CS upgrade install can't find old photoshop - need unlocking key

Well, I guess I can't call support anymore. I had to do a reinstall of windows and now I need to reinstall my Creative Suite Standard. It is an upgrade version and works off an old copy of Photoshop that I had. In the past, a few years ago, when I set this up I had problems with the upgrade not recognizing the old Photoshop. I ended up calling in to support and my licenses were verified and the old Photoshop did fulfill the requirement to install the upgrade. The person on the phone had me do some special hold a key and click and enter an "unlocking key". I believe this is different than an unlock code. The one they gave me last time does not work. Again, I don't seem to be able to call them anymore. Anyone have any ideas?

Transferring Coldfusion to a new server - Upgrade license; Can't find old license key HELP!!

I am currently in the process of porting over my data from another server to a new server.
On that server I am running ColdFusionMX7 Standard and want to continue running it on the new one.
Coldfusion is currently loaded on the new server through a trial edition but when I try and enter the Serial Number I see on the Coldfusion on the server I am currently operating, it prompts me that "You have entered an upgrade license key (XXXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX), which requires you to enter the license key of your previous version of ColdFusion."
Do you have any advice on this? Is there any way to find that old license on the old server?

System re-Install Can't find old (backed up) mail

Hi there
was having serious issues with ical so backed up my user folder and erase/installed the computer
I started mail, closed it then replaced the mail.plist and the mail file in my user library
Weirdly my accounts have all re-appeared but none of my old mail has.
Has something changed in the way you have to get your old mail back?

Depends on the Mail version you are trying to reimport from.
Erasing your machine's contents to fix a single program's issue is overkill and extremely risky. In the future always clone your data or use Time Machine*:

Check whether these items are still available on iTunes. iTunes lets you redownload only the items that have not been modified or removed from the iTunes Store since you purchased them.

Pictures from where? Did you shoot the pictures with the iPad which would have them saved them to the Camera Roll? If so, you can restore from a backup if you have a backup with the photos in them.
Do you ever backup your iPad? If not, there is no way to recover them.

If you haven't found out which app it is then if you go into list view in the Apps part of your library do any of the apps have an exclamantion mark against them ? If they do then they are the one(s) that iTunes can't find the actual app file(s) for - if you delete that app from your library then if it is still in then you should be able to re-download it via the Purchased link under Quicklinks on the right-hand side of the iTunes store homepage on your computer's iTunes, or you can just download it directly on your phone via the Purchased tab in its App Store app

The model 6,1 Late 2009 and the model 7,1 Mid 2010 use an A1331 battery. You can replace it yourself or have Apple do it for you for $129. If you need it quickly make sure you order it from a U. S. seller. Orders from China can take two or three weeks.

The scroll bar only appears when you are scrolling with your trackpad. If you want to make it show always, open System Preferences > General, and mark "Always" next to "Show scroll bars".
Then, Mac keyboards have not got a Home or End key

Upgraded hard drive, can't find old iPhoto books

I upgraded the hardrive in my old iMac and my OS was upgraded at the same time. I'd produced 3 books in iPhoto and they no longer appear, even though all the data was transfered from the old HD. I assume that the new version of iPhoto has lost the Books, although all the photos are there.
My question is - can I retrieve these old books in any way?

I too have "lost books" in moving from one computer to another in a different location. Thanks to this post I've "found" them in the database but my question is how to restore them so that they are visible in iPhoto and therefore available for reprints?
This makes no sense - books do not exist except in the database and the only way to see them is using the database access program - iPhoto - so if you can see them you are seeing them in iPhoto - you can not see them "in the database" any other way

Can't remove old Photoshop Elements 2.0

I found an old PSE 2.0 application still installed on my PC (XP SP3) that I would like to remove. The old PSE 2.0 application actually runs, but I am unable to remove it using the normal add/remove programs method ... it returns the message "an error occured" when I try that. I understand that re-installing the program, etc. is one possible approach to correct the uninstall file corruption, however, I long ago misplaced the original CD. So, is there an Adobe utility to remove their software in such cases? If not, is there another method to get this stubborn program out? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I have an older iMac running 10.7.5. It has iPhoto 6.0.6. I am trying to upgrade iPhoto, but cannot find any way possible to buy or upgrade it beyond present level. Recognize may not be possible to get 'current' but would welcome getting as close as possible...

If you do get an iLife 11 disk and install iPhoto it will be v9.0. You can run v9.4.3 so you'll need to use the following updaters to get to it:
update to iPhoto 9.2.1
update to iPhoto 9.3
update to iPhoto 9.3.2
update to iPhoto 9.4
and finally to iPhoto 9.4.3
