CS3 download does not install and doc refers me to blank web page

I have downloaded both files to re-install CS3 on my mac.  None of the .DMG doanloads have an installer
that works.  The "Setup" file either reports "insufficient resources" or "contact Adobe."  Attempts to read the
documentation simply results in a google screen.

Safari 5.1.2 still does not allow me to view PDF documents in web pages.  I am running OSX Lion 10.7.2. Any suggestions?

Read here >  Known Issues | Adobe products on Mac OS 10.7 Lion
    And go to ~/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Move the PDF Browser plugin to the Trash.
    Quit Safari, empty the Trash.
Relaunch Safari.  You should be able to view PDF files now.

  • Lens profile downloader does not install profile into LR5

I am trying to install a lens profile for a Canon 400mm 5.6 L lens into LR5. I am using the lens profile downloader 1.0.1 this did install this lens profile to my LR 4 version. It appears to install this lens profile into LR5. However when I look in the lens profile area of LR5, the Canon 400mm 5.6 L profile does not show up. I am running win7 64 bit.

Do not copy your profiles to two different places.  User-created/downloaded profiles will be ignored in the Adobe-application locations and you don't need to duplicate the Adobe-supplied profiles under the Users folder.  This ignoring of user-supplied profiles in the Adobe app folders started some time during the LR4 series.
On Windows 7/8 the following folders are used:
Adobe-supplied lens profiles for Lightroom go under the LR-version\Resources folders:
    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom X.X\Resources\LensProfiles\1.0
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Lightroom X.X\Resources\LensProfiles\1.0 (for 32-bit LR on a 64-bit system)
Adobe-supplied lens profiles for the Camera Raw plug-in used by PS and PSE and PRE go under a ProgramData location:
    C:\ProgramData\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0
User-supplied profiles either created or downloaded go under the Users location and are seen by both Lightroom and the Camera Raw plug-in:
    C:\Users\yourusername\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\CameraRaw\LensProfiles\1.0\Downloaded
where the Downloaded folder seems to hold all the ones I have download for various camea makes and models, and I don't have to seperate them individually by camera manufacturer although it probably doesn't hurt if you have quite a few of them.

  • C7180 Win8.1 Download does not install

I have just upgraded from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1.
I have downloaded and run the Windows 8.1 software and drivers for my C7180 All-In-One.
The files are extracted and I'm presented with the Installer Window.  When I click on "Install" I see a brief image of a CD spinning - then nothing.  The software and drivers do not seem to install.
I have unistalled my previous Windows 8 software - this does not help.
Everything I try seems to take me round the same loop of downloading what appears to be the same file.  I'm stuck.
Please help - running out of hair!

    Hi,
Follow the steps below and check if that resolve the issue:
    1. First be sure to disable any running security software on your PC, If you have Mcafee software apen it. from the Virus and Spyware Protection section click on Schedule and run scans. Click on Real time scanning and then on Turn Off. select till I restart the PC and confirm by clicking the Turn Off button otherwise follow your security software documentation.
Now try reinstalling the HP Software and check if the installation goes as expected.
If the issue persists continue following the next steps below:
    2. Open the run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type %windir% and click on OK.
    3. Type hpoins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpoins1.old)
    4. Type hpwins*.dat into the top search bar, if there are any results rename the extention into old instead of dat. (e.g. hpwins1.old)
    5. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /UNREGISTER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
    6. Launch the Run dialog by clicking both the Windows key and the R key on your keyboard. Type MSIEXEC /REGSERVER into the Run dialog and click on OK.
    7. Run the installation file and check for any difference.

  • Large file download does not start and times out while loading

I've been trying to download movie files from a website and it does not work. When I click on the link, the download begins preliminarily, but does not seem to actually start downloading the file. It stays like this:
The MBs continue to go up for a while, but a download progress bar never appears (just the spinning striped bar) and I never get a time remaining on the download. After a few minutes the download just fails, and it says something like "network error." I've tried it on Chrome, FireFox, and Safari and the result is always the same.
I asked someone at the company about it, and he said they never heard of this problem and that their downloads work for other customers. Is this a problem on my end or their end?
Does anyone know what the problem may be? Is there anything I can do to fix this?

I don't know what route Apple will take. Sure, they can boot it in firewire mode and try to reinstall
the update, but in the interest of time or other factors they may take another route.

  • 9iFS simply does not install and run on WIndows 2000

    hello,
story so far ( sigh. )
    1) install failed but ran ifssetup.bat to complete as per a previous thread suggestion
    2) added log-on-as-batch privilege to administrator ( with which everything is installed and run )
    3) from the EMWeb start node and launch domain work correctly, but start domain fails.
    4) running ifslaunchdc.bat and ifslaunchnode.bat works fine, but ifsstartdomain.bat worked correctly before i rebooted the machine after installing the software, and from then on gives me the following error :
exception IFS-45002 unable to start domain controller,
exception IFS-21008 unable to connect to IFS service
exception IFS-32005 failed to get prepared statement etc
I have seen any number of people here post about this problem, but has any one got a solution !!!???
A number of people mention ensuring the domain controller is started with the correct account details. As i have installed everything as administrator and everything is run with administrator account, I fail to see how this can help. Any help very much appreciated.
I am finding it VERY difficult to understand why it is so problematic to install this software - even the installer fails to complete on a clean machine meeting all the oracle specified criteria.
    Regards
    Tom

Hi, I'm assuming you are using the Manual Install. Did you already Uninstall any current Flash Player version?
If not, download and SAVE to your Desktop the Uninstaller:
    http://kb2.adobe.com/cps/141/tn_14157.html
Then download and SAVE to your Desktop the Installer:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/fp_distribution3.html
Use the EXE Installer for Windows and Internet Explorer. Use the EXE Installer for the plugin based browsers
Then use the Administrator Account and CLOSE all browser Windows. Disable any instant messenger service from the system tray.
Run the Uninstaller and reboot(restart) your computer.
Then Run the Installer and reboot.
That message appears because the IE browser window is open.
    Thanks,

  • Firefox page starts but does not load properly, cannot access toolbars or open web pages

I recently installed the toolbar for MegaUpload. I had issues uploading a file with the program and uninstalled the toolbar. Since then, I cannot use my firefox. Firefox opens to a blank page displaying the menu bar only but I cannot use any of the menu options. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice. I have reset my Norton security as well. SAME PROBLEM HERE. I couldn't find others with this issue so this is a good surprise. I thought about finding a 9 version, looks like I'll be doing that. There is no setting I can change to fix this issue. No add-on to uninstall, I even tried reinstalling the whole app. I load the start screen, but upon going anywhere with the web, it simply doesn't load and remains blank with my URL in the awesome bar.

The Reset Firefox feature can fix many issues by restoring Firefox to its factory default state while saving your essential information.

To Reset Firefox do the following:

  • TS1702 The App, QR Reader W/Ad Remover! Does not install, YES, I followed the FAQ info!

Noprmally, I click on the App, pay for it (If it's not Free!) and click 'install' and it does!  Not this one I even reset the iPhone 5, Because I just purchased it and had EVERYTHING backed up, and still.  "QR Reader" does not install OR work when I click on the Icon!

It is an up-date.  I clicked to install and watched the other app updates install just fine and I have installed several other updates since then, the  QRReader just stares back at me and does not load!  I tried to erase it from iTines and the iPhone and then install again.  The QRReader Updates do not install!  The App does not work, the download does not install and this is making my Galaxy S3 look pretty good right now!  It is on my iPhone and not installing, period!

I can't upgrade from 3.1 to 3.2 Bootcamp, despite multiple attempts to download. it seems to download but the upgrade does not install and I don't know where to look to make it install. Any suggestions?

You are in Windows; you already have inserted your OS X DVD and run SETUP and installled Boot Camp 3.0.x (shows in Windows control panel: Programs and Features.
Start => Apple Software Update (also in Windows) will download and install updates as well.

MichaelAShea which web browser are you using?  Please try a different web browser.  If you continue to face difficulties then I would recommend installing via the Creative Cloud Desktop application.  You can find more details at Install and update apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

  • Elements Organizer 9 does not install with PS Elements

I have installed Photoshop Elements Version 9 on a Windows 7 64 bit system. Photoshop Elements installs and works good... but the Organizer does not install and of course will not load either. I have uninstalled installed and reinstalled several times... still no luck.
I can tell it is not installed because when I look in the Program Files (x86) under Adobe... the Photoshop Elements 9 folder is there but the Elements Organizer 9 is not there.
How can I get organizer installed?
    Thanks...
    Rod

Follow the below link, remove all the entries for PSE 9 from the machine and then try to install again. This time the organizer should get installed.
