CS 3 not accepting valid Serial #

I had to reinstall Acrobat 8 and used my original install disks.
I was in fact able to get a working copy of Acrobat 8 Professional installed and working on my machine.
However, in the process of this installation, ALL of my Creative Suite Applications were reinstalled.
As bad as that was (loss of customizations, site definitions in DW, etc.), the HUGE problem is that
no matter what I do, I cannot get any of the programs to accept my serial number as valid.
I'm runnig a G5 10.5.8 on a PPC   (otherwise, I'd have CS5 installed)
Any help woiuld be greatly appreciated.

In earlier versions of the CS suite there may have been different serial numbers for Acrobat as opposed to the Suite itself. If you registered your software on the Adobe website you should be able to look up your serial number. If you have been putting in the correct serial number, then you can try using the following tool to see if it helps:
