Cs 6 and cs6 trial might both be on my computer-don't want problems when "trial" ends in 30 days.

I had massive problems getting cs6 (paid version) to install after updating my computer to winows 8. Lots of issues with serial number on Adobe's part. Now, i ran belarc scan, says I have trial version of cs6, with totally different sn then what my paid version is. I would like to make sure adobe cs6 is properly installed on my computer, and don't want to be unpleasently surprised in 30 days, which is how long i think the trial lasts. What should I do? just delete cs 6 using uninstall? I only see one cs 6 in the install/uninstall section, there it is not listed as a trial. Thank you for any help!

I think what you said about orphaned files/ registry keys was exactly what happened to my installation. When Windows 8 took out my cs6, I bet there were lots of stray files that remained. I used your link for the Creative Suite Cleaner Tool , and ran that program after I did the uninstall from the "install/uninstall menu. Now, Adobe CS6 is working perfectly.( It did not "save as" properly) Thank you so much. I think the CS Cleaner Tool really did the trick! And, I feel a lot better, knowning I did not somehow download an additional PS6 that was a trial, since you said that only one CS6 can be on a computer at a time.

Sign in to your Adobe account online and see if your serial number is available via the My products section. If you regstered your software then it should be available there.
Your only other hope beyond that would be to contact Adobe Support thru chat and see if they can help you. Also ask them to reset your activations so that the lost installation is essentially deactivated.

How do I keep my home calendar events from showing up in my work calendar (outlook)? I have my work e-mail on my phone and need to see the work calendar but I don't want personal appointments showing up on it, like drs. appointments, soccer games etc.

I want to keep my home and work calendars separate but be able to look at both on my phone. I don't want my personal appointments and events to show up on my work calendar, although it's fine if work events show up on my home calendar. When I delete a personal appointment from my work calendar in Outlook, it disappears from my home calendar on my phone. I just want it to disappear from my work calendar!. FYI, I have my work and personal e-mail accounts on my phone.

When you say "use the same purchasing apple ID for both to share books/music apps"- will this allow him to see what apps I download on his ipod (don't want)? will this allow me to continue to see what apps/games he gets on his ipod, on my phone (do want)? and do I set those changes on both devices?

He doesn't use game center, imessage, facetime or anything else (mainly just games, music and picture taking)- so does he really need his own apple id and email address? also- if he wants to start getting text messages, would i still have access to all of them if he has his own apple id? would i have access to them if he stays on my apple id?
Then he doesn't need an Apple ID.

My Itunes has my phone on recovery mode! And my lock button doesn't work. I don't want to restore my phone!

I was trying to upload some music to my phone, then my Itunes told me that my phone is on recovery mode! What does recovery mode even mean? It says it will check for an update again in a couple days? An update for what?
The only option it is giving me is to restore my entire phone? I can't though... I have too much numbers, and important stuff on my phone for it to be restored!
I really need to get my music on my phone soon, so if any one can help me that would be great! I really don't need anyone to be rude to me, I just don't know what I did wrong?

hold the home and power button together till a itunes,arrow and cable wire logo appear on the screen, now your computer will check for updates if any on your phone and will download the necessary updates and your phone might get restored . please let me know if that helps

I have been reading about Home Sharing but I am not sure this is the approach I am after. Will home sharing work to allow her to alter and change the content on her PC without changing/altering it on mine? Will it allow her to sync her iPod with her PC?
I suppose I should also add that we are currently running 2 iPod touches, 2 iPads and an iPhone from my apple ID. I am not even sure if I would be able to add her PC as a device for home sharing if that is an option for us.

When you connect your phone and start iTunes on the left side you will see your phone listed under devices.Click on te icon next to it that looks like a battery. Click on the music button at the top and uncheck the sync music box.

I smashed my screen and need a swap out. I signed the authorisation form and they're ordering a new phone, but I don't want to swap?

A week ago I dropped my iPhone 5 and the screen shattered. I went to the apple store twice and was screwed around with wrong information about prices and the extent of the damage, eventually I was told that they can't replace the display and I will need a replacement/swap. My phone is out of warranty and I only have three months left on my contract plan. They have to order in the part and I did sign the authorisation form for store work, and in a week I have to go back so they can do the work. In short, I am wondering if I am able to back out of the replacement, or if signing that form (without any work actually being done) means I'll have to pay the $330.
Is there anything in the repair terms and conditions that says because they've ordered the part in I have to pay for it? (from what I understand they ordered a standard iPhone 5 because there were no more in stock).

You should never update without making sure that everything is on your computer.
If your iphone is recovery mode, then everything on it is already lost.
If you are using your iphone as designed, then everything is on your computer, just sync it back.

Firefox pops up with "alot" page and I have asked for it to be gone ( don't want to use it at all and it is invasive), how do I do so?
