CS2 won't boot_error 'missing tlpsplib10e.dll'

I have CS2 and have been using it for about 5 years on and old XP windows machean. I got a new computer that runs Win7 professional (64bit) about 2 weeks ago, and installed CS2 on it. Everything worked fine until yesterday, when I went to boot up CS2 and it would not boot and gave me a message that it could not boot, because it was missing 'tlpsplib10e.dll'. I have searched everywhere on line, includeing the adobe site, and can not find any information about this missing .dll file (or a download so I can replace it).
I ran the repair using my PS disk, and also finally did a full un-install and then re-installed CS2... still getting the same message. *Pout*
Here is a screen cap of the error message;

Do you have Topaz software installed?
Google gets a lot of hits for that. That DLL might be borked with a virus too according to some sites. Plus a lot of Pirate torrent sites. Here is the link:

• AfterFX.exe won't start - missing FTL.dll error

This is part of the Creative Suite CS3. All other components work. AfterfX.exe will not start. I reinstalled but no change.
I'm on a Gateway FX540b with Vista Home Premium. I have not applied SP1 yet.
Any ideas?

Is your system up to the latest patch level otherwise? Do you use any CoDec packs on your system? The issue is not dependent on the DLL - there is no such a thing as an ftl.dll (though it would be nice, as according to "Galactica" lore it means "faster than light" and would accelerate your computer a trillion times *giggle*) :-) Remove any CoDec packs you may have on your system. Also look into alternate media players like MPlayer Classic or VLC - they sometimes bent your media file handling assignments in unpredictable ways and may thus screw AE. As an last item, temporarily disable any security tools you may have on the system. If they are protecting or deep-scanning some files, they will respond to any access of those files in similarly unpredictable ways.

• When updating my itunes up came: itunes won't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing - try reinstalling. Where the file went I have no idea but, if I re-install will I lose all my purchases?

When updating my itunes on my PC (Windows 7) this message came up: Itunes program won't start because MSVCR80.dll is missing. Try reinstalling to fix this problem.
If I re-install, will I lose all my downloaded songs and other data I've accumulated over time?
Thanks!!

Go to Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs (Win XP) or Programs and Features (later)
Remove all of these items in the following order:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support (if this won't uninstall press on)
Bonjour
Apple Application Support
Reboot, download iTunes, then reinstall, either using an account with administrative rights, or right-clicking the downloaded installer and selecting Run as Administrator.
The uninstall and reinstall process will preserve your iTunes library and settings, but ideally you would back up the library and your other important personal documents and data on a regular basis. See this user tip for a suggested technique.

• HT1349 My computer popped up with an update from iTunes several days ago. I downloaded the update and when I went to open iTunes, it won't open. I've tried to download again from the website, but it still gives me this error message. Missing MSVCR80.dll

My computer popped up with an update from iTunes several days ago. I downloaded the update. When I went to open iTunes on my computer, it gives me the following error messages...
Missing MSVCR80.dll file.
Error 7 (Windows error 126)
I tried to download iTunes again from the website and repair the problem, to no avail. I've tried several times, but cannot get it to open. I have a Windows 7 machine. My iPhone 5 and iPad work fine and have not asked me to update. I've never had a problem with iTunes before. I hate to delete it entirely from my computer and start over. I'm afraid I'll lose all the music I have downloaded there. What do I do?

• Firefox won't load after update. Missing xul.dll

I run windows vista ultimate and after running auto update firefox wont load. Error message says missing xul.dll
Have to reload the program again. It has only happened after the last 2 auto updates. Have been using firefox for 4 years without prior update problems.

Do a clean reinstall and download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
You can skip the step to create a new profile, that is not necessary for this issue.
See http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_-_Firefox#Clean_reinstall
Do a malware check with a few malware scan programs.
You need to use all programs because each detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of the database before doing a scan.

• After upgrading iTunes, I get the error, missing msvcr80.dll, How do I resolve this issue?

I am using Vista 32 bit on an older dell laptop and have been using iTunes for a long time, downloading songs, syncing with my iPhone, and etc, with no problems. After upgrading to the newest version of iTunes 11, I received an error message of "missing MSVCR80.dll, please reinstall the software" when trying to start the iTunes application. I removed the iTunes software and associated apps from my laptop and reinstalled the iTunes software. While the software was installing it indicated that I did not have permission to install the application. Although I started the installation with the option of "Run as Admistrator". Since I could not reinstall the iTunes software, I choose a restore point where my iTunes was working before, and changed to that point. I am still getting "MSVCR80.dll missing". Does anyone know how I can restore the missing MSVCR80.dll? I have found articles on the web of how to do this, but none seem to work.
Thanks

• TS1717 missing MSVCR80.dll after iTunes update and reinstall

Running Windows 8 and did latest update for iTunes and now it wont run, tried reinstall numerous times, same result. Missing MSVCR80.DLL file.

Click here and follow the instructions. You may need to completely remove and reinstall iTunes and all related components, or run the process multiple times; this won't normally affect its library, but that should be backed up anyway.
