CS 6 upgrade - please explain how much it will REALLY cost??

I've asked this question three times today and I'm still not sure I have the right answer.
What will it REALLY cost to upgrade from CS5 Design Premium to CS6 Design and Web Premium?
Currently I have CS5 Design Premium.
What I want to end up with is CS6 Design and Web Premium, at a cost of $29/month for the first year for the subscription.
Do I have to pay a flat fee for the upgrade?
Or if I pay for the subscription, is that the same as the upgrade?
When I contacted Adobe through the Chat function on their site, two different representatives said that I would have to either pay $749 to upgrade from CS5 to CS6, or $399 to upgrade from CS5 to 5.5, then get CS6 for free.
When I called 800-585-0774, a different representative assured me that I could sign up for Creative Cloud at $29/month, and that would take care of upgrading to CS6 from CS5. No flat cost of $749 or $399 would be necessary.
This is a MAJOR cost difference and I have to know before I decide if/when to upgrade.

You pay the $29.99/month…PERIOD…but at the end of the year it goes to $49.99/month.
This will take you beyond Web and Design premium and to Creative Cloud which includes the entire Master Collection among other services.
If you just want the Design and Web Premium in a perpetual license (no subscription to keep up with) you best act soon to save some money. Upgrade to CS5.5 now and you’ll get CS when it ships for free.

There's no way of knowing for sure, of course, but typically Apple's hardware doesn't go up in price when a new OS comes out. The price changes (up and down) in response to other factors.
Leopard will come standard
with all macs after it comes out, won't it?
In the past, there have sometimes been short transition times when the old OS was pre-loaded on new computers, but the box included upgrade CDs. Or you might get a coupon for the new OS for a nominal fee of $20.
At this point, only Apple knows how they plan on handling the transition to Leopard, and anything anyone outside Apple is just speculating.

I could see though the camera and it glitch so it would face time people and go on random apps. It cracked again. Then the screen was slipping off, and eventually fell off completely. Apple does not sell parts. You cannot get a genuine Apple screen, unless it is one that was removed from a damaged or stolen device. If you want genuine, then go with the out of warranty replacement. If you are going to try and replace it yourself, then you get what you get. Take your chances.

Unless you bought the old iPod touch within the last 14 days, it’ll cost you at least 90% of the price of a new one if done through Apple; it’d probably be better to sell it somewhere else.

this is all greek to me. WHAT IS STARTTLS? On the first page of Apple set up there is a TLS certificate and it is marked NONE- should I change it to the long APPLE CERT option? The next page under ADVANCED: THERE IS A BOX SSL MARKED. Then IMAP Path Prefix - I put stmp.gmail.com.. is that right? Port 993 can use this one? as 456 doesn't work and 587 said it wasn't safe. Under AUTHENTICATION I used PASSWORD. Should I have used external client cert TLS?

DATA: l_valid TYPE c.
Data grid1 type ref to cl_gui_alv_grid.
CALL METHOD grid1->check_changed_data IMPORTING e_valid = l_valid.
This method checks if any data is changed on the grid if there any editable fields .
And updates the changed values

I'm assuming you can..now I don't know the prices for your area, you'll have to check around, I just did a quick web search and I'm pulling all sorts of prices up, I'd look into a repair facility near you and see what they can do for you :-) shouldn't be too expensive though! Good luck!

You will need either an Ethernet or Wifi Connection to the Internet - USB Mobile device is not supported.
If you already have Lion installed you can boot to Recovery with Command R and use the Disk Utility to erase the Macintosh HD and then reinstall the OS from the Mac OS X Utilities.
You will need the Apple Id used for purchase if the Mac did not ship with Lion installed originally.
If you want to repartition the HDD you can use the Recovery Disk Assistant to make a recovery USB drive

As Always - Back up the Mac before erasing unless you are confident there is absolutely nothing on the mac that you might possibly need later.
If the machine is a 2011 build or later you might be able to boot to Internet Recovery with Command Option R

Yes, sound stupid, regarding test environment, but in reality, is not that much:
-I do have "preprod" environment, (2 instances RAC) same releases of OS, OCW,RAC ... but DB size is 40 GB!!! It has all the objects as production, but (again but) it does not have physical standby, as production has. This is not that unusual, knowing that production DB grows very fast, and very large, and business do not want to keep preprod, dev, test databases same HUGE size as production is. Savings ...
-My DB upgrade depends if application running on top of it is certified for higher RDBMS release ... looks like they have some problems.
-Very encouraging sounds comment that DB upgrade does not depend that much of the DB size ...
- i do not recall from where this info came, but I have heard that R 11.* treats PDF files in different way that R10 did it ... and because of that, process of upgrading big databases which have many items of that type (pdf) can take very long. Any idea about this?

Actually an outlier correction is an historical value that lies the tolerance lane.
the apo sys calculate this tolerance lane on the basis of the sigma factor.
It then correct any historical value that lies outside the upper or lower band of this tolerance lane.
So, that it corresponds to the calculated ex- post value for that point in time.
this option is available in Master forecast profile /sapapo/mc96b in Univariate profile( control parameters) tab.
If you have set the outlier correction indicator, then the sys first calculate an ex-post forecast with the selected forecasting techniques.
In the next step, the sys calculates a tolerance threshold T.
where T is calculated as T = sigma * MAD (Mean Absolute Deviation)
Here the Sigma factor defines the width of the tolerance rangefor automatic outlier correction.
it defines the permissible number of standard deviations.
A small sigma factor means a low tolerance, and a large number of outliers that are detected and corrected.
The default Sigma factor is 1.25.
If you set the Sigma factor, SAP recommends that you set it betw 0.6 and 2.
