CS Premium on MacBook Pro 10.3.6

I installed Adobe Creative Suite Premium on to a MacBook Pro 10.3.6. All applications seem to open except Photoshop. I recieve a window message that says...
"/Library/StartupItems/AdobeVersionCue" has not been started because it does not have the proper security settings.
every time I start my computer.
I also recieve a window message when trying to open Photoshop...
Could not complete your request because of missing or invalid personalization information.
Can anyone tell me the reasons for this? Are CS Premium and MacBook Pro 10.3.6 compatible? ...and if not then why are my other programs opening just not Photoshop?

If it's the original version of CS, then unsupported means just that. It might work, it might not, but if doesn't you're on your own.
And please note that you are now officially out of the upgrade loop and will have to pay full price for CS5.

  • Using Windows 7 Home Premium on Macbook Pro 10.6.6

How can I find a manual or other information to use Windows 7 Home Premium on Mac Book Pro 10.6.6.
Specically, I am trying to find information concerning keyboard combinations that work on a PC that don't
use the same keystrokes on the Mac Book Pro (ie: what keystroke combintions to "print screens").
Also other infromation where Windows 7 differs on the Macbook Pro than what occurs on a PC.

So your looking for the keyboard mapping differences between the two operating systems.
As you know you can use a PC keyboard from someplace like Logitech and map the keys the way you want too.
So really all the hard work has been done for you, use the programable PC keyboard and everything works just like before.
If you search Apple's site you'll find all the OS X keyboard combinations.

  • Trying to download windows vista premium on macbook pro

i just bought windows vista premium from microsoft market place then tried to download it .... not working ... please advise

In order to install Windows Vista using Boot Camp on a Mac you will need the disk version, as the install process will not be able to read the downloaded files from the Mac drive.
If the download hasn't downloaded then you may wish to check with Microsoft.

  • Why RAM Preview 2x faster on Macbook Pro vs Desktop PC?

    Hello everyone,
I RAM Previewed a few seconds of an AE CS6 project on a Desktop PC I recently had custom-built, and was distraught to discover it was twice as slow as previewing the exact clip on my Macbook Pro. The project involves simple 3D camera movements. Why might this be so, and can I tweak my PC settings to get more out of it?? I will greatly appreciate any feedback I can get...I'm still new to the Adobe world, and even newer to computer configuration. Thank you!

    Thank you!!

No SSD Drive on the Mac, just 1 TB HDD
The CPU's Processor is: Intel Core i7-4770K Haswell 3.5GHz
and the Mac's is: 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7
I don't know what differences between these may apply to this dilemma.
Here are a few screenshots of the project:

    I hope this helps!

Yes. Just make sure to deactivate the license on both systems using Apple menu --> Deactivate while one of the suite programs is running.

Want to send all dictation to Word.
I have Dragon.  Should I purchase Dragon Premium or Dragon for Mac?

Care to share which OS you are using?
OS has its own dictation program.
Should I purchase Dragon Premium or Dragon for Mac?
Only you can make that determination.  Read the system requirements for both and read the reviews.

Also, I had to install the software twice on my same computer before because I had to reboot the computer. I don't know if this affects the limit.

You are allowed to have two activated installations so there should not be a problem having working installations on the two machines.  If by chance you have somehow tied up two activations for the one machine you can have Adobe support help resolve that thru chat.

  • CS 5 Design Premium crashes on MacBook Pro 13 Retina (OS X Yosemite 10.10)

My CS 5 Design Premium (Student License) worked well on former Macs, but now on my current MacBook Pro 13 Retina (from end of 2013, with OS X Yosemite 10.10) they always crash within minutes, e.g. after choosing other fonts in Illustrator or exporting files. Is there anything I can do to fix this and work with my CS again?

  • MacBook Pro 13" Late 2011, 16GB RAM and Apple Premium Service Center

    Hello all,
My dad has a MacBook Pro 13" Late 2011, it came with a 4GB RAM. When he got Parallels and installed Windows 8, 4GB RAM were not enough to even deal with Safari so he had to buy 16GB RAM from Cruical. Today when he went to Apple Premium Service Center here in Qatar (51 East) they refused to install the x2 8GB RAM and only installed one of them. They kept warning my dad that installing the whole 16GB can cause issues with the MacBook Pro HDD and can make it go faulty. I wanted to ask if installing RAMs can pose the HDD life to any danger. Because my dad uses his Mac for work and wouldn't like to lose any of his files against small additional speed.
    Thanks.

its very easy to do, here are step by step instructions with photos

  • Can i run adobe design premium 4 in macbook pro 2011?

I just bought a macbook pro 2011 2.2 GHz, quad core i7 to work with my adobe design premium 4. I heard many software like final cut studio and adobe creative 5 are are not working well with mac os lion. I got really worry and want to return the macbook pro. But before returning the macbook pro, i need to hear from you. I google and many people had no problem running adobe cs3 and cs4 with mac os lion. I need your help!

Both Adobe software titles you reference are incorrect. Do you mean Adobe InDesgn 4? if so that has problems running in Lion. I don't know where you get your information about Final Cut pro from. You can always check that forum here:

  • Trying to install Creative Suite 2 premium on my MAcBook Pro. its telling me its not supported

Trying to install Creative Suite 2 premium on my MAcBook Pro. its telling me its not supported

It means what it says. It's simply old software that doesn't run on contemporary Macs. You need to come up with something else like buying a current version or joining Creative Cloud.
