CS 5.5 System check

Hello everyone,
Before I commit to buying adobe software, I thought I'd better see if my system is ok. All I want to do is build simple websites with DW, create graphics and maybe use indesign for publications, so nothing too serious. I really want to get CS 5.5 MC though so based on that I wonder if someone could either give me a thumbs up or maybe not? I have a very limited and basic system I know...

Win 7 64bit
2GB sdram (4 is better and i can get more, up to 8GB I think)
500gb HD / 7200rpm

P.s. I'm not looking to use aplications all at once, or use it 8hrs every day. Just simple stuff

Get the RAM up to 8 gigs and you should be okay. Don't count on screaming performance with the video apps, though.

The user name or password is incorrect in the CRM system checks during installation

Hi everyone
I'm installing CRM 2013 on 2 servers (server 2012) - CRM Full server + SQL Server 2012.
I created 2 service accounts for this - CRMSVC + CRMSANDBOX (one for sandbox and another one for all the rest).
I'm getting the following error in the system checks during setup:
I've verified a billion times that the service accounts and passwords are valid - I even tried using different service accounts - same problem. As for now I also added the service accounts to the local admins groups just to be sure that it's not some permissions
issue (I also added them to the 'log on as service' & performance logs groups).
If i try to use NETWORK SERVICES instead of a service account - the installation goes through flawlessly - no issues at all.
I'm also gonna say that i tried another installation on a fresh server - SAME ISSUE.
So for now my ideas are either it's a GPO somehow blocking the service accounts - or some kind of other security issue.
I also found out that the security event log shows these two errors when these show up in the system checks:
Inside i found 'NULL SID' entry - it does not recognize the service accounts account and 0xC0000064 in the Sub
Status Codes
It's not a typo issue so don't bother - if i write a wrong password in purpose - it actually says that the password i typed for domain\service account is incorrect - here it seems that the service account is not being recognized.
Any ideas anyone?

Not sure you understood my point.
The installation process necessarily runs under the account of the installing user. The installation will query AD to identify information about the service accounts, and will add them to the relevant CRM AD groups. It is possible that the installing user
account does not have sufficient privileges on the AD objects for the service accounts to be able to identify them, and to add them to groups. This scenario is consistent with the errors that you get, and also with being able to install CRM to run under NetworkServices
(which doesn't have its own AD object)

I understand this, but as far as i know running it under NETWORK SERVICES will add the machine names to the OU security groups - hence the user installing still needs to have delegated permissions on that OU. Anyway as mentioned above - ignoring the checks
and running the installation solved this and also added the accounts to the security groups - so this whole mess looks like some bug to me - not sure i will ever find out what it was :)

Trying to load CS3 Design Premium on a new machine; it's blocked by system check.

I'm trying to load CS3 Design Premium on a new laptop. The system check is preventing InDesign from loading. It inaccurately indicates I don't have great enough resolution. Does anyone have a workaround?
I have a PC running Windows 7 OS.
I've done the following:
Adjusted the resolution to maximum resolution and also to the value Adobe recommends. Both without success.
Used Adobe cleaner, restarted, and tried to reload. No luck. InDesign and Illustrator are still prevented from loading due to resolution ((1024 X 768).
Ideas, tips, and workarounds appreciated!

I've installed it on two CS3 win 7 machines with wide-screens without incident. Are you running the installer from disk or a download? The CS3 installers was pretty finicky, as I recall, and you may need to perform a "clean boot" to get it to work. Serial Number validation during Delivery Creation itself(PGI-system checks)

Process:
Sales Order PR(Purchase Order) GR( New Serial Numbers are created automatically or manually keyed in)
Once the Goods Receipt is received, we do the (SO) DELIVERYu2014SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT Post Goods Issue
Issue:
Current Serial Number Profile Management does not do a valid serial number check during DELIVERY CREATION where we do a SERIAL NUMBER ASSIGNMENT.
Only during POST GOODS ISSUE, the check happens for valid serial numbers; this is too late in the game for business as there is a time lag of 3 days from the DELIVERY CREATION and PGI.
Reason being--- We donu2019t check the following u201C Existing Stock Checku201D( which does a serial number validation during delivery creation as well)
SPRO>Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Master Data in Plant Maintenance and Customer Service>Technical Objects>Serial Number Management>Define Serial Number Profiles
If we check this option, the business requirement to do a valid serial number check does happen during delivery creation, however we cannot create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- GOODS RECEIPT.
QUESTION:
Can we have the system check the valid serial numbers from stock during delivery creation and serial number assignment.
And Also create new serial numbers during Purchase Order- Goods Receipt.

1.In std SAP its not possible to check the serail number during Delivery creation, through enhancement it can be done.
2.During GR for PO serial numbers can be created.

Pay Cycle Manager system check payments with Financial Gateway?

Can PeopleSoft Payables Pay Cycle Manager be used to system check payment information Financial Gateway? Per PBooks "The Pay Cycle Manager only settles payments of EFT, ACH, and WIR payment methods through PeopleSoft Financial Gateway." However, can the process be configured or modified in some way to also accommodate system checks?
The client is not producing system checks from PeopleSoft Payables but, rather, using a 3rd-party application (MHC) to administer system check printing, ACH and credit card payments, and 1099 reporting. The desire to define those system check payments administered via MHC as system checks in PeopleSoft, although truly none are being produced from within PeopleSoft.
By leveraging the Payment Request process payment information is created that can not only be sent to MHC but any target system that also requires payment information. A number of other internal systems also require this information and my intent is to use the data that is staged in Financial Gateway as a standard data structure for any target system which requires the data. However, as mentioned above, the payment information needs to include all payment methods, including system checks.
Please advise. Any recommendations or alternative approaches are appreciated :-)

Encryption Fails during System Check

I am doing an enterprise rollout of Bitlocker and out of the thousands that have been prompted and successfully encrypted, I have two that fail during the system check. (Power Cable and CD/DVD). Bitlocker thinks that there is a disc in the drive, when
there is nothing in the drive (no mounted ISO either). I have at least 1000 more that have yet to be encrypted, so it is likely that I will bump into this again. I can't find anything in the Service & App logs that explain what is happening.
Does anyone have a solution to this???

In the article "BitLocker Drive Encryption in Windows 7: Frequently Asked Questions" under the heading 'What causes BitLocker to start into recovery mode when attempting to start
the operating system drive?' one of the items listed is:
Having the CD or DVD drive before the hard drive in the BIOS boot order and then inserting or removing a CD or DVD.
There are other things on that list that may be related.

Setup system check says internet explorer is open when it's not

When I get to the setup screen (for the trial version of Illustrator), the first thing is system check. It says my internet explorer is open, and it's not. I've closed all programs that use internet including all of my antivirus and spyware, my vista sidebar, etc. I've opened task manager, gone into processes and tried to end the internet processes but they show up a second later. They just won't close! I've messed with my automatic startup programs, and that didn't work either. I've taken my ethernet cable out and tried that. Nothing works. Anybody know what's going on?

Does the performance tab of Task Manager show abnormally high CPU usage even when you have nothing running?
You might have some piece of malware doing nasty stuff. What's showing up as iexplore.exe in Task Manager is probably not Internet Explorer at all.
Update all your antivirus and spyware definitions and run thorough scans.
Do a Google search with keyphrase 'internet explorer constantly running,' and you'll turn up some discussions with links to malware removal tools.

[SOLVED] Systemd stuck at "Starting File system check"

Backstory
My hardware:
Mobo: Gigabyte X99 2011v3 with UEFI and dual bios.
GFX: MSI GTX 970 4GB Gaming OC
HDD: Samsung 850 Pro 1TB SSD
CPU: intel 5820k
I have been using arch for about 2 years now. I recently bought new hardware, Gigabyte X99 motherboard uefi dual bios. I have tried a couple of times to install arch the old way, i.e. legacy mode or normal bios mode, however after a successful install, when I reboot my bios says "Select Proper Boot Device". Then I decided to put everything in UEFI mode and install arch using the uefi install disc. At first, I was not very successful, because I followed the arch wiki to the bone but when it comes to UEFI, instructions are a bit vague. In any case, I managed to install Arch and get uefi to work 100% by using this guide http://jorisvandijk.com/2014/installing … pt-system/ .
Problem
After installing arch successfully using UEFI mode, arch starts booting up, everything shows [OK] at the side, no errors, however, it hangs after a line that reads "Starting File system check ". I am not at home right now, however I thought I could start troubleshooting and maybe get some ideas.
I have tried the following.
- Chrooted back into my arch install using the live cd and mounting my partitions.
- Updated and synced pacman.
- Removed all journal log files.
- reinstalled Systemd.
- rebuilt kernel modules.
none of the above worked. It still hangs at "Starting fiel system check"
Any ideas.

thx for your help so far. I have printed out the Arch beginners install and followed it to the bone and focusing on the UEFI parts. Arch installed without a single error, everything went smooth. Aftwerwards, I exited from the chroot environmount, unmount and reboot and again, it hangs on the startup. This time I took screenshots.

Afterwards, I restarted again. Went into bios setup and checked my boot priorities. This is what I saw:

I tried all the options listed for my Samsung SSD, with and without UEFI as well as the option that was the default aka Linux boot manage". Each one did exactly the same.
I have a few ideas :
1.) Leave out swap.
2.) Disable fscheck.
3.) I have a feeling that my SSD is reading/writing too fast and that fscheck is having trouble ?
I am now trying option 1. In other words, I am reinstalling arch, again, following the beginners guide to the bone and focusing specifically on the UEFI parts. This time, I am leaving out swap. (I have 16GB of DDR4 memory). I have about a 70% feeling that the outcome will be the same. However, I will be back after that to comment on the outcome. System Check Message: How do I close my Internet Explorer to install Adobe Illustrator CS3?

Upon installing Adobe Illustrator CS3, I cannot finish installing because system check tells me that Internet Explorer needs to be closed. I am using Windows Vista Home Edition Premium. I'm simply confused because I do not know exactly how to close Internet Explorer to finish my installation process. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

hello, unfortunately when you search for this error message it appears that it might be related to malware that is active on your system and blocks file downloads.
please try to run a full scan of your system with different security tools like the [http://www.malwarebytes.org/products/malwarebytes_free free version of malwarebytes], [http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/download/adwcleaner/ adwcleaner], [http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/default.aspx microsoft safety scanner] & [http://www.kaspersky.com/security-scan kaspersky security scan].

You can setup the check for duplicate invoice in vendor also LFB1-REPRF, in company code view--Payment Transactions.
Here is the F1 help on the field
Check Flag for Double Invoices or Credit Memos
Indicator which means that incoming invoices and credit memos are checked for double entries at the time of entry.
Use
Checking Logistics documents
Firstly, the system checks whether the invoice documents have already been entered in the Logistics invoice verification; the system checks invoices that are incorrect, or invoices that were entered for invoice verification in the background.
Checking FI documents
The system then checks whether there are FI or Accounting documents that were created with the original invoice verification or the Logistics verification, and where the relevant criteria are the same.
Checking Logistics documents
In checking for duplicate invoices, the system compares the following characteristics by default: Vendor Currency Company code Gross amount of the invoice Reference document number Invoice document date
If all of these characteristics are the same, the system issues a message that you can customize.
When you enter credit memos or subsequent adjustments, the system does not check for duplicate invoices.
Exception: Country-specific solution for Argentina, where invoices and credit memos are checked for duplicate documents.
No message is issued if you enter a document that has previously been reversed.
Dependencies
The system only checks for duplicate invoices in Materials Management if you enter the reference document number upon entering the invoice.
In Customizing for the Logistics invoice verification, you can specify that the following characteristics should not be checked: Reference document number Invoice document date Company code
This means that you can increase the likelihood that the system will find a duplicate invoice, because you can reduce the number of characteristics checked.

All other characteristics are the same. As a result, the system issues a message that a duplicate entry has been made.
If the "Reference document number" had been selected in Customizing, the system would have checked the document and discovered that it was different from the invoice entered earlier, so it would not have issued a message.
Checking FI documents
Depending on the entry in the field "Reference", one of the following checks is carried out: 1. If a reference number was specified in the sequential invoice/credit memo, the system checks whether an invoice/credit memo has been posted where all the following attributes agree: Company code Vendor Currency Document date Reference number 2. If no reference number was specified in the sequential invoice/credit memo, the system checks whether an invoice/credit memo has been posted where all the following attributes agree:Company code Vendor Currency Document date Amount in document currency

System Check on VAT Reg No while creating new Vendors / Customers

Hi,
There is a requirement whereby a system check has to be in place everytime a new customer or vendor is created to ensure that no duplicate master record is created. This has to be preferably based on VAT reg. no field under General data (Filed name STCEG Table LFA1 and LFAS).
However after the above compliance, In case of Customer master, it should allow same customer no. to be entered for partner functions Payer, Sold to party, billed to party etc.
Please provide your views and best way for the same in terms of any user exit, search criteria, program changes etc..

CS4 System Check Error

I recently tried to isnstall CS4 on my Macbook and when I inserted the 2nd cd, it quit. I then tried to uninstall and install again, but I get a System Check alert saying
"Critical errors were found in setup for Adobe CS4 Design Premium:
undefined
The installer database is invalid: please re-install the product from the original media.
Please see the Setup log file for details. Click Quit to exit Setup."
I am frustrated and have tried everything I know. I'm new to Mac and would appreciate any help!! Thanks in advance.

KE27 msg k/846 system checks entry date

Dear all,
We are testing KE27 to transfer actual COGS for period 2011/7.
One of the billing document was failed to find actual COGS.
The message says "k/846 unable to determine actuall cost for period 008".
The billing document was created today Aug 1.
To me it looks like system checks entry date than posting date in my case.
Did anyone have the same problem before?
Please let me know how to solve it.

PS. MM period was shifted to Aug. before movement 601 was done.

Hi Sharon,
on the entry screen of KE27 there is a check-box labelled "periodic valuation". The F1-description for that box reads:
"If you select this function, valuation is executed using the original posting date for the line item being revaluated, as opposed to using the date when the transaction was executed"
Obviously, you ran KE27 with that box un-checked.
