Cs11, cs12 and cs13

Hi, obsered that in cs13, certain raw materials are not appearing where as in cs11 all bom comonents were appeared. pls advise what is the difference between cs11, 12 and 13?

Those are the BOM explosion methods for reporting purpose.
level By level explosion, and summarized BOM.
When you say not all the material are appearing in CS13, check the the quantity of the common materials across the levels.
You will get ur answer.

Hi,
The setting of L_MBWLS is inside the program & not at user parameter level.
I would suggest create your custom report similar to CS11 / 12 / 13 & in that for the FM - CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 for field MBWLS pass the value 'X'. This will result in displaying the values. But do note that this will result in a relatively longer time for explosion depending on the bom size. This is what i have done at my end.

Dear Siva,
Its the standard functionality of SAP.
You will not get any cost related data in the reports like CS11,CS12,CS13.
You can try CK13N(which shows the components of the BOM along with the cost) or else CK86_99.
At Functional module level execute this one CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 and ensure X is included for the
input field MBWLS.
And also check these SAP notes 177006 and 686509.
Check and revert back.

Cost of components display in CS11 /Cs12 / CS13 T.codes

Hi,
I want to display cost of the components in CS11 / CS12 / CS13 T.codes Std SAP will not display the cost of components. for this they have given note 177006 and asked to change some manual correction. In the post processing of the note they have asked put "your_display_profl" This is making me confusing I wanted know whether I want to create a new display pofile using CLVL t.code or can I make the correction as said by SAP "your_display_profl". Could some body guide me in this regard.

Also you can use this FM for developing reports,CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 provided X is included for the input parameter

BOM Display in CS11/CS12 with BOM status "3"

Just wanted to know if it is possible to display BOM using CS11/CS12 with BOM status "3"- Active with history requirement.

No, it doesn't display the BOM in CS11/CS12 which has BOM status '3' (Active with history requirement). It always give an error message " The BOM is not effective on current date" though the BOM exists in the system and has the history within the validity period. If you try, it also gives the same error message even if the BOM status is Inactive (2'). I guess it works only for the BOM, which has status "1" (Active).
May I request you to try at your end as well and let me know.

Now i am not getting the logic for getting the level number of the component.
Now i am having the data in an internal table as in CS11 ,with out the yellow record which represents the header of the components .

i have all the material and the components for the material in an internal table .
Now i am not getting the logic for getting the level number of the component.
Now i am having the data in an internal table as in CS11 ,with out the yellow record which represents the header of the components .
And i am using the funtion module 'CSAP_MAT_BOM_READ'
BOM Header Material 1111 has the components 1121 and 1122. These components are at level 1
Component 1121 is a BOM Header as well and contains the components 1311, 1312 and 1313. These components are at level 2.
Component 1313 is a BOM Header as well and contains the components 1141,
i am getting out put as
material   component
1111              1121
1111              1122
1111              1311
1111              1312
1111              1313
1111              1141
along with this i want the level number ...
Can any one please help me on this .

Use function module CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2, and in the import parameter set the MEHRS to 'X" 9 Set Multi level explosion to true.

Requirement Qty more than BOM Qty

Hi,
I have a scenario, in my Component Overview of Prodn Order, Requirement Qty of Components in Prodn Order is Different than BOM Qty.
I checked the exploded Qty in CS11, CS12 and CS13. But the Reqt Qty vary with BOM Qty.
Note: No Scrap is maintained
Please guide.

Hi,
1. surely there is a mistake happening at your end.
2. System is robustic on this kind of transactions
Check the below items
1. if any scrap has been maintained at the assembly level for the header material in the material master
2. If any scrap has been maintained for the materail at the BOM item level.
3. check if the unit of measure is same and any relationship is maintained.
4. Also do re-xplode your CS11 and check if it works fine as per your expectation..if it is giving any issue in the production order , it should also give the same here..

Hi all,
In CS11, CS12 and CS13, why the system does not display prices of the materials (both standard or moving).
It is there in layout. But it is showing blank. Is some setting is required ?

The standard functionality of SAP itself is in CS11 or CS12 ,you can not get these
values.
I mean either the Standard price or Moving average price can not be checked here
along with the BOM items.
you can get only either from the material master or else in MBEW table
i have found three OSS notes that relate to this problem and look like they will resolve the problem.
177006, 101262 and 361677

BOM Explosion for MRP Area

Dear Expert,
I have doubt regarding BOM explosion for MRP Area. This doubt is triggered when performing MD01, as result I do not find the dependent requirement in MD04 for my FG. I have maintained the BOM through CS61 and MRP area for all component, I understand that only component level system is taking into account MRP area (storage location). FYI before maintaining all components to MRP area, the BOM explosion was successful exploded. Your advice is appreciated.

Please check the Explosion control in Customizing, Transaction OMIW.
Try to explode the BOM in CS11 , CS12 or CS13 if it is working there in curret date then chack the planning file entry in MD21.
You need to convert the planning file entery at MRP area in OM0F.
Also note the dependent requirement is not generated in the corresponding MRP area to which the production storage location in the material master has been not assigned for the data of the MRP area.

How to explode this engineering BOM. I am not able to explode same in CS11, CS12 OR CS13.

In CS11 transaction, click on view button(button next to Execute)or F5. In Restrict view data area, check Engineering.
click on back button. specify BOM application(you can try with PP01) and Execute.

COST BREAK UP FOR FINISHED GOODS

Hello mates
My client wants to have a "Z" report wherein he wants to see the Cost Break up (like Raw material cost,Labour,Prod. Overhead & Packing Material cost etc) for each Finished Good Material.
Can u provide me the relevant tables to do the Z report.
He also wants to have another report like, For each FG Material, he wants to see the BOM components along with unit cost/total cost for each of the components .
Request you to give the relevant tables and procedure as to how to develop a report.

Try this report for cost components:
S_P99_41000111 - much easier than writing a new one
for the FG BOM report (they always want this and it just isn't there) copy an expleded Bom Report CS11, CS12 or CS13 and marry in the standard cost from MBEW.
A substitute for this would be the costed BOM from the cost estimate. Go to MM03, costing 2 and click the "current" button - it will take you to the cost estimate. the costing structure is the costed BOM - labore, overhead, subcontracting, etc can be added by clicking "all items"

Please inform me about Table for Assembly indicator checkbox in BOM
Field name--- STLKZ.
If table is not there then how to find if this field is checked or Not checked in development program

There is no table where in you can get this information which has got an assembly of its won.
Either you can use CS11,CS12 or CS13 for limited level explosion or else to identify for which
components an assembly exists for itself.
Or else at Functional module level.
