Crystal Report XI serial number

Since yesterday everytime I open the program, it asked me for the serial number, then sends me an error message of Not Able to find Key Code, but it opens the program and the program works OK, what can be the problem, I don't want to do this everytime I open the program.

Not sure what this has to do with database connectivity so I moved your post to the Report Design forum.
You should have a program called LicenseManager.exe somewhere on your system. Run it and it should show you the keycode and tell you if it's expired, which it should not be.
Possibly your anti-virus or some windows security setting is denying you access to the registry where the keycode and license is saved.
You could try doing a repair install of and/or if you still have your keycode available the download CR XI R2 SP 4 for free and use your XI keycode. Then install Service Pack 6.
Do not post your keycode. If all else fails you can call Customer Services and ask them to check it for you.

For inhse material ,serial number profile is maintained.confirmation happened with serial number in MFBF(REM). i want to list out seiral numbers of material which is in storage location .any std reports is there for to display
and also i want table name (where it is updated)???

As such there is no std report which can fetch u material numbers + serial numbers + qty in stock
What u can do is check the total number of materials with there serial numbers from MMBE or IQ09
Useful tables could be EQSE or EQBS
Against each serial number; there will be a status which can help u to some extent that where exactly the material is

HT4061 if i report the serial number of my stolen iPod, will it stop someone from deleting my info and/or stop them from downloading a new apple account on it?

my ipod was stolen and I am trying to track it down but it either has no wifi or it's off or someone deleted my account from it, I need help asap

No. It won't do anything. You must have setup Find My Phone otherwise there is nothing you can do.

Bug report: entering serial number does not work with azerty keyboard

I did not find a place to submit bug reports, so I'm posting here.
During the instalation of Photoshop Elements 8 for Mac, I was not able to enter any numbers in the serial number fields. Some other keys did work (like &é$...). My keyboard is an azerty (Belgium). Notice the numbers on an azerty keyboard have to be entered while holding the shift key. I tried switching the keyboard to "French - Numerical" (wich enables numbers to be entered with shift lock on), and then some number keys worked, and others didn't.
I solved this with a workaround, by temporary switching my keyboard to U.S. English.

Crystal Report Crosstab Page Number Issue

Hi Gurus,
I am creating the crystal report which has variable column fields, so the number of pages are variable.
The issue is, When i place the page number on the footer, It display only at the end of the page saying '1 of 1', I read lot of forums regarding this issue but didn't get resolved yet.
My crosstab is in the report header, I even tried the dummy group and placed the cross tab in that group. In that case i am getting '1 of 1' in all the pages.
Can you guys please help me to resolve this issue

Symptom
In Crystal Reports (CR) 9, a cross-tab needs to have page numbers for its virtual pages in the format:
"1", "1-1", "1-2", and so on.
How can the virtual pages of a cross-tab be numbered?
Resolution
Virtual pages can be numbered by conditionally formatting the 'Display String' property of a Cross-Tab field.
Displaying Page Numbers in Cross-Tab Virtual Pages
1. Right-click the top-left of a cross-tab and click 'Cross-Tab Expert'.
2. In the 'Cross-Tab Expert' dialog box click the 'New Formula' button, then name the formula 'Page Number'.
3. In the Formula Editor enter a blank space (" ") then click the 'Save' button. Close the 'Formula Editor' dialog box.
4. In the 'Cross-Tab Expert' dialog box select this formula from the 'Available Fields' box and move it to the 'Columns' box. Use the 'Up' arrow for the 'Columns' box to move it to the top of this box.
5. Click the 'OK' button to close the 'Cross-Tab Expert' dialog box.
6. Right-click the 'Column #1 Name' field on the cross-tab and click 'Format Field'. The 'Format Editor' dialog box will appear.

When previewing the report, the cross-tab will display "1" for the first page and then "1-1, 1-2" and so on, for the subsequent virtual pages. Navigating to page 2 will show "2" for the first virtual page followed by "2-1, 2-2" and so on.
Background
'Virtual pages' are the pages on a cross-tab from left to right as opposed to the actual pages that are accessed through the 'Navigation' buttons.
When you create a cross-tab that is wider than the specified page size, CR automatically spans the printing across enough pages to accommodate the width of the cross-tab. In the Preview tab, a line will appear at each page break.

Officejet 4500 G510n-z reports invalid serial number

I have a new Officejet 4500 G510n-z, model number CN547A, running factory firmware version MWM2FN0944AR. I'm using it with several computers running Ubuntu linux.
The printer reports a 14-digit serial number in both the embedded web server's status page and to the HP Device Manager utility on my client computers. The serial number should be 10 digits. That's what's on the printer's box. HP's technical support e-mail page also rejects the 14-digit number as invalid, but accepts the truncated 10-digit number as valid.

The real printer serial number really does compose 14 digits. HP just uses the 1st ten digit number on the serial number to register it your printer. Neither of the numbers are invalid they are just used for specific purposes. The 10 digit number is used to check your warranty status once you're registered at HP. Hope this helps you.

So my phone was stolen while I was in France and it was in airplane mode. Any way I can report the serial number and possibly get it back?

I can't use Find My iPhone clearly because there was no internet connected, I'm back in the states now, I was just hoping since the serial number is unique that I could report it and if it pops up anywhere that I could possibly get my phone back. I can't contact Apple Support because it's outside the 1 year service coverage.

The serial number is indeed unique. But neither Apple nor any other agency (except possibly your local law enforcement) tracks these.

Report a serial number in work order operation

Hello Gurus,
Some of our production orders for a serialized assembly, may have the quantity of 20 or even more. Although the entire quantity tends to stay together for one or more operations, they quickly disperse as some take a little longer to build. I need to track in a single order, with multiple serial number each of the serial numbers. How can I do it?

This is not posisible directly in standard SAP directly. You will have to design some custome Z solution for this. Devlope some kind of transaction which tracks individual serail number in confirmation.
We had something similar requirement with my previous client. We had split production order qty as different tracking numbers.
Tracking number is a production order numbre+0001..0002 equl to toal number of qty so if you have 2 qty of production order 600012 the tracking numbers will be 6000120001,6000120002 ect..
We used to track status of each tarcking number using custome transaction ZLINEUP. we used to post confirmation for each tracking number thrue programming BDC.
This is kind of big project itself.

Stock Aging Analysis Report by Serial Number

Hi Experts,
Is it right to create a Stock Analysis Report for all materials based on Serial Numbers? Because I have now developed a Stock Aging Report which will display the values of stock aging based on Goods Receipt created however, when I base it on Goods Receipt and Serial Numbers, the number won't tally. Please explain what happened? Is this approach not feasible?

We are now experiencing a lot of issues regarding tracking the stock by serial numbers because the current stock aging report only applies to a FIFO stock system. There are also stocks that are transferred from Location to another Location (Sto Loc to Sto Loc2) and they wanted their stocks' aged to be based on the first Storage Location Posted. Please tell me if this is feasible.

Crystal Report extending the number of columns

Am creating a report with a lot of columns. I have gone to page setup and made it landscape but I still have a lot of columns missing

Go to Page Setup and check the 'No Printer' option. Also check the 'Dissociate Formatting Page Size and Printer Paper Size' option; this will enable the horizontal and vertical text boxes. Type in a higher horizontal value and you should be able to fit in all the colums on the report (You might have to play around with the value depending on the no. of cols you have).

- If you previously turned on FIndMyiPod and wifi is on and connect go to iCloud: Find My iPhone, sign in and and go to FIndMyiPhone. If the iPod has been restored it will never show up.
- Change the passwords for all accounts used on the iPod and report to police
- Apple will do nothing. No reason to contact them.

Setting the number of copies to be printed through crystal reports?

I posted this in another section and got redirected to this one.
So I'm working with some software that utilizes Crystal Reports 10, and am looking for a method where through Crystal Reports I can take a user entered parameter value and set that as the number of copies for the printer to print. This isn't an option in Crystal Reports itself, so I understand I may need to dig a little deeper and write some customization to accomplish this.
I've been building Crystal Reports for about two years now, all self taught, but have never had to go this far, where/how would I start on this? And I tried searching for a similar question in these forums to see if it's come up before but couldn't find anything. I'm kind of stuck at the moment because I can't alter the software that's using Crystal Reports to set number of copies, so I want to see if I can do anything in Crystal.

Really, this is actually more of a report design question, though I understand why they's ask you to post here also.
Anyhow, I think what you are asking is; can I design a report such that it will internally hold how many copies it should print(?).
Answer to that is no.
Only way to do multiple copies would be to modify the app you are working with. E.g.; go to the authors of the app and ask them for an enhancement to their product so that you can print multiple copies.

Call the police and report it to them.
There is nothing Apple can do.
Change all of your passwords as well.

Crystal Report Preview vs. SAP B1 Report Preview as a Layout under Content Type

Hello good day i'm trying to create a report that will be preview under A/R Invoice but the details need is under delivery module for example i create a serialize Item and set the Management Method on Every Transaction Under Item master data, so the transaction flow will be like this SO -> Delivery -> A/R Invoice. So under delivery transaction i will choose the serial that i will deliver so that under A/R Invoice Transaction i will no longer choose again the said serial that i choose on Delivery Transaction. There for on my Report i will Based on Delivery Transaction to get the chosen Serial But the Report will be Preview under A/R Invoice.
The main concern on This is why when i preview the said Report under Crystal Report the serial is showing but when i Import it on SAP B1 as a Layout under Content type it is no longer showing the serial on the preview?

Final Cut Studio 2 won't except my old serial number, what should I do?

Final Cut Studio 2 installation software reports invalid serial number when I enter my serial number from Final Cut Studio.
What am I doing wrong?
My Final Cut Studio is an upgrade from an older version of Final Cut. Can I upgrade an upgrade?
My computer is not connected to the internet, is this a problem?

You don't need an internet connection to install Final Cut Studio.
You will be asked to register the software, but you don't have to do this. Although a reminder to register will pop up about every 4th or 5th time the software is opened.
When you use upgrade serial numbers, you usually get a warning that you need the number from a full licensed copy. Enter that and then the new serial that came with the upgrade.
