which I have followed carefully the CrystalReportViewer fails to display.
I have used reports with saved data and one which I have a connection to a database. I connected to the database using ApplyLogInInfo with good and bad credentials. With bad I received a login page with good credentials nothing. I can set a tooltip hint and/or color the background and the web page shows me the correct tooltip and/or color. BUT NO REPORT not the tool bar etc. as RDC used to.
I have used Crystal Reports from version 6 and Delphi from version 3.
I tried CrystalReportViewer.ReportSource=MyReport.rpt as well as using ReportDocument.
This is extremely frustrating as I know almost everything is correct.
I use two browsers Firefox and IE8 and javascript is enabled.
I will try a second machine next but after 8 hours of surging and making changes I thought I would try this forum.
I did check the assemblies they are 12.0.2000.0

The article Crystal Reports for Delphi Support missed an important point.
Everything is okay except the viewer does not diaplay. Why
bobj is undefined. Google it and
the crystalreprtviewer12 directory is not found by IIS.
This is a development machine with CR2008 [licensed and paid for] installed.
I should not need to spend so much time looking for trivia like this.
Although so much money is spent on developing better software maybe a little more money and time should be invested in technical writing!! It seems more and more rare to follow an article through without a hiccup.
I still love Crystal Reports.

Does Solution Manager support Service Report for non-abap?

Does Solution Manager support Service Report for non-abap?
We can schedule and view reports for ABAP but for all the non-ABAP such as J2EE stack (PORTAL) we can not pull out a report.
If the answer is yes please let me know where I can get the documentation of how to setup SLA for PORTAL or non-ABAP.

i stronly believe one of the pre-requiste to get sla is EWA.
so i think if u can setup ewa for portal then you can get sla too.

I think it does.
However please check this
In some countries, you cannot use the general program for tax returns to create the annual tax return because of specific national reporting requirements. For these countries, SAP delivers additional country-specific programs to meet these reporting requirements.
For the individual country-specific reports, see the General Ledger menu under Reporting ® Tax Reports.
The program RFUSVX10 performs the data medium exchange, allowing you to transfer the DME file to a hard drive or diskette. You can find more information on this topic in the program documentation.

DB2 support for Crystal Reports for Enterprise And Unx errors

Hi,
I have a requirement to create a report in CrystalReports for Enterprise 4 sourcing data from Oracle 11 and IBM DB2 V9 databases. My first approach is to create relational connections for both the databases in the BO Repository (using Universe designer) and use them directley in the CR for Enterprise. Here I was able to create the two connections but unable to use the DB2 connnection in the report. I get the below error:
"The Database DB2V9 is not supported".
Is DB2 is a supported database for Crystal reports for Enterprise ??
My second approach is to create a multisource universe using IDT. Here when I try to create the Datafoundation layer, I get to see the tables from the DB2 databasae but When I expand the Oracle connection, I get this error: "conversion from UTF8 to charset failed: encoding not loaded".
Im unable to create a multisource universe at all no matter what connections I use.
Here is some additional info:
SAP BI4.1 SP1
Windows 2008 R2 servers
Oracle 11g
IBM DB2 V9.7
Any suggestions please!

Hi,
First of all I would strongly advice you to only use IDT for your universe development. The old Universe Designer is a legacy tool and should not be used unless you are using products that doesn't support IDT universes.
The issue you are facing for your Oracle connection is likely caused by a missing path variable.
Add "C:\Program Files (x86)\SAP BusinessObjects\SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise XI 4.0\win64_x64" to the PATH environment variables on the SAP Business Objects Enterprise server.
Restart the SIA
NOTE: Modify the path in case the SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise is installed in different folder.

WebElements: Support planned for Crystal Reports for Enterprise?

Currently only Crystal Reports 2011 is supported with WebElements 2.47. Is there a plan to support Crystal Reports for Enterprise in the future? Or are there technical obstacles which prohibit this "by design"?

hi Raphael,
crystal reports for enterprise on bi 4.0 will not support webelements as it does not have support for custom functions. webelements is built with custom functions. there are most likely other limitations with crystal reports for enterprise that will disallow using webelements.
this should not really affect anyone that's using webelements unless they really want to use the new semantic layer / universe.
given that you could probably still build your reports that contain webelements with crystal reports 2011 and call anything built with cr for enterprise. the best practise for webelements is to create a container report with all of the webelements controls and then call the target in an iframe or in a new tab or window.

Deleted Items Appearing on the FBL3n Report for Open Items

Hi All
We just went live and I am facing a huge issue;
I deleted many migration entries from loads of GL Accounts for multiple Co Codes, but on the FBL3n report, whenI execute with the option of 'Open Items' only, I still see the deleted items with a green check sitting there.
How can i get those from being visible?

Hi:
This is standard behavior. Your GL accounts are managed on line item basis hence despite of the fact you reversed the entries they will continue to be shown in open item selection criteria which in fact are not open items. It makes no sense to see a GL account in FBL3N on open item date since this account has been configured on the basis on line item management and i will continue to be shown as line item with green sign . Execute report FBL3N with open item or with all item (with date you give in open item) you will see the same figures and same line items. However you can exclude the reversed entries by fetching reversed with (BKPF-STBLG) field from menu ..settings...special fields and hence excluding the entries having this filed update.

I need the Log Report for the Data which i am uploading from SAP R/3.
I extract the DATA from R/3 into BI 7.0 DSO where I am mapping the GL Accounts with the FS Item. In the Transformation i have return a routine on the FS Item InfObject . I am checking the Gl code into Z table for the FS Item .
I capture the FS item from the Z table then update this FS item to Infobject FS item.
Now i need to stop the Data upload if i do not find the GL code in the Z table, and generate report for all GL code for which the FS item is not maintained in the Z table.
Please suggest.

Hi.
Add a field that you will use to identify if the GL account of the record was found in the Z table or not. Fx, create ZFOUND with length 1 and no text.
In your routine, when you do the lookup, populate ZFOUND with X when you found a match (sy-subrc = 0) and leave it blank if you don't find a match. Now create a report filtering on ZFOUND = <blank> and output the GL accounts. Those will be the ones not existing in the Z table, but coming in from your transactions.

I think you may have pasted the wrong thing into the Description.
To try and resubmit a pending report (for example if you lost your internet connection):
#Go to about:crashes in the location bar
#Click the latest report link to resubmit it
If there isn't a pending crash report listed, I'm afraid you may be out of luck for that crash report.

Correct, the data that is stored in Essbase will be the same regardless of which connection type you use.
Data that is only stored in Planning can only be retrieved using a Planning connection. This includes Supporting Detail and SmartLists as these are stored in the Planning relational database.
As a general rule I always use an Essbase connection unless i specifically want to get supporting detail or smartlists but that is just me.

You can well run these reports on background..
Go to SE38 Enter the program name "J_1HSTCD"
Then press Execute / F8.
Enter you selection date as 01.09.2009 to 31.09.2010 and enter the plant and leave the all selection as per SAP standard..
Then press F9 or Go to Program

Report for PO price more than standard cost

We are currently without MM support at our plant, so I hope some one of you can help me.
The new supply chain director want a report of POs that are placed where the PO price is not equal to the standard and will thus generate a price variance upon receipt.
Query would be tough due to Unit of purchase vs MatMstr unit of measure. I'm hoping for a standard report?
The buyer does get a warning that the two are not equal, but they enter through them. Is there a report of warnings issues??

There is not such stadard report for this but you can check the PO price in ME80FN.
But for comparison and the diff report you have to have right the Query using
EKKO, EKPO and MBEW table
and the UOM you need to select the Order unit of the PO.

Crystal Reports for B1 on Hana version 9.0, Invalid column name DOCCODE

I am new to SAP B1 for HANA, now I am learning how to use Crystal Report with SAP Business one for HANA version 9.0. I am facing this issue while trying to save the crystal report inside SAP B1 for hana. Please help me to fix the issue
The steps that I followed
1.created the Blank Crystal report file
2.imported that into layout manager
3.Then tried to edit the file using Crystal report 2011 sp4
4.For testing, I have used the Query SELECT * FROM SBODEMOSG.OCRD. In Crystal report i am able to get the data
5.But while trying the Save the report inside sap using Add-ins-->Save as option, im getting the following error message.

Business One is an OEM version of CR Designer.
Log onto your B1 site and download the latest Crystal Reports for B1. CR XI does not support the new connector.
