CS 5.5 Design Premium invalid key

Hi All
I want to transfer the CS 5.5 Design Premium from my old XP to new Windows 8.1
I lost the disc but kept the key. I download back the installation program from here:
Download CS5.5 products
But I get invalid key error right after inputting the key. What's wrong ? I have already deactivated the key in my old XP.
Hope someone can help me

Can I download Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium on a new Mac if I've had it installed on my old one since December 2011? I have the product key and serial number.

I bought a new Macbook Pro 13 inch in December 2011 and I bought the Adobe Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium shortly after and installed it on the computer. The other day my friend spilled his drink on my computer and it is now going to cost me $800 to get it fixed so I am considering getting a new one instead of getting mine fixed I'm not sure if the memory is still ok or not either. It didn't get that wet and Apple told me it is more than likely ok but there is no guarantee that they are going to keep the memory when they fix it. So I was wondering if I get a new one if I can install the Suite on the new one I still have the product key and serial number for the Suite. Or if I decide to get mine fixed and the memory is swept, then can I reinstall it on mine after it is fixed? If anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated!!! Thank You

deactivate your installation on your old computer (help>deactivate).

Serial Key not working for Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium

I have the serial key for my Adobe Creative Suite 5 Design Premium that I bought in 2011 on my account page. However, when I put the serial number in the installer, it says "This serial number is not valid for this product."
I just want access to the product I bought. Can anybody help me?

Are you definitely installing Design Premium CS5, not a similar sounding Creative Suite? And not CS5.5?

CS4 Design Premium key works off DVD but not Harddrive

I have an Educational Site license for Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium.
If I put in the DVD's and run setup.exe it "checks" my Serial Key and accepts it.
If I copy the 2 DVD's to the D:\Server share and run setup.exe based on the network deployment instructions it says my Serial Key isn't Valid???
(all copied from F:) "E:\Installs\AdobeMacromedia\Adobe Creative Suite 4\Adobe CS4\Setup.exe " --record=1 Gives a Serial Key isn't Valid
(DVD Drive) F:\Adobe CS4\Setup.exe --record=1 works fine.
I am a little baffled.
Does anyone know where it looks to validate the serial number?
I do have a Site license for CS3 Web that is installed find and Adobe CS5 Standard and they both worked just fine.
We are upgrading our web portion to CS4 but keeping the CS5 for Illustrator/Indesign and Photoshop.
It doesn't seem to matter though even if I have nothing installed on the workstation.

You may still have remnants of Photoshop on your computer. Use the Adobe Cleaner tool, then try again:

Serial number provided from Adobe comes up invalid for Creative suite Design Premium S&T

Hello can you please help. After going through the process of receiving a serial number for my Adobe Student and Teacher edition of Creative Suite 5 Design Premium Mac OS (to use in the UK) I am getting an invalid error trying to activate it. My Computer system is Mac OS X 10.68 and I am not sure what to do now. Their are no letters within the serial number and have only recently been issued with it so im at a bit of a dead end here.

You need to talk to/ chat with support via web or phone. Nobody can do anything about serial number issues here, much less on a weekend.

just recently my cs5 design premium tells me i need to deactivate my other 2 computers im using my key on to use my suite.
I have installed this on 1 pc prior to my current and i HAVE deactivated it?

Nobody here can help you with this. You'll need to contact Adobe directly.

I have pulled from the registry the serial for CS5.5 Design Premium, and deactivated it, afterwads uninstalled it and now trying to reisntall and it says it is invalid however this is the working serial

Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium trial version says my serial number is invalid?

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 4 Design Premium from my my community college's bookstore in 2010. I successfully have used it all this time, but I recently bought a new laptop. This new laptop does not have a disk drive, but I was able to download the trial version of it online. It downloaded great, and I have been using the trial version, but the trial is up in one week. I deactivated my serial number on my old laptop, and then tried to enter it onto my new laptop, but the error message keeps saying "Incorrect Serial Number": "The serial number you entered is not valid." However, the serial number is definitely valid, and I spoke with Adobe and they just checked and were able to see that I do have an activation available for this serial number. Why won't it accept it?
Side Notes:
The licensing is Student Licensing
I downloaded the correct creative suite (Creative Suite 4 Design Premium)
I typed in the serial number correctly and checked multiple times
I cannot afford to purchase an updated version nor Adobe Creative Cloud at this time

Same thing happened to me, except I lost disk 2 and was told to go to the forums.. Seems Adobe isn't too great on their customer service or fixing issues. The problem I was told, was that we have "Student" serials and the one from the download isnt a student version.

Hi Rich,
The cause of this can be multiple. First of all be sure you use the original CD + serial. In case of a download same story. Try to find out if the installed version match the language of the serial (they need to match). Last but not least: Check if you use a upgrade version, if so it might be needed to fill 2 serials.

Unfortunately that option is not possible.
You cannot upgrade a Creative Suite to a standalone product.
Creative Suites can only be upgrades to other Creative Suites.
You'll need to return Photoshop CS6 upgrade since you cannot use it.
Return, cancel, or exchange an Adobe order
Some options:
Buy a Creative Suite upgrade, or
Buy a full new copy of Photoshop CS6, or
Join the Cloud
