One question!
How are you sending the data to the reports?  Are you connecting the reports directly to the SQL Server tables?  If so, I believe you have to take into consideration the fact that connectivity parameters will vary in your client.
Maybe you have taken this into account already! Just in case
hope it helps

    Possibly it's a path problem try to rewrite env-entry-value for clientSDKOptions with either double backslashes or simple slashe.
    Furthermore the blanks in the path migth be a reason for your problem.

  • Crystal report parameter problem while uploading in sap business one

    Hi
    All
    I designed a crystal report using
    stored procedure
    and
    Routemas user defined table
    in sql server with three parameter
    routname,from date,to date
    these parameters are from storedprocedure only but not created in report
    i set the parameter routename  as dynamic and i assigned the routename field from routemas table
    when i run the report in the parameter window it displays the list of routenames
    upto this is k but
    when i upload this report in sap business one 8.81 PL-05  and
    run this report in sap environment First it asks parameters there
    it didnt display the list of routnames
    when the parameter routname is set as static and assign some  routenames manually
    then it shows the list in sap environment
    Can any suggest the answer

    Hi Rhaul,
    i don't exactly know why this is a problem, but if your not on latest (881 p10) then upgrade and try again.
    Or as a workaround,
    try saveing from CR to SAP with the CR add-on. That usualy works better then the import.

  • Help: Crystal Report displays decimals on X-axis when published in Infoview

    Hi everyone
    I've been banging my head on my keyboard trying to get past the following issue:
    We have a Crystal Report (XI R2 SP3) containing a bar chart that has numbers on both the X- and Y-axis.
    On the Y-axis I can control the "Number" settings to remove decimals after the comma. So far so good.
    On the X-axis on the other, the numbers are the result of an extensive formula trying to breakdown
    numbers into ranges. Numbers are always whole (no decimals). The X-Axis is an Ordinal scale, which
    does not allow to set any number formatting. Numeric scale does not work in this case because it
    compresses the entire chart into a few bars. And this is where the problem is:
    In Crystal Reports I have a global setting for "Numbers" not to show any decimals. This works, when
    generated in Crystal, I have no decimals past the comma in the graphs on the X-axis.
    when I publish this report to Business Objects Infoview portal and schedule and run it there, all of a
    sudden the PDF displays an X-axis that has 2 decimals past the comma (1234.00). It's driving me nuts.
    I suspect this is a bug, because I've not managed to get rid of these decimals without a text-conversion in
    the formula (does not suit me, I need data ordered properly).
    Can anyone help? Has anyone had this issue?
    Much appreciated!
    Thanks.
    The latest of version of my formula truncates and converts ToNumber. Nothing helps:
    Tonumber(
    truncate(
    IIF (InStr ({Command.SUB_SPECIFICATION},'XF') > 0
        IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 300,300,
             IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 5000,
             Ceiling ({Command.X_TIME}, 200),10000
    ,IIF(InStr ({Command.SUB_SPECIFICATION},'XT') > 0 Or InStr
    ({Command.SUB_SPECIFICATION},'XY') > 0,
            IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 1000,Ceiling ({Command.X_TIME}, 50),
                 IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 5000,
                 Ceiling ({Command.X_TIME}, 200),10000
            IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 300,Ceiling({Command.X_TIME},10),
                 IIF ({Command.X_TIME} <= 5000,
                 Ceiling ({Command.X_TIME}, 200),10000
    Edited by: FREDERIC AGOSTINI on Nov 6, 2008 3:43 PM

    Hi Frederic,
    I tired the following on my machine having CR XI R2,  just as a sample report i created the following formulas,
    Reproducing the issue:
    u2022 Create a formula field u2013 FiscalCurrentHeader u2013
    "FY " & year(DateAdd ("m",+6,CurrentDate))
    u2022 Use a text box and place this formula field
    Summary for {@FiscalCurrentHeader}
    u2022 In the designer, the string exports to .pdf as 'FY 2009' , but on the scheduling/distribution server (BOE XI), the string exports to .pdf as 'FY 2,009.00' (as a number).
    Cause:
    u2022 The datatype of the field u2013 FiscalCurrentHeader is considered as number, because of which when scheduling/distribution server (BOE XI), the string exports to .pdf as 'FY 2,009.00' (as a number).
    Resolution:
    u2022 To remove the comma use ToText in the formula
    "FY " & ToText(Year(DateAdd ("m",+6,CurrentDate)), "0")
    u2022 To remove the comma we can even use
    u201CFY u201D & ToText(Year(DateAdd ("m",+6,CurrentDate)), "0","")
    The last "" defines your 000 separator.
    Try using ToText in place of ToNumber.
    I hope this works at your end.

  • Crystal Report Image Problem

    On launching the Crystal Report we are getting the error "Failed to get the specific page." this is shown above the Crystal report viewer.  In the bottom of the viewer "Error:Programming Error" is displayed.  The same report is working fine when the image is removed in the rpt file.
    Opertaing System : Windows Server 2008 Standard with Service pack1 (64 bit server).
                                    IIS is running in 32 bit
    Crystal Report Version : Crystal Report XI.  (It is not release 2)
    It is a web based application coded in C# for launching the report.
    Steps that has been verified are
    1. Modifying the App pool from integrated to clasic
    2. In the web.config http handlers has been included (under classic mode)
    3. In the integrated mode i tried with <handlers> entries in System.Webserver that too got failed.
    <handlers>
         <add name="CrystalImageHandler.aspx_GET" verb="GET" path="CrystalImageHandler.aspx" type="CrystalDecisions.Web.CrystalImageHandlerPage, CrystalDecisions.Web, Version=<version>, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=<keytoken>" preCondition="integratedMode"/>
    </handlers>
    <validation validateIntegratedModeConfiguration="false"/>
    Is there any hot fix or settings available for this issue.
    Please Note : The same report deliverables are working fine in Crystal Reports XI Release 2 and Windows 2003 server.

    Your best bet is to install the last service pack for XI and use the same level runtime for deployment and give it a shot or just move to XI R2.
    XI hasnt been supported for quite a while and was never tested or supported on Win2008 or 64 bit servers as far as I know.
    I didnt see anything specific to this that wasnt fixed by a hotfix.
    Are you publishing this as a web service or a regular web app?

    Can anyone check this query and help me to find out the issue.
    Regards,
    Hitul

    HI ,
    This conditions may be problem for that particular BP ,
    dbo.OCPR AS T3 ON T0.CntctCode = T3.CntctCode INNER JOIN
    dbo.OCTG AS T4 ON T0.GroupNum = T4.GroupNum INNER JOIN
    you can Change LEFT JOIN instead of INNER JOIN and then check the result.

  • Crystal report displays only a part of a field

    I created a Crystal report based on a BW Query. The user enter a comment about a sales order in SAP. This field has only a key but no text in BW.
    So the text is the key. The whole comment can be seen when I run the query with Bex Analyzer. The key is displayed on the report.
    However Crystal report cuts the length of this field although I use the key in the Crystal report as well. Only 143 characters can be seen.
    I adjusted the font or can grow option of the field but it doesn't work.
    I tried this formula as well but it did not work.
    Stringvar s1:={field} [1 to 100];
    Stringvar s2:={field} [102 to 200];
    S1&s2;
    Can somebody help me about this issue?
    I will be very thankful.
    Deniz

    That would be CR 2013, Service Pack 2. CR 2013 is now on SP 5 and it would be good to update to that. Links to updates are here:

    I am using Visual studio 2008 and crystal report 2008 in a web application.
    I have problem in logging to the database from crystal report by applying the connection info for the runtime (Connect to ODBC DSN).

    Anybody knows how to solve this?

    If you are looking for a reporting solution that's easy-to-use including connecting with Oracle databases just install the ADO.NET Oracle connector), that's why we created the Windward Report Engine. Companies need a powerful, secure enterprise-level .NET reporting engine to back their critical reporting and document generation systems.
    The Windward Engine installs easily, runs on one or more servers as part of your server-based application, and can easily produce hundreds of thousands of reports per day on a single server. The server is a pure .NET product (and also is available as Java/J2EE).
    Even better news for you guys: When combined with the Windward report design tools AutoTag and AutoTag Max, users design, schedule and run reports from within Microsoft Office. That means you can turn over reporting to the business group and get back to more interesting work.
    You don't have to take my word for it. Check out our [robust .NET reporting engine|http://www.windwardreports.com/dot_net.htm?source=pday909&campaign=pday909&utm_source=everyr&utm_medium=post&utm_campaign=pday909&id=304] for yourself.

  • Crystal report installation problem in windows azure.

    Hi Everyone,
    Good day!.
    I have purchased standard version of web site in windows azure server,i'm converting existing normal asp.net application into widows azure project as web role project.In my existing project they have used crystal report tool to generate the reports.
    The issue has been arrived when i published the project into azure server.When i did some R&D people have suggested some tool to install the tool name called "CRRuntime.MSI".We tried and install this msi file both 64 bit and 32 bit,but the
    problem we couldn't even know whether the .MSI file got installed or not.
    Still we are having same issues in server.Please give your good ideas to short this issue in server.
    I'm using VS 2012
    Thanks in advance !
    Regards,
    Ranjithkumar.

    Hi,
    Please make sure that you are enabling remote connection to the web role while deploying from visual studio 2012. Then get remote connectivity RDP file for the VM and connect to it. Install your tool manually and check if the problem getting resolved. If
    this manual installation works then you can schedule installation as start up task in Azure web role.
    [Although I don't know if your tool can be installed automatically by .cmd or .bat or powershell script file]
    You can add installations as start up task in Azure Web Role service definition file. Here is the link and sample XML tags-
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/gg456327.aspx
    <ServiceDefinition name="MyService" xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ServiceHosting/2008/10/ServiceDefinition">
    <WebRole name="WebRole1">
    <Startup>
    <Task commandLine="Startup.cmd" executionContext="limited" taskType="simple">
    </Task>
    </Startup>
    </WebRole>
    </ServiceDefinition>

  • Crystal report viewer problem

    Hi,
    We have CR 2008 SP2 license version and We are using visual studio 2010 and downloaded CR for visual studio 2010. After upgrading when we run the application, report displays successfully with new report viewer  but when i try to open another report it displays in new window rather than in current window. This issue occurs in Internet Explorer only. When i run this apllication in firefox it works....!!!! In firefox, it does not open new window for each report.
    So, can you tell me this issue is related to browser or report viewer and what should we do to solve this issue?
    Thanx in advance for any help.

    Hi,
    I got the exact problem which was occurred. We do have 3 frames in an aspx page. From the link given in one frame (left frame), we are loading new form in another frame(main frame) by giving the "target=main" in link. Suppose in left frame i have given options to load different reports. Report is loaded in main frame after clicking on one of the link given in left frame. Report is displayed successfully in main frame but after that if i click on any of the links given in left frame, page will be loaded in new window. That is the exact issue occurred over here.
    By searching the solution for this problem, I got to know the reason.  It is specified in community forum that in frames concept,  frame name is taken "filter" by default. So i have to chahge my main frame id and name to "filter". I did that and the isuue is resolved...!!!! But for this reason, i have to change frame name in the application. May i know why this was happened..??? In earlier version i did not face this problem then why in upgraded version ...???
    Thanks,
