＜質問＞
上記の環境で、見積書などの明細部分に、各商品のバーコードを印刷したいのですが、
どうすれば良いでしょうか？
もし、Crystal Reports 2008 に変更した場合、その他のバージョンも変更しないといけないのでしょうか？

Crystal Reports 2008 ではバーコードフォントが含まれているので利用可能です。Crystal Reports 8.5 では、有償、無償のバーコードフォントを入手することになります。

    Do not run CR between patches, When SP 6 is installed then CR should work.
    Next issue is CR is a 32 bit application only and it will run on 64 bit OS's but it will not support any 64 bit third party applications including IE. To connect to your database you must use the 32 bit client.
    Run the ODBC Administrator from the \syswow64 folder to create your DSN.

    I am new to Crystal Reports. I have created a Crystal Report (Ver 12.0) and linked it into Visual Studio 2008. I have copied all
    (CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll, CrystalDecisions.ReportSource.dll, CrystalDecisions.Shared.dll, CrystalDecisions.Web.dll) the required Crystal Reports dll's into my Projects \bin folder and referenced them from there. Everything runs fine on my development machine but, when I publish the application on the web server and try to open the report it gives me error
    "The type initializer for 'CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.ReportDocument' threw an exception.
    Source   :CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine"
    Is there something that I am missing?

  • Crystal report merge module

    Hi Members,
    We have an application developed in Visual Basic6, MSAccess(Datastorage) and Crystal Reports11 (for reporting), and working fine since years.
    Now, we have developed the same application using Labview 7.1.
    We are using Crystal Reports Ver.11 for report generation, and working fine. (Had to do this because we have invested a lot of $ for Crystal Reports.)
    Now we want to distribute the software to our customers by giving them the setup. We are sucessfully able to generate the setup of Labview application and working fine on the customer PC, but it gives problems when generting reports on the customer's PC. We studied the documentation of Crystal reports, and found that they have Merge modules that needs to be included in the Setup. We have done it sucessfully in VB6, using MS-Installer, because they support including .MSM files directly.
    We would like to know, how we can include those .MSM files of crystal reports in Labview Application builder, 
    or 
    how to include these .MSM files into our setup cd that is to be given to our customer.

    Sorry for the late reply. Just got back from work. I asked the previous developer. They told me they're using .NET to call the Crystal Report 2013 in VF. Yes we use the SAP Crystal Reports Developer Version for Visual Studio.NET. When i check they reference this C:\Program Files\SAP BusinessObjects\Crystal Reports for .NET Framework 4.0\Common\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win32_x86\dotnet\CrystalDecisions.CrystalReports.Engine.dll. Back from my previous concern.
    My concern is when i'm going to deploy my application to my client.Will it work if i'm going to add the merge module file to my package from this link SAP Crystal Reports, developer version for Microsoft Visual Studio: Updates & Runtime Downloads? Because it say its for Visual Studio and Framework 4.0.
    Do i really need to change my target framework to 4.0 in VS2010 and add the framework 4.0 dependency in my package?

    Support for Crystal Reports ver 9 and 10.5 has already ended and as such no longer available in our Service Market Place (SMP - https://service.sap.com/support) Product Availability Matrix.
    The latest version is Crystal Report 2008 V1 which has a Maintenance End date of Dec 31, 2015.
    For options to upgrade and costs, please call your nearest Customer Interaction Center (CIC) and they should be able to guide you to appropriate team.
    CIC's number can be found in SMP > Help & Support tab > Look up Support Center Addresses sub tab.

  • Crystal Report XI doesn't behave like CR 8.5, only Arial without country !

    In Crystal Reports Vers. 8.5 our customer works on a MSSQL-DB mit Latin-1 and the Client works even in Latin-1 with only a Polisch Keyboard-Layout !
    With Arial (Mitteleuropäisch) and Codepage=238 it was possible to print
    polisch spezial characters !
    Now with Crystal Report XI SP5 it is not possible any longer !

    If I am using say Crystal 2008 and open a report designed in Crystal 8.5 and make some changes - can I then save the modified report as a Crystal 8.5 version?

  • Crystal Report 2008 Limitation

    Hi,
    We are using Crystal Report 2008 SP2(Crystal Report Ver 12.0) for Dot Net 2.0 framework in our production box to generate reports and printing. This is how its working
    1) Multiple dot net Windows Services are running in a Windows Server. Each windows sevice are capable of running 5 cuncurrent threads. Each thread can load a Crystal Report Object to generate report and print
    2) We are facing a serious delay in report processing. After reading through couple of articles in internet, we came to know that Embedded Crystal Report engine has a limitation of processing two concurrent reports at a time.
    3) We like to know, whether these two concurrent processing is for the entire server or  a specific windows service process
    E.g. - assuming we have five windows service running in our server, in this case, whether our application server is capable of processing 10 Crystal Reports at a time or only 2?
    Please advice us. We are waiting for the reply to decide to go ahead with Embedded Version or to buy a Crystal Report Server / Enterprise Edition.

    i have problem running my report using crystal crystal report 2008 SP3 Ver 12.3.1.684 .. it stop responding while i click preview the report ... and my report is connect to ODBC database source provider..  the crystal report will crash while connect using ODBC(RDO) but other than that all work fine ...

    I have about the exact same error and it happens when I hit refresh to update the records.  When I go into the Formula Workshop, there is nothing in Report Custom Function.  Can you give me a little more detail on how you fixed the problem.

  • Crystal Reports for Eclipse ver. 2 fails on export to excel

    I have downloaded crystal reports for eclipse version 2 (full eclipse setup) and created the sample project.
    The new version of JRC looks awesome on the browser. Finally the visual appeal is as good as the .NET version.
    However I am having a problem with the export to excel feature. When I select export to excel, I get the following exception
    Update: I just realized this problem exists for all the export options

    I searched on scn and got the listing you mentioned.
    The jsp code I am using is as follows.

    And I get the following exception on selecting any export.
    WebReportingException: getOutputStream() has already been called...
    So I think maybe this problem is not the same as listed under SAP Note 1199025.
    Also the strange thing is I just download the full ganymede version with crystal report for eclipse version 2, and created a default crystal reports website.
    The samples were provided automatically, and I have not written any code myself.
    Any help would be appreciated.

  • Cyrstal Report Server Version Compatible With What Crystal Reports 2008 Ver

    I am currently running Crystal Report Server Version 12.1.0.882 . I am having issues getting my reports to run on the reporting server. I need to install Crystal Reports on the same machine so that I can test the connection to the database that we are reporting on. The Crystal Report 2008 version I have is 12.2.0.290 but it is incompatible with the current Server version so they can not both run on the same machine.
    What version of the Crystal Reporting Server matches up with the latest version of Crystal Report 2008 12.2.0.290?

    If you want to run Crystal Reports created with Crystal Reports 2008 designer (I believe you are using SP2) you need to have Crystal Reports Server 2008.

  • Crystal reports for eclipse ver 2 with oracle stored procedures

    Does Crystal Reports for Eclipse version 2 support Oracle Stored Procedures.
    I have been struggling to get this to work for the last 1 week.
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Does this mean that oracle stored procedures cannot be used at all in the J2EE environment. As even if I create the report using Crystal Reports 2008, I am unable to get it to work.
    However It works great on .NET.
    Since I can't use stored procedures, I've just copied the query to a bean and am executing it using jdbc. Also I am using the POJO method to link to the report.
    This is working fine, except for the maintainance headache, as I have about 25 stored procedures for reporting, with each having a pretty complex query.
    I guess I will convert all the stored procedures to front end based query mangement and use the POJO method to connect Crystal Reports.
    Any suggestions / recommendations would be helpful.

           1º - Antes da migração para versão XI tinhamos duas licenças "Crystal Enterprise               Professional Named User", onde, depois da migração não sabemos como ficou               a parte de licenciamento para Crystal?
                      2º - Tinhamos Base e Relatórios em Crystal que eram usados antes da migração,                      porem quando foi feito o levantamneto para migração nos informaram que               Crystal não era mais usado. Porem hoje nos questionaram como                            migrar/converter o que já temos (Base e Relatórios antigos), para voltar               a usar o Crystal na versão nova?

  • Unable to see Oracle driver from Crystal Report's Database Expert

    I have installed Oracle client (version 10g) on my laptop that also has Crystal Reports 2008 ver 1 SP3.  I then installed data driver 5.3 (Datadirect ODBC database driver) but I canu2019t see the Oracle driver nor the Oracle wire protocol driver from crystal reportsu2019 database expert.  I have checked the path and it correctly  points to the oracle client (c:\orant\bin).  I am running Windows 7 professional.

    In Windows 7 64 bit ODBC Drivers 32-bit is stored under "C:\Windows\SysWOW64"
    DIRECT PATH   C:\Windows\SysWOW64\ODBC.EXE
    Right click ODBC.EXE
    Create a shortcut and place it on the desktop/Right Click and Pin to Task bar/Start Menu.
    It is easy to access.
    CR Oracle ODBC Driver 5.3 CONNECT CREATION STEPS
    In ODBC Data Source Administrator  Select CR Oracle ODBC Driver 5.3
    DataSource name: Give any name to identify
    Description:(Optional)
    ServerName: IP ADRESS:PORT NUMBER/ SERVICE NAME
    Eg:   192.168.0.120:1521/orcl
    Client Version: slect the client version From the list
    To know the connection is correct
    Click the button Test Connection
    Provide the username/password(Eg: scott/ tiger)
    Press OK
    Finally Click Apply button. Next OK

    i created a report with Crystal Reports 2008 V1 and will save it on my sap bw system. I have installed the sap integration kit and when i press the SAVE Button in Crystal Reports 2008, i get the Returncode 471. Original message in german: "Fehler beim Speichern und/oder Veröffentlichen. Rückgabecode 471 wurde vom Server zurückgegeben". Anybody knows what to do?

    There might be some dll's missing on your machine while re-installing or uninstalling any of the products.
    SO, it is suggested you to completely remove all the products on the machine and then try to go with   fresh  installation.
