Crsctl stop and windows

Hi. all.
I tried to stop a RAC database installed on 32-bit windows 2003 server.
I run the followings:
1. srvctl stop instance -d rac -i rac1
2. srvctl stop nodeapps -n nodename
Until now, everything is fine.
Howerver, when I was trying to stop clusterware by "crsctl stop crs",
cluster-related windows services is not going to down.
Here is the log, when I issued "crsctl stop crs".
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>crsctl stop crs
Stopping resources.
Successfully stopped CRS resources
Stopping CSSD.
Shutting down CSS daemon.
Shutdown request successfully issued.
I can see the followings in service window.
OracleCRService is now successfully down.
OracleCSService is now going down, but not down.
OracleEVMService is now going up , but not up.
What happened? Is it useful to run "crsctl start/stop crs"
on 32-bit windows 2003 Server??

I can see the followings in service window.
OracleCRService is now successfully down.
OracleCSService is now going down, but not down.
OracleEVMService is now going up , but not up.
Not sure above is right way to check status of CRS.
Try following to get clear picture
go to CRS_HOME/bin ( like cd c:\oracle\product\10.2.0\crs\bin) and run
crs_stat -v ( For detail )
crs_stat -t ( for Table format)

Yes it would, possibly even brick it.
Have successfully connected my ipod nano with iTunes so looks like the device driver is working.
Can I use my ipod nano USB connector to check?
It is not much help to you, since the device that you need still not recognized.
Anyway looks like I may have to swallow the loss of data. Have set-up a call for tomorrow with Apple support so will wait until after this before doing the factory restore!

Windows 8 All-In-One 1210v printer that stops and starts printing process

My printer has worked well until a few days ago when it suddenly started to load and begin printing, only to suddenly stop and "rest" then start again and do the same thing. This problem continues. The only thing I did that I thought might be the problem was to replace the ink cartridges.
I have checked with the " printer doctor" and tried all suggestions, including removing and replacing the cartridges. But that didn't work nor did the other suggestions there. I found no mention of my particular problem anywhere.
Do I need a new printer?

Are you able to run the Config Wizard? Are there any helpful messages in the Application Event Log or in Applications and Services Logs -> Microsoft -> SharePoint Products -> Shared -> Operational?

TS1717 iTunes 11 and Windows 7 (32 bit). iTunes crashes frequently (Windows message : "iTunes has stopped working and will be closed").

iTunes 11.0.1.12 and Windows 7 (32 bit, latest version). iTunes crashes frequently (Windows message : "iTunes has stopped working and will be closed"). I may be trying to search for an App. or book (or anything else), trying to access iTunes store, checking for updates to Apps., inputting my password, etc. etc. I have uninstalled iTunes several times, reinstalled several times, but the error persists. I tried the iTunes 10 suggested fix of running in safe mode, but iTunes again crashed when I was trying to create a new ID.
Any real help would be gratefully received. Thank you.

I have the same issue. An iTunes help page (iTunes for Windows Vista, Windows 7, or Windows 8: Fix unexpected quits or launch issues - Apple Support) suggested I hold down shift and control when clicking to open iTunes, which opens iTunes fine for me. That would mean the problem is in the third party plug-ins that work with iTunes. However, the help pages did not say what to do with the plug-ins once I knew that was the issue. The pages said to find the plug-ins and move them to the Desktop, which I did. That's where the help pages stopped, which is ridiculous. Does anyone know what to do from there?

I click on the Firefox ixcon. Windows appears to start opening it. But it stops and never begins.

The hour glass appears, as if the program will begin. Then after 3 or 4 seconds it disappears. So I am unable to open FireFocx. I now have to use Internet Explorer (yuck).

The CrashIDs are what is needed. Do not attempt to attach or paste the reports.

So you are saying it works ok as long as you avoid certain pages such as this Forum. That makes me wonder if it could be malware that is blocking access to assistance.Run malwarescans with multipe and up-to-date tools.

Start and Stop a Windows Service From Java

Is there any way to start and stop a Windows service from Java? The only post I found on it (http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=647509) had a link to one of the many aps that allow Java programs to be services, which is not what I am interested in doing.
I am attempting to get data from performance counters from the Windows Performance Monitor into a Java ap without using JNI. I can get the data from C++ or a .net language pretty easily and was going to create a service that would listen for socket requests and feed back the data. However, I'd like to start and stop that service when my java code starts and stops. Is this possible? Would it make more sense to just use a .exe and Runtime.exec()?

PowerPoint and Windows doc viewing stopped working

When I am sent an email on my iPad2 or iPhone 4s with a PPTX or PPT, DOCX or DOC it will not display anything other than the title of the document and a date in a shadow gray font in the middle of the page. even though it says it downloaded a 7MB file, the file itself is unreadable by Mail, OpenOffice, or SlideShark.
this problem began with the upgrade to iOS 7 and hasn't gone away. what's up? do I need to reconfigure something?

I tried the ezvid, and it was lacking some of the most important things that the windows movie maker had, like a better preview window. while in the preview you could stop and take a still shot , and then use that as a photo for other applications , and there weren't any effects to fade from one photo to another, or at least i din't find that. I couldn't find the help file, or instructions area on board, it kept taking me to the website for troubleshoting there. and then it crashed in the middle of trying things out, but it was worth a try.
I guess I would like to get windows movie maker back in, but don't know what to do... Microsoft says that it installs with SP2 , and I'm up to service pack 3 , and can not find the movie maker as a seperate down;load and install...would appreciate any further advice. Thank you for quick response.

Why do streaming video's keep stopping and reloading not play through windows 7 64 bit
