CS Premium Activation Code Needed

I have Adobe CS Premium. 14 Months ago I tried to web activate it on my new computer and I could not. I contacted Adobe and you gave me an activation code over the phone. Everything worked fine on my Win Prem 7 Op System. In fact it worked better than on my old XP system. A Windows Update crashed my entire system. Now I am reinstalling it again on the same system and I need to get another activation code. Help!

Did you try using the same code as was given to you the last time? If not, try it. If you did not retain it, you might be able to find it in your Adobe account online.
Otherwise, you need to contact Adobe Support either by chat or via phone when you have serial number and activation issues.

Please remove your S/N ASAP. By posting it, you risk never being able to use it again as others use it instead. I am not sure what you need to activate. Normally only the S/N is needed.

Just to clarify - in terms of backing up one set of these, would that just be so I had it on disk and didn't need to re-download from Adobe if the installation got corrupted somehow? Or do I need a backup for some other reason?

You are allowed to have two activated installations, so if you prefer to you can keep ut on the current machine and just install it on the new one like you did originally. If you wish to eliminate it on the other machine, the first thing to do is to deactivate it by opening a program in the suite and selecting Help -> Deactivate in the top toolbar. That is all you need to do to disable the software. At this point if you prefer to you can uninstall it if you like.
As far as getting it on the new nmachine, as I just indicated, just install it like you did the first time.

You don't need to install the older version, you only need the serial number from your original purchase. If you don't have them to hand, did you register? If so, they should be in your Adobe account. If not you really need to contact Adobe, though it isn't clear they will be able to do anything without some proof of purchase etc.

Software activation codes are provided by the software producers, so you need to check with the site you downloaded the app from.

For Creative Suite, all you need is a serial number. However, if the serial number was used more than on two computers, one of the computers would have to be deactivated. If it was used on a computer that died or is no longer accessible, you can use Web chat to deactivate the old computer.

If your two activation are in use you need to call Adobe. Install CS3 to to point of activation and call Adobe at that point. They have help me in cases like your My Disk crashed and I replaced it. Could not deactivate the crash activation. I done that twice over the years I've been using PS for around 20 years
To see your key you need to click on the product in your Adobe products and services page.

I installed all my new boxes recently. I didn't know I needed to use the activation code and I think I sent it back with the old equipment.

You don't need an activation code for most things. What are you trying to do that seems to need one?
These forums are peer to peer, so if you really need an activation code you wil have to use the "contact Us" option that verizon has on all their web pages.
PS: the PC based In-home-agent is almost completely worthless. It has known bugs that will cause problems on PC's including going into a loop that will eat all CPU cycles for at least once processor. Web based and STB version will pretty much do everything you need in-home-ageent to do.

Waaaaw, this is frustrating!
Paid my $99 July 12, received "Iphone Developer Program Activation Code" on July 13.
Have been trying to activate since (By clicking on the link "Activation Code")
All I get so far is either:
- a generic error page
- iPhone DevCenter (without the Portal Program link/button...)
Do I just need to wait a bit longer or keep retrying to activate?
Any advice?

There was not a netflix option under the Networking menu. The first thing I tried was resetting the system to factory defaults, and it triggered the "try netflix" popup, but it kept the old netflix user's account in there.
