CS11 '该 BOM 是无效的 2009/06/15'
各位XDJM,
今天,遇到一个问题(USER提出的):
用CS03可以展开展开一个物料TIRGABNTXNE1ANJ,但是用CS11就出现了'该 BOM 是无效的 2009/06/15';
Good luck

CS11- BOM explosion with status inactive
When a BOM is marked as inactive( at the header level), the BOM explosion using CS11 is not possible. The systems says there is no effective BOM. However I can pull up the same using CS03 and drill down level by level.
Is this standard SAP behaviour? Are there any settings in Customizing that will make the explosion for inactive BOM's using CS11 possible?Alternative to select inactive BOM
BOM status = inactive in BOM header
In OS31
Create a selection ID = 09, selection priority = 1, BOM usage = 1
OS 30
Create a BOm application copy from PP01 let us say ZP01
In which enter the selection ID = 09, what you created before
Remove all the ticks of check BOM
Save
That is all.
In cs11, select the application as ZP01 and you will get the BOM explosion. -

we are used to get BOM list by using FM 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 ';
but when there is a inactive BOM,FM 'CS_BOM_EXPL_MAT_V2 ' can only be used to get the first level materials,

Hi,
I am working on cs02. my requirement is to get the details of deleted entries in BOM. i have now got the details of changed values. only the deleted values are left.
i have seen :
CS01 CREATE
CS02 CHANGE
CS03 DISPLAY
EXTRAS CS28 ARCHIVING
CS20 MASS CHANGES
EVALUATION/BOM CS11 BOM MULTILEVEL
EXPLOSION/MATERIAL CS12 STRUCTURE MULTILEVEL
BOM CS13 SUMMURISED BOM
How to get the details of history of deleted BOM componentes. even a tcode will help
thanks in advance guysHi Devrath....
when you used CS02 for BOM and delete any component from there and save it...
then this delete entry's record will be inserted in table CDPOS....
you can see the value as D - deleted, U - updated, I - inserted in the CHNGIND field of table CDPOS...
so when you see the value of CHNGIND as D then that component is deleted from your BOM and can get the value of
deleted components....
hope this will help you...

Dear Sir,
We are providing material to manufactured optical cble to vander
In this material we required lentgh of optical cble is 500mm so we can feed 500mm qty. in bom of optical cable assy
But vander required 510 mm length of wire because 10mm is used in crimping & soldering. if we put length of wire as 510mm in bom then IQC person verify with bom then at this IQC reject the material .
So pls advice me that where i can put this 10 mm length in BOM so that vander can received 510 mm from us & in CS11 bom display only 500 mm length of wire.
Thanks & Regards

Hi All,
i want to take printout for the Bill of material.
how can i take the print from the SAP.
please give me the valid information on that.
Thanks
sivaDear Sivakumar,
Use
CS11 - BOM Level By Level,
or CS12 - Multi Level BOM
or CS13 - Summarized BOM to download the BOM report and then you can export the same to a
spread sheet or a word processing and take the print out.

Changing TM Drives: Restore fails
I am trying to change my TM drive from my current 500GB to a brand new 1.5TB drive.
I erased the new drive and named it TimeMachine, the old drive is Time Machine.
I followed the Restore procedure using Disk Utility with Time Machine as the Source and TimeMachine as the Destination.
At approx 10 mins into the Restore, Disk Utility quits with this error:
"Restore Failure

Let's just make sure that you went through the correct steps....
1) Insure that the destination drive is using the GUID Partition Table scheme.
2) In Disk Utility, drag the source volume from the list at the left, into the "Source" field.
3) Next, drag the destination volume from the list at the left, into the "Destination" field.
4) Insure that "Erase Destination" is selected.
5) Click "Restore."
If you are sure that you followed these steps, there may be something wrong with the old volume. Some disk error, I would guess.

BOM Display in CS11/CS12 with BOM status "3"
Hi,
Just wanted to know if it is possible to display BOM using CS11/CS12 with BOM status "3"- Active with history requirement.
Your quick reply is appreciated.
Thanks
Nitin
Edited by: Nitin Pandhare on Jun 16, 2011 10:16 AMNo, it doesn't display the BOM in CS11/CS12 which has BOM status '3' (Active with history requirement). It always give an error message " The BOM is not effective on current date" though the BOM exists in the system and has the history within the validity period. If you try, it also gives the same error message even if the BOM status is Inactive (2'). I guess it works only for the BOM, which has status "1" (Active).
May I request you to try at your end as well and let me know.
Thanks for your help and sharing your views.
Regards,
Nitin -
hi
i maintained bom for final assembly in 6000 plant.in final assembly bom sub assembly is a componenet in 6000 plant and i maintained subassembly bom in 6000 plant and 1000 plant. the problem is when i explode bom in cs11 multilevel. system takes sub assembly bom in 1000 plant.
note:
component of sub assembly in 1000 plant and 6000 plant are different.
how can i solve this.
i want to explode only 6000 plant materialHi,
Before that Please let me Know whether u have created the Group BOM and extented to plant 6000, 1000.
Inthat case if have change the Bom in any one plant, it will affect the all the plants.
Please check the BOM components for plant 1000, 6000 at CS03.
