CS1 PSD, PCT, etc not recognizing overlay, but TIFF works. PS7 worked fine.

I have used PS7 forever and just tried CS1 for the first time and none of my PSD overlay files for my subtitle track get recognized.
I use motion menus and have my buttons made from the subtitle track.
The only file that DVD SP 3.02 will recognize is a TIFF from CS1. (Any file from PS7 worked fine, PSD, PCT, TIFF, etc)
I read that i had to do with the way CS1 and/or CS2 saves the layers or something, but i saved a COPY of the PSD with and without layers. I also did the same thing with no layers for a PICT, etc.
My PSD file is only 1 Layer with just Black Text.
The only thing i can get to work is a TIFF....
Save As> TIFF
As a Copy Checked, and nothing else checked
Then Image Compression> None
Byte Order > Macintosh
Discard Layers and Save a Copy
I guess saving as a TIFF everytime is fine, i just wonder why when i create a single layered PSD file with Black Text for my overlay file and import it in with CS1, DVD SP 3.02 doesnt recognize it, but with PS7, any single layered PSD file with Black Text gets recognized.
One more thing..
If i bring in the CS1 PSD file that doesn't get recognized by DVD SP 3.02, i can drag this file to the subtitle track and make one large button about as big as the viewer and i can see some text that says somethign like this...
This Photoshop file does not contain a composite image
It also says it 3 other times in 3 different languages.
So what is the deal with CS1 and/or CS2.

It HAS to be an issue with CS1 or something.
I have used this same method of doing overlays since DVD SP 1 and PS 5.5 or PS6.
All of a sudden i install CS1 and it started tweaking.
I have my original file, Main Menu.psd, lets just say 5 layers for example.
Then i duplicate it, and rename the file Main Menu OL.psd
Then i delete all the not used layers, and keep one layer named "overlay".
I then add an outer glow (black), normal, 100% opacity, precise, 0 and 1.
This works great.
Save it and then it doesn't show up in DVD SP now.
In DVD SP, i use Grayscale, then set the color RED (153, 0, 0) opacities to 10, 12, 12. GRAY for the activated. Nothing for Normal.
This comes out great, usually, but not now.
But the .psd from CS1 doesn't work.
But if I take this same Main Menu OL.psd file and save it as a copy using TIFF, then it will work.
Just seems weird that the .psd file doesnt get recognized.
It always "used" to in PS7.

It's not working here as well with Java 6 U25 on Linux.

That issue can be caused by corrupted cookies.
Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Firefox > Preferences > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Firefox > Preferences > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

After configuring SSL, cannot run Report Manager but ReportServer works fine

I'm using SSRS 2014 as part of SQL Server 2014 Express. I've configured both the Web Service URL and the Report Manager URL to use a Certificate and only allow port 443 traffic. I did this by removing the port 80 identity and adding an SSL Identity.
All is working well for https://myserver.com/ReportServer. But when I try and access report manager, I get the following error when running remote:
The underlying connection was closed: Could not
establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel.
When running directly on the server, the server, it just rejects my passwords and asks for it again.
If I remove the SSL Indentity and add back in port 80, it works fine over https.
Any ideas of what might be causing this problem?

Per my understanding that you have added an SSL Identity and you got some errors "The underlying connection was closed: Could not establish trust relationship for the SSL/TLS secure channel." when you logging remotely to the report manager,
but which work fine when login report server, and it also asked for credential when you login report manager locally, right?
The issue can be caused by many factors. Please check below points one by one to help you clarify:
In rsreportserver.config file(Path like this:C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10.MSSQLSERVER\Reporting Services\ReportServer), ensure that SecureConnectionLevel is set to the value 2 or 3. If disable the SSL value is set to 0. Corrected
line in your rsreportserver.confiog file should look like:
<Add Key="SecureConnectionLevel" Value="3"/>
In rsreportserver.config, add the correct value to the <URLRoot> element. the ReportServerUrl value must be the name of the server that is registered for that certificate. with a hostname that is valid for your certificate. For example, if the
certificate is registered to https://adventure-works.com.onlinesales, the report server URL would be
https://adventure-works.com.onlinesales/reportserver.

Ensure that your certificate exists in Trusted Root Certification Authorities in certmgr for the local machine.

This is very important. In rsreportserver.config file, add the same value to the <ReportServerUrl> element the same as that you added in step 2.

Then restart your report server (stop & then start in Report Server Configuration Manager).

Unfortunately, most of my advice is in the "hindsight is 20-20" category.
First off, I would never have purchased the peripheral accessories until the 14 day return period had expired. Second, you learned the hard way what the "14 days" really means.
Too bad you didn't do any homework, reading this and other forums and tech sites. Even word of mouth from others. That, more than anything could have steered you towards different phone choices from the get-go and I will leave that there with no further comment other than to say most of the issues you described have been discussed in this forum, ad nauseam.
Once you got into the refurbished phone exchanges, that is where things really went haywire. What someone tells you over the phone is a sketchy proposition, and when it comes down to it, it's your word against theirs.
I think Verizon tried to make it right, though. Remember, they don't make the phones. Don't throw the baby out with the bathwater.
You stated yourself you were a satisfied Verizon customer before this. Had the first two phones performed as they should, you would still be a satisfied Verizon customer.
Doubt any of that will make you any happier, but after you went through the effort of writing such a long post, I thought I'd try.

Does your mic work in System Preferences?
System Preferences > Sound > Input
There is an Input Level meter that should light up when you talk. Just to make sure your mic and Mac are working.
Which mic are you using? Are you using the built in mic on an Apple Display? I have Apple's LED display and every time I use Facetime, as in place or take a call, the mic input volume gets reset to a level so low, people can't hear me. I have to manually raise the mic volume back to where I had set it. When I end the call, Facetime resets the volume back to where I set it. If I don't reset the mic volume level on each and every call, people can't hear me.
I called Apple on this. They downloaded a log file tool to my Mac and took some logs. Then they called me back and said this works as designed. Incredible.
So, if you are using Apple's LED display, this may be your problem. Note that the mic volume level gets set low and reset back only during a call. If you check it before a call and then after a call, it looks fine as if nothing changed. Open up the Sound prefernces and watch it get reset in real time.

Solid amber on an AirPort Extreme is an indication that the internal power supply is starting to act up.
If the AirPort Extreme is in warranty, it shouid be exchanged for another AirPort Extreme.
If the AirPort Extreme is several years old, keep any eye on things. When/if you find that you are having to reset the device several times a week, it's time to start thinking about a replacement device, as the end is near.

If that only happens on a specific page or domain then make sure that you do not block images on that domain.

*A click on the "More Information" button will open the Security tab of the "Page Info" window (also accessible via "Tools > Page Info").

I have that exact same problem! It plays albums fine. But individual songs including ones downloaded from iTunes either skip or play the music of another totally different song. All play fine on iTunes and my iPhone... Got this one to replace my dying 5th gen classic.

At this point it's likely that the iPhone has suffered damage and you'll have to take or send it to Apple for replacement. If you have AppleCare+ coverage on the iPhone, the cost will be US $49. Otherwise the cost will be US $229.
