CS 10.1.2 for Windows - production release date?

CS 10.1.2 for Windows - production release date?

No. Even if there was some news Product Management usually does not confirm in the forums if and when a specific release will be available.
My guideline is: It's there when it's there.

Unable to install Remote Server Administration Tools for Windows 8 Release Preview on RTM 8 Enterprise
    Standalone installer available here
    http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28972
    fails with error code 0x80004005
Is this because my installation has issues, or would the admin pack files be updated for RTM?
Thank you in advance for any insight

    Found the solution here:
    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itprogeneral/thread/6d8745e0-c4c1-463a-b4bb-09f6c9c22527
    Workaround:
Download the RSAT package intended for Windows 8 Release Preview: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=28972
Extract the .msu file with a tool such as 7-Zip.
Open an Admin command prompt and change directory to where you extracted the .msu.
Run the following command to install (if x86 you probably have a different .xml filename): pkgmgr /n:Windows6.2-KB2693643-x64.xml
Wait a while. You can look in task manager for pkgmgr. When it disappears, the installation is done.
Use the tools as per usual.

  • Product Release Date being default set to 01-Jan-2000 when exporting and importing product file

    Hi there,
Just putting this out there to see if anyone else has experienced this problem.
    We've just redeveloped an art site that relies on the product release date to order work, newest first, by the date they added it  {tag_productlist,,,20,releasedate,true,true}
However, we've hit an issue whereby the 'release date' field is set to 01-Jan-2000 when we export and then import the product file, thus chnaging the ordering. The date can't be set on the import file (unlike web apps) and we haven't changed thousands of products manually. BC support have been stumped, suggesting it's our Mac's system date, but this is set automatically and accurate...and we don't want to change the release date anyway, that should just be the date the product was originally released.
Any thoughts or help would be greatfully received as this was a key part of the site design/development. This is the site http://hanguppictures.com
    Cheers
    Paul

Ran into the same issue. I was using the release date to flag latest products, regardless of ordering. Unfortunately running a product import then destroyed all that work.
Found this thread with a staff reponse regarding it not being possible to set release dates using import, but it doesn't explain why release dates get reset.

  • When will 3.6 for Windows be released

The website said 3.6 for Windows would be avialable in the Spring of 2005. Spring has come and gone, and 3.6 wasn't released.
Does anyone know when it will be released?

    Hi Preston,
Sorry for the lack of updates on the MQ 3.6 on Win schedule. We are very close to releasing it, and we expect to make it available end of July 2005.
    Thanks for your patience.
Will try to get your MQ 3.5 sp2 issues addressed that were posted on a different thread.

  • Prompted for Windows product key after FBReseal.exe

    Greetings,
With the EOL of Windows XP fast approaching, we are planning to deploy POSReady 2009 to several cash registers.  My plan is to install the POSReady 2009 Ghost image provided by our vender/OEM, make our site specific modifications, then run fbreseal
and create a new image for deployment.  My problem is that after I run fbreseal (and then simply reboot the register as a test) the setup wizard asks me for a Windows product key (which I don't have and can't get because OEMs can not give it to customers).
I thought that the entire purpose of fbreseal was for cases like this when you do not have a Windows product key?  What am I missing?  Is there a hidden switch I should be using with FBReseal?
    Thanks,
    Dasani

I had found/read the document... I guess the fourth paragraph had led me to believe that FBReseal would not ask for the product key:
"Sysprep is useful in scenarios when you have access to your POSReady product key, and also provides additional customizing functionality over FBReseal. FBReseal does not require a product key, but it does not have as many features as Sysprep, and it can
only be run one time. If you do not have access to your POSReady product key, you must use FBReseal."
When I apply the Ghost image from the vender and start the register I get the following prompts:
    - Welcome Screen
    - I have to accept the license agreement
    - Choose regional/language options
    - Define my name/organization
    - Define computer name and administrator password
When I FBReseal it and then restart, I get the exact same prompts EXCEPT after I define my name and organization it asks for the Windows product key.
I suspect the vender did not prepare our Ghost image properly, it appears that they may have ran FBReseal.  Based on the POSReady 2009 deployment guide, this should not be done:
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/dd936220(v=winembedded.0).aspx
"The product ID (PID) that is required to license the OS is only available to an OEM. End users receive a fully installed OS that can be customized. It is important to understand the state of the POSReady OS that you receive from your OEM. The original installation
of POSReady must be prepared by the OEM by using the Sysprep utility. This will put the OS image in a state that is ready to be customized and cloned. The OEM must not use FBReseal to prepare the computer for cloning. The suggested cloning method, which uses
Windows Deployment Services, will only recognize a device that has had a full Sysprep pass. The OEM will likely provide two sets of media to aid in the POSReady customization process:"
Anyway, since the vender I'm working with is slow.... it appears I may have no choice but use their Ghost image and then apply all of our customizations to each and every register.
    Thanks,
    Dasani

  • Making a bootable USB Drive for Windows 8 Release Candidate; How To?

    Hello everyone,
I am in the process of building a Windows PC and I need to make a bootable USB Thumb Drive to Install the Windows 8 Release Candidate on. The only problem is when I go into the restore section of Disk Utility it always comes up with either of these errors:
    Thanks in advance,
    Sean.

I have created PC bootable USB's on Mac OS X before but I am having trouble finding the instructions to duplicate that.  It's been a while.  It's not impossible though.

  • Is forecasted upscaling to HD in Apple TV for future product releases?

All new market products like Bluray players are upscaling to Full HD and this feature it's a must for a product like this.
    Thank you

Apple TV is streaming is in 1080p only when the movie quality is in 1080p.
The pourpose of the upscaling is to have the benefit of watching a movie in 1080p even when the movie you are playing has a low resolution or DVD quality.

  • Production Release Date?

Does anyone know when the first production release of Spry is
expected? We would like to use it but are constrained to only allow
"production" code on our servers :-)
    Any information would be appreciated.

    Hi,
    The current thinking is this:
We preview a big set of our new functionality next month.
Then we polish that for 6-8 weeks and do a pre-release of
    that as Spry 1.5.
Then we bug fix that full existing set of Spry code and
release that as our first Gold release.
I loath to give exact dates, but that puts us at early
    summer.
We have lots of new features for 1.5 and we are taking time
to get them right. I talked about some of the features in my latest
    Spry blog post.
    Hope this helps,

  • Quicktime Pro 7.7 for Windows 7 mp4 data cap

I work for the video department of a magazine publishing company. At work, we use Macs and Quicktime Pro 7.7. We use Quicktime to export our files from .movs to .mp4s using the H.264 video format.
Unfortunately at home, I am stuck with a PC and Windows 7 (purchased before I converted). I bought Quicktime Pro 7.7 for Windows yesterday for converting my files to .mp4s. Unfortunately, I found that the Windows 7 version caps the data rate at 32768kb/sec.
As seen elsewhere online, some clients ask for a data rate of 35000 or even higher, and Quicktime Pro accomodates this on Macs. Is there any way to get around this cap with Quicktime Pro for Windows?
    Thanks,
    Jason

  • June 10,2010 lens profile creator p2 for windows still release 1

using the ruler tool puts the value
in the Screen Dimension box, but when you click away to the next group, then come back, it still has the default value.

The series did not have the highlights. This was just a flashed image to show that I had the right parameters.
I reran the series as jpegs and had the same problem.
I'll redo the whole series tomorrow.
I did the demo sample series and they worked OK, so I'll reread the docs, and try reshooting.

  • Ask Intronis: How to prepare my MSP business for Windows 10 release

When cloud vendors turn their eyes to China, they see a huge market, but don't expect China to simply cede the market to western technology giants. It plans to compete in its own right in a big way. Just this week, according to a report in the Taiwanese publication WantChinaTimes, the Chinese are working hard to encourage a domestic cloud business. What's more, there is some feeling in China, according to that article, that it can compete because it believes the western market is really just starting too.

  • Electronic Arts: Need For Speed Undercover Release Date.

When is Need For Speed Undercover coming out?!?!?!?!
EA said november then December then... January and the early March. Well EA it's early April.
    Do any of you know?

We don't know. EA may have canceled it. They now say September 2009. But I doubt this game will ever be released in the App Store. EA has not been doing a good job with games latly and have laid off some of their workers.

  • Quicken Essentials for Mac 2010 - Release date confirmed.

I spoke with Quicken support this morning and they informed me that this new version for Mac will be available for Purchase/Download on Feb 22, 2010.
For those who have "Pre-Ordered" a confirming email will be sent.

We are users the same as you in others words we wouldn't know anything about an Intuit product before you. I would suggest you visit a Intuit forum to see if there any new news about Quicken 2010.
