CS3 and OnLocation.. how to access/install?

Hi all, this is a really noddy question I know, but having installed all of CS3 Master Collection, I can't seem to see how to access OnLocation ?! Am I being a bit blonde?

OnLocation for CS3 was supplied on a separate disc with its own serial number.

hold down shift-cmd-alt while starting ai. if done correctly, you'll see a preferences reset prompt.

Hook your iPad into your computer and open iTunes. GIve it a couple of minutes to get going, then click on the name of your device, then the main summary page. In the middle you'll see a software update button/area. Click on check on updates and update and follow the prompts.
it SHOULDN"T redownload but if you've already got it should just install.
I'd suggest that you first do a complete sync before you update, that way you have a good backup to restore your device from if the upgrade doesn't go perfect.

How to access installed Add-ons like OneTab?

I have installed OneTab to my Firefox am unsure how it works as I can't find the icon/button/shortcut to access it. It is showing as 'Enabled' in the Extensions list.

Thanks a lot again for the suggestions.
I did go through the OneTab Help page and the following options are available to access/disply OneTab.
1. The icon on the Toolbar (In my case this neither shows nor lets me add it from the List)
2. The OneTab right click menu (In my case, there is no Onetab menu in the default Right Click menu)
3. Keyboard Shortcut - Alt + Shift + 1 (This doesn’t work as well)
I had written to the OneTab team (Onetab.com/feedback) twice and am yet to receive a reply from them. In the ‘Add-Ons’ page, I have now removed all other extensions and OneTab is showing as enabled.
It could be a setting that is preventing OneTab to alter the Toolbars as Gnospen is suggesting and this point brings to my notice an update on the OneTab Info (in the ‘Add-Ons’ page) that was added in Nov 2014:
''A small minority of people are seeing a blank page instead of their OneTab tabs. This does *not* mean that you have lost them. They are still stored in Firefox, but something is preventing the OneTab extension from loading properly. Just for the record, I have already tried the following:
• Disabled all other extensions but Onetab and restarted Firefox.
• Removed all other extensions but OneTab and and restarted Firefox.
• Removed all extensions including OneTab and re-installed just OneTab after restarting Firefox.
• I removed Firfox and re-installed it and re-installed just OneTab.

I wondered how do you access your plug-ins? I have installed 'Crystal' and 'Camel Space' and they are in the Library/Audio/Plug-Ins folder, I also saw them load up when I start Logic Express.

How To Access Installed HDD Brand Info

I would like to access the informations on the HDD that is installed in my computer. Does anyone know how to find it?

There are several ways to obtain HDD information. Here's one:
From the Start Menu, enter   system information     in the search field. Or you can access it directly from the "run" dialog like this:
Enter <win>r     (press and hold down the Win key, then press the r key)
In the "run" dialog field, enter this     msinfo32
You should see this appear on your screen. Expand the "Storage" tree on the left side. Click on the "disks" section.

However, when I signed it frm my PC/Windows, I think I must have an old Skype account as it no longer shows the same contacts or my $25 credit! To identify an account used to purchase an item:
In iTunes, select one of the items purchased from the iTunes store. Click on "Purchased" under iTunes store on the left side of iTunes.
Right click --> get info.
On the Info tab will be the Apple/iTunesID used to purchase the item.
You cannot combine accounts. Anything bought with one will permanently be associated to that account. Decide which one will be your main one and just use it. Keep stuff from the other backed up so you don't have to log into that account again unless essential.

Mac Dreamweaver CS3 (and only DW) will not install - Web Premium Suite

program but consistently had problems trying to install, so I
probably have some cruft left over.
Note also: I have used Spotlight to find anything with
Dreamweaver in the title that does not relate to DreamWeaver 8
(which is the version that I currently have running on my Mac with

Definitely try using the CS3 Cleanup Script to remove
conflicting libraries/files/extensions/etc before another clean
install from the DVD. You can download the right version for your
platform (Mac?) here:

Don't forget to restart after running the scripts- often
components can remain referenced in memory after removal. Hope this
helps out!

Trouble installing plugins for CS3 and CS4 onto a 32 bit/64 bit PC.

I have two new PCs. They are supposed to run both 32 Bit and 64 Bit programs.
I have CS3 and CS4 32 Bit programs installed on both.
Many of my old faithful plugins have gone on strike or at least a work stoppage!
I can get some of them to install correctly, but some arre just not cooperating.
Is there a workaround for this problem?
I have considered:
1. Creating a partition for Window 7 32 bit, but I am not so technically savvy to be confident that I would do it correctly
2. Buy an older 32 bit machine and install windows 7, but that is getting to the edge of too pricey.
Any suggestions?

The truth is that you can run Windows 7 and Windows 8, in both 32 and 64-bit versions, without any problem (you have a 64-bit processor). The problem is that Apple only supports a 32-bit Windows 7 version for your Mac. Why? Because Apple wanted to drop the Windows 8 support for the computer you are using.
You can see in this page all the Macs compatible with 64-bit Windows editions > http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1846 As you can see, your Mac isn't supported, so you can only install a 32-bit Windows 7 version with Boot Camp if you want to run Windows correctly.
I told you at the beggining that you can install any 32 or 64-bit Windows 7 and Windows 8 versions on your Mac because your iMac meets the requirements for both editions. However, you need the Boot Camp drivers to make Windows run properly, and here's where Apple has dropped a lot of computers, making them unusable if you install a version that Apple clasifies as unsupported. Installing both CS3 and CS4?

I teach photography in high school. Our laptops will have CS4, but desktops can only accept CS3. My teacher laptop, that I use for demos, has 4GB RAM and can handle both CS3 and 4. Can I install both or will I have operating problems?

Both can be on the same machine without conflict.
For fewer confilcts suggest you do not have Bridge autoload on Statrup, as only one Bridge version can be running.

Can CS3.3 & CS4 Master play nice installed on same machine at same time?

First off here are the specs on my desktop and laptop:
Desktop:
Mac Pro running OSX 10.5.6 - 2 x 3 GHz Dual-Core - 6 GB RAM - CS3.3 Master Collection currently installed
Laptop:
MacBook Pro running OSX 10.5.6 - 2.4 GHZ Intel Core 2 Duo - 2 GB RAM - CS3.3 Master Collection currently installed
I recently received all the install discs for CS4. Spent the last hour researching how CS3 and CS4 play together when installed on same machine at same time. I haven't found anything that addresses my questions, thus the post.
At present, not enough of my work colleagues have CS4, so if I install CS4 and uninstall CS3 - and need to pass a file on to someone who doesn't have CS4, they can't open it in CS3.
Also, I use AfterEffects with many 3rd party plugins. Until I can verify that CS4 plays nice with these plugins, I can't afford to uninstall AfterEffects CS3. Obviously, I need to keep CS3 up and running on my desktop and laptop.
But now that I have CS4 ready to install, I of course want to start using it and learning the new features.
Has anyone successfully been able to install CS4 Master apps on a machine similar to either my desktop or laptop specs and have CS3.3 Master apps continue to work properly?
I trust Adobe takes these types of version overlaps seriously and plans for them since people want to try out or start using the newest version but ensure there is a sufficient overlap period before uninstalling the older versions.

Your old apps will work. But the new versions will be the defaults. You can touch your files to the old application to launch it or launch the old application first, and then open files "normally".
If you need to ensure compatibility with older versions on other machines, don't delete the old apps. Or be prepared to save back to the old version before handing off the files. Note that InDesign cannot save back more than one version and in general, any features used that are new to the new apps will not be recognized when those files are saved back.

First of all, there is no charge of any kind for the Universal Crossword widget or any of the content. Any charges you are seeing are not for this application or for the crossword - if you are seeing charges and think they are for this application, something is wrong. You should look into having those charges cancelled if you do not know what they are for.
Please run through the uninstall and reinstall steps one more time. The uninstall steps are very important - just deleting the icon, for instance, does NOT uninstall the program.
