CS 5.5 design standard package stuck on a broken mac

My CS5.5 design standard package is installed on an imac and on an old broken Imac.
Now i want to install the package again on my new macbook.
Is that possible?

Recently, I asked about the possibility to swap from windows to mac with Adobe Design Standard CS5.5. In response, I was directed to the help page and i know that it is possible. But today I see that the help page is out of date.
How cann I now swap platforms for Adobe Design Standard CS5.5? Do I realy need to buy CS6? Or afer dowloading the mac version of CS5.5 I get the key. And if I realy need upgreade the CS5.5 cann I use the Mac version of CS6 for the dowloaded mac version of CS5.5? Is it possible?

I didn't know that I cann buy CS6 Mac upgrade in Adobe Store.
So I have only to buy the CS6 Mac versions and upgrade CS5.5 Win to CS6 Mac?
How does look the procedure?
Do I need to install first the CS5.5 Mac on my Macbook and then upgrade it or is it not necessary?

Adobe can not validate the serial number for CS6 Design Standard. What goes wrong?

After purchasing and downloading and installing the CS6 Design Standard package serial number is requested,. After completing the SN (as sent) I get the following message: "We can not validate this serial CS6 Design Standard". What am I doing wrong

That entries are blocking the product to reach Adobe servers.
Move your hosts file to desktop and open it from there.
Then remove entries like " 127.0.0.1 lm.licenses.adobe.com " ( There should not be any Adobe related entries )
Once you have removed, close hosts window.
The drag the file back to etc folder and replace it with original hosts file.. ( open hosts once again and confirm there are no adobe entries.
Then try.

Is CS 6 Design Standard available as a trial? It doesn't come up in Download Assistant...

I can't seem to find CS6 Design Standard on the Download Assistant. There's Design and Web premium and Master Collection, but I think I intend to buy the Design Standard package so would like to just install that. The web page (http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=design_standard&loc=ar_ae) implies that there is, but then that doesn't match with the Download Assistant.

You need to initiate the download from the trial page you indiciated. Once you sign into the Adobe Download Assistant it will then begin your download.
Alternately you can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download.

I am already running Photoshop CS3. I recently bought the design standard package. I would like to install it on the same workstation. I was wondering, Since my current CS3 is alread registered do I load Design Standard CS3 and just not choose Photoshop CS3 at the beginning of the Design Standard install process? Will I be able to use my Design Standard serial number to register the product and have it not effect my existing registered version of Photoshop CS3?

You placed your incomplete problem statement as the title rather than as the content of your posting and it got cut off.
Your CS3 Design Standard serial number is only valid for the CS3 Design Standard package of software. You cannoit download individual components of it and use the serial number for them. You need to install them thru the Suite.

Upgrade from Design Standard to Production Premium

the company I am working at is thinking about an upgrade from the Design Standard CS 5.5 to the Production Premium CS6.
My question now is: When we upgrade is it still possible to use InDesign CS 5.5?? Or will the licence change completly to Production Premium that it wont be possible to active InDesign ot the Design Standard package??

Thanks for your answer. That I can install CS5.5 und CS6 I was aware. The problem I saw was that the Production Premium doesn't include Indesign and that I will lose the the programm after the upgrade.

Promblems installing the CS5.5 design standard after having used the 30day trial version of Indesing

I have downloaded & used the 30 day trial version of Indesign, and subsequently, I've bought the CS5.5 design standard.
The trial version installed in my computer asks for the serial no. to continue using of the product.
When I type the serial no. from my CS5.5 design standard package, I get a yellow triangle saying the serial no. is not valid for the product.
What should I do to fix this?
Must I uninstall the trial version and then install the CS5.5 design standard cd's? Is there a way to avoid this?

I bought the Creative Suite 6 Design Standard Version for students and teachers (MAC) five days ago. Download had been succesfull. But when I enter the serialnumber, there comes the error message:
"The serialnumber is unverifable. Please apply to support."

CS5 upgrade says on packaging that CS5 Design Standard is a qualifying product, but the installer will not complete the upgrade. How do I get the the installer to complete the upgrade?

When I enter the license key for a CS5 Design Standard Upgrade on a Mac with CS5 Design Standard installed and licensed, the installer says that there are no qualifying products installed to be upgraded.

It does seem rather like that. However, the box copy of CS5DS Upg that I am holding also states that "you must have one of the following: Adobe Creative Suite 5 - Design Standard" on the packaging.
If I am trying to upgrade CS5DS with CS5DS, it is partly because Adobe is suggesting that it makes sense to upgrade to an identical product. Hence my confusion when the install failed.

I was opening Illustrator in CS4 design standard. Odd too, because the error comes up with it showing missing plugins from Photoshop. I opened Photoshop first, then Illustrator to see if it changed anything. Yes, One of the two error messages for a plugin was gone.
To remove apps I went to the Adobe website to redownload my standard CS4 and chose "uninstall".. So I did. Restarts x 2 . Then Reopening illustrator...same thing again. Restarted, then went to Disky Utlity and cleaned up something off of it as per a internet suggestion...Sorry, it's been a long day alreay. Not me removing anything, just allowing it to do that with repairing.
The version of Mac OS is YOSEMITE 10.10.2 .
I recently updated!!! oooh nooooo! (every watch Mr. Bill on SNL?) so if the updated OS is the culprit, do I have to go back to older version for my apps to work? I never realized how very much I use Illustrator. I know there are extensions I could go through one at a time....seriously I am overwhelmed with some life events that make this computer dilema almost too much of a challenge for me at this time..I am truly grateful for your help.
