CrystalReportsViewer, Firefox and no toolbars.

I've embedded the CrystalReportsViewer in an asp.net c# web page, and it displays nicely (well, not really "nicely", but you know what I mean, it does the crystal reports "thing") in IE and in Chrome.
In Firefox however the layout is messed up and the toolbars are missing completely.
It's not even a rendering issue, the html simply hasn't been generated.
So, how do I get the toolbars to be rendered in Firefox?
Oh, this is XI r2... I think...

Hmm, I'm driving a Ford... I think...
What is that supposed to mean? You'll have to supply a whole bunches more info. I'd recommend looking at  the [Rules of Engagement|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/wiki?path=/display/HOME/RulesofEngagement]
Step 2 Asking Your Question; Provide Enough Information
and then having a read of the blog [What do I need to do to get the fastest issue resolution?|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/12045].
But for starters, you want to supply
1) The exact version of CR (e.g.; 13.0.2.469 would be exact version of CRVS2010 SP2).
2) Version of .NET
3) OS

  • Each time I open my computer, I get a full screen about Firefox and a toolbar that needs a yes or no answer. How do I get rid of this?

I used to be able to press 1 button to get to my Google Home page, but now that I have downloaded the latest version of Mozilla Firefox, the "home page" is now information about Firefox and at the top of my computer, there is a question about security that needs me to say 'no' each time. I do not want to go through these steps every time I start my system.

  • Firefox and Yahoo toolbar

It seems that I was in a hurry and needed an answer right away. I could get the toolbar but the bookmarks section didn't work. I thought it was Firefox but it was Yahoo. After what those in the know here suggested, myself and others will have to wait on Yahoo to have a fix. After reading the-edmiester post I reread my posts. I must say to tyler, james and others, I apologise .

  • Firefox 3.6.8 crashes when accessing Add-on Manager and Google Toolbar (v 7.1.20100723W) is enabled

Well, as I said, Firefox 3.6.8 crashes when accessing Add-on Manager and Google Toolbar (v 7.1.20100723W) is enabled. This is on a 2010 white unibody macbook. I have a google toolbar, and all of a sudden, it keeps saying that it can't communicate with the toolbar. Now, I can't even uninstall it because whenever I go to the add on manager, it says there's an 'unresponsive script'. Could anyone help me? Thanks.

I fixed it by running in Safe Mode, and uninstalling Personas. Thanks again!

Something happened with Firefox where all that comes up when I open Firefox are my toolbars and a place to enter a URL, but there is no window. I have to enter full screen mode to view websites. How do I get back to a regular browsing window? I have no idea how this even happened.

    Hello,
The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.
Note: ''This will cause you to lose any Extensions, Open websites, and some Preferences.''
To Reset Firefox do the following:
#Go to Firefox > Help > Troubleshooting Information.
    #Click the "Reset Firefox" button.
#Firefox will close and reset. After Firefox is done, it will show a window with the information that is imported. Click Finish.
#Firefox will open with all factory defaults applied.

hello, please go to ''firefox > addons > extensions'' & remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, things that you have not installed intentionally, don't know what purpose they serve, etc).
<br>also go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there.
<br>finally, run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes] & [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner].

  • Certain files contain the current bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar and and could be copied into firefox on another computer. I found these files but they only have my old bookmarks, not my current ones.

In the past, there were certain files in the "Local Settings" and "Application Data" folders that contain my current Bookmarks and current Bookmarks Toolbar contents. I have been able to copy these files to a jumpdrive then use it to bring my CURRENT bookmarks and boomarks toolbar to Firefox on a different computer. When I attempt to do the same now, I get my bookmarks from 2 years ago and nothing at all on my bookmarks toolbar. I have successfully done this as recently as this past February. What happened to them and why can I not do this anymore?
I NEED to have these bookmarks and bookmarks toolbar on my other computers. I do NOT want them uploaded to YOUR servers to be able to do this. The whole reason I use Firefox is to avoid using M$ for the very same reason you are now trying to force on your faithful users. This has been a huge factor for most of us to use Firefox, to get away from IE.

If you have access to Firefox on that computer then export the bookmarks to an HTML file.<br />
Otherwise you need the JSON backups in the bookmarkbackups folder and restore the bookmarks from the most recent JSON backup.<br />
Note that this will replace all current bookmarks, so in order to keep these you need to export them to an HTML file and reimport that file after you have restored the JSON backup.

  • I upgraded to 4.0 Firefox and my Norton's toolbar is gone - how do I get it back?

I need my Norton's toolbar back, please help me. I am type medical transcription from home and am constantly searching for medical terms, medicines, and procedures. I do not go on any website that is not rated from Norton's. How do I get the tool bar back? Thank you for your help.

Symantec need to update their Firefox add-ons so that they are compatible with Firefox 4. They have indicated that for Norton 360 they plan to release an update to Norton 360 to support Firefox 4 in early May - http://us.norton.com/support/kb/web_view.jsp?wv_type=public_web&docurl=20100720113635EN&ln=en_US
I do not know about the time scale for updates for other Norton products. Pending the update by Symantec, if you want to use the Norton add-ons you will need to downgrade to Firefox 3.6.
To downgrade to Firefox 3.6 first uninstall Firefox 4, but do not select the option to "Remove my Firefox personal data". If you select that option it will delete your bookmarks, passwords and other user data.
You can then install the latest version of Firefox 3.6 available from http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html - it will automatically use your current bookmarks, passwords etc.
To avoid possible problems with downgrading, I recommend going to your profile folder and deleting the following files if they exist - extensions.cache, extensions.rdf, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite and localstore.rdf. Deleting these files will force Firefox to rebuild the list of installed extensions, checking their compatibility, and reset toolbar customizations.
For details of how to find your profile folder see https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Profiles

  • Start Firefox and homepage is not displayed; cannot navigate back to previously viewed pages using back or forward arrows; bookmarks toolbar not available on start-up though selected in options menu.

    1. Start firefox and my homepage is not displayed--there is no webpage displayed on initial startup. A homepage is listed in the options menu. In order to see homepage I need to manually press the home icon to the right of the search box.
    2. I am not capable of using the navigation arrows to the left of the address bar to navigate to previously viewed webpages. The arrows are present but are gray. Is there a setting in the security tab of the options menu that disables the navigation arrows for security purposes (i.e. not remembering webpages or cookies, etc.)?
    3. Though the bookmark toolbar is selected in the options menu, the bookmarks toolbar is not visible when starting firefox. Instead there is a red firefox toolbar located at the upper left of the screen. In order to view the bookmarks toolbar I need to go into the options menu and de-select the bookmarks toolbar (causes the red firefox toolbar to disappear) and then re-select the bookmarks toolbar.
Any information to help correct these issues is greatly appreciated.
    Mike

''framerotblues'' suggestion worked for me. I was having the following problems after 10.0 update:
    >No back/forward buttons.
    >Nothing in address bar.
    >Bookmark toolbar would not automatically load. Even though it was checked as a toolbar to view, I had to uncheck and check it again every time I closed/opened Firefox.
    >Could not access add-ons. Neither through menu toolbar nor using ctrl-shift-a
Restarted Firefox with add-ons disabled (help->restart with add-ons disabled). Removed ''Facebook Disconnect'' from add-ons. Restarted and everything seems to be working.

  • Updated Firefox and lost all toolbars, Hotmail, EVERYTHING!! How do I fix this?

Updated Firefox last evening. Got up this morning to a whole new page on the computer. Clicked on Firefox and got a blank page with just a Firefox logo and a Google search line. There are no toolbars for me to use to get to my e mail, pictures or other data.
I clicked on the introductory and info arrows and it keeps telling me to click on the tool bar....there isn't one. How do I get my programs back? Where is my tool bar? I see a lot of other complaints like this, so this problem should have been fixed BEFORE you offered the update.
I want my original opening page and tool bar and my Hotmail back. PLEASE!

Set the pref <b>browser.tabs.insertRelatedAfterCurrent</b> to <i>false</i> on the <b>about:config</b> page.
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • Menu and Bookmark toolbars are missing upon restart of Firefox, although they are recoverable by left clicking on remaining toolbar. V31 and Windows 7.

As question states, the menu toolbar and bookmark toolbars are missing upon restart.
Both are fully recoverable as customized, but then disappear again upon restart.

    I deleted the localstore.rdf.
But, I usually run Norton's Utilities 2012 "clean disk" upon closing down computer. The problem is something Norton is doing.
Firefox is storing my configuration/profile related to showing the two toolbars in some fashion (perhaps as a temp file), that Norton is erasing it.
Norton isn't deleting the customization/uniqueness of the toolbars.
Just that they don't show upon restarting.
There is probably a way for Firefox to store this "permanently".
Thanks for the help so far. The fix may not be something Firefox can do.

i keep getting reminders to update to firefox 5 but i will not update until firefox supports avast! and freecorder toolbar. when will these programs be suported?

You have is backwards, those add-ons need to support Firefox 5.0.
You can look at the new pre-release version of Avast for Firefox 5.

Sorry, the Freecorder Toolbar website is down for maintenance right now. <br />http://www.applian.com/index.html <br />
