on a Windows Surface 2?

Is Adobe XI compatible with Windows 8 RT on a Windows Surface 2?

    Hi Alfred ,
I would like to know do you have a Surface Pro (running Windows 8) or Surface RT (running Windows RT).  There is no such thing called "Windows 8 RT".
It is not compatible with the Windows RT operating system.  So if you have a Surface RT, you would not be able to install and run the desktop app.
Adobe Reader Touch is a Windows Store app with "Modern" UI.  It is compatible with both Windows 8 and Windows RT operating systems.

  • Is Adobe Illustrator 8.0 compatible with Windows 7?

Is Adobe Illustrator 8.0 compatible with Windows 7? It will not install automatically and when I try to manually run the setup exe I get an error message.

    mcalomeris,
At least according to this website, you should be able to run older applications/versions in XP mode in Windows 7:
    http://arstechnica.com/microsoft/reviews/2010/01/windows-xp-mode.ars
    Here is an excerpt:
    Virtualizing the problem
With Windows 7, however, Redmond has provided a solution to the problem: Windows XP Mode. Windows XP Mode uses virtualization technology to let applications running on a virtualized copy of Windows XP show up in the Windows 7 Start menu and on the Windows 7 desktop.
Windows XP Mode is a downloadable add-on for Windows 7 Professional, Ultimate, and Enterprise. It has two parts: the virtualization software itself, and a disk image containing a pre-installed, activated, licensed copy of Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 preinstalled, complete with the glorious Internet Explorer 6.
The virtualization software is the latest iteration of Virtual PC. Although you wouldn't know it from the download page, this is available for any version of Windows 7 aside from Starter. You wouldn't know it, because selecting a version of Windows other than those previously listed removes the option to download Virtual PC. It shouldn't, though; it should only remove the option to download the Windows XP Mode image.
    The download link is here:

  • Firefox 5 not compatible with windows 7 apparently!! Need to downgrade to previous version. Computer crashes using ff but nothing else.

Microsoft's site says firefox 3 is compatible with windows 7. however, i've upgraded to firefox 5 and now system crashes to the blue screen.

I have a laptop running Firefox 5.0 on Windows 7 and don't have problem with it.
What I suggest you do in the first instance is to start Windows 7 using the '''Last Known Good Configuration''' which will load the operating system the last time it worked properly, instructions here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows-vista/Using-Last-Known-Good-Configuration
    Then do the following.<br><br>
#Use Internet Explorer to download Firefox from here: [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/fx/?ref=logo Download Firefox 5.0.1] and choose "'''Save'''" when you see the prompt and save it to your desktop. ''Do not choose "Run"''.<br><br>
#Next, uninstall the version you have at the moment via "Programs and Features" in Control Panel choosing to keep your bookmarks, customizations etc., (''don't checkmark the box'').<br><br>
    #Next, reboot.<br><br>
#When the system boots to the desktop, delete the folder called "Mozilla Firefox" at this location: C:\Program Files\ <br><br>
#Run the installation file you downloaded earlier.<br>
Your bookmarks, customizations etc., are maintained in a different location and will become available to you again once you complete the installation.<br><br>
I don't know if your bookmarks can be retrieved or not, but the following procedure can be used to make a backup should they still be available.<br><br>
    #Press CTRL+SHIFT+B to open the Bookmarks manager.<br><br>
#Click the link to '''Import and Backup '''and then click '''Export HTML '''and save the file somewhere.
You can use the same Bookmarks Manager to import the file you saved by choosing "Import HTML" should that prove to be necessary.

  • Is my touchsmart 310-1125y pc compatible with Windows 8?

I want to install Windows 8 if possible all of my other devices run it great but don't want to risk my main desktop if it's not compatible?

One of your best options is to make an image of your hard disk and save it externally for safekeeping. You can use Macrium Reflect Free edition to do that. Macrium will create a clone copy and that will enable you to reinstall your previous operating system and partitions just as they were on the day you created the image.
Here is a video with Windows 8 preview on a TouchSmart 310 PC. Yes, your PC  is compatible with Windows 8.
Use the Upgrade assistant for Windows 8. It has a inspection phase where it inspects your hardware (devices) and applications (including drivers). The inspection phase gives a report on what is and what is not compatible with Windows 8. When the report is complete and read you have a chance to cancel the upgrade. If you  choose to install the operating system you are given the option of saving documents and other files or not and another chance to cancel the installation. If you choose to install the dowloading of the operating system will begin.

  • Is Sunone webserver6.1  compatible with Windows 7??

I recently migrated my workplace system from Windows XP to Windows 7. I am using Sunone Webserver6.1 to deploy some instances. Surprisingly, instances which were working fine earlier, failed to work.Although, same are working fine with Glassfish 3.1.2. I believe, Sunone webserver should be platform independent. But going through the release notes, I couldn't find Windows 7 as the supported platform. (Link: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E22288_01/doc.60/e18788/chapter.htm#solFUNEI )
Would be thankful to know if Sunone webserver6.1 is compatible with Windows 7??

Basically, support on desktop OS is limited for applications that are developed for servers, and a desktop is not intended to support high charge and high traffic. I can of course list other points why the support is limited.
Regarding Glassfish version 2.1.1, yes it's noted in the release notes that it is supported on Windows 7.

  • Is iTunes 11.1.0 compatible with Windows XP Home Edition?

I am trying to update my iTunes to 11.1.0, but get a Windows error message that says it might not be compatible with Windows XP (Home Edition).  I've never had this problem updating iTunes before.  Any insight would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

Has XP been updated to Service Pack 2? Right-click Computer on your desktop or in the start menu and click Properties. Visit Windows/Microsoft Update and install the service pack if needed, otherwise ignore the error and continue.

  • Is Fios compatible with Windows 7 64-Bit?

I would like to know if Verizon FIOS is compatible with windows 7 64-bit because I've seen some topics on the internet where there are problems with it. If you need more info about the computer, please let me know, but keep in mind that my computer has pretty decent specs. (corei7 processor, Gigs of ram, ATI Radeon 5770, etc )
Thanks for any help you can give me.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

To expand on the first reply, I do have FiOS TV and internet, and there is absolutely no need to install any Verizon software on your computer to use the service. I do not currently have any installed on my Windows 7 64-bit system that I am typing this on right now, have been using this laptop since Oct 22, 2009 with Windows 7 on FiOS, works fine.
And if you do decide you want to install some Verizon software, my experience is that some probably will work, some probably will not. For example, the Verizon Call Assistant (VCA) client didn't work worth a *&^%#@, at least for me, but I don't need it as I have a very reliable Caller ID on TV setup and if I really need to access VCA I can use the website anyway. (and FWIW, that client didn't work correctly on Windows XP either!). I tried the PC-based In-Home Agent client, sort of seemed to work, but since I didn't have any problems or issues that needed to be fixed I deleted it.
Unless you really need a specific Verizon program, don't worry about it.
And just for completeness, I have not yet found any sofware, fee or free, from anybody, that won't work with FiOS, be it email (Windows Live Mail), browser (IE, Firefox, Safari, or Chrome), Avast anti-virus, etc, etc, etc. Of course I am sure that there is at least one program out there that won't work, but so far I have not found it
Edit: just saw your reply. I pay for 25 mbs down, 15 mbs up service, and I typically get 24+ down and 23+ up, wired or wireless, from multiple speed test sites, no tuning of Windows 7 on my part. It just works for me; some people do seem to have performance and/or connectivity issues, l don't and I don't know why they do. But one thing I will warn you about is that if you have a cordless phone (2.4 GHz) and you decide to use wireless, you may experience some connectivity problems when using the wireless connection, if you do try changing the channel number in the router to 1, 6, or 11.
    Hope this helps.
