CS3 Extended: Photomerge not launching, Error 48

When trying launch photomerge from the Automate menu, I get the following error message:
Error 48: File or folder does not exist.
Line: 37

When trying to launch it from Bridge, I get this:
ReferenceError: strMerge2HDR is undefined
This is a new install of CS3, first time trying to run photomerge. OSX 10.4.10
I noticed another user had same problem posted here in an archived thread, but no solution was given.
Any help greatly appreciated

No, new user account doesn't change result.
Photomerge still won't launch without error from either PS or Bridge.
FWIW, this install of the CS3 production package is running from an external FW hard drive. Don't know if that would have any impact, but I haven't noticed any other problems with the install other than this photomerge problem.

CS3 Illustrator will not launch...help?

CS3 Illustrator will not launch on my MAC 10.4.11 all of the sudden. I created a new user on the same computer and it launches fine. All my main info and updates are on the "main" same computer where as the "new user" computer recognizes the same computer as being basically new. I tried to trash the CS3 prefs and even trashed CS3 in total and reinstalled it to no avail. ANy thoughts. Right now to use CS3 Illustrator I have to switch back and forth on the same computer to use Illustrator. Very frustrating indeed.

Also reset the Preferences two ways hold the sift option command keys while relaunching Illustrator or for a more thorough reset quit Illustrator and trash the following Users/Username/Library/Preferences/Adobe Illustrator CS3 Settings trash the settings folder.
BTW What type manager are you using?

I use Windows XP Home and Adobe PhotoShop CS3 Extended. I have got a problem. I didnt to solve this problem. So i m boring.
My problem is;
* I'm opening PhotoShop Cs3 Extended, and i'm working... I save my work to PSD or JPG format. Later, i cant open this file... This error, could not complete your request because of a program error. Please help me...

have you tried resetting the preferences, per the faq?

Cs3 extended bridge not previewing canon 40d raw files

ok, i just loaded cs3 extended onto my laptop and when i opened bridge the fist time i got a error message that these were not the the right king of file. so my next step was to update ACR to 4.5. i intalled that and put the plugin into files directory. that worked, but now my problem is that bridge will not preview my raw files in bridge. i then went to tool and purge the cache and that also didn't work. so my next step was to update bridge to 2.1.1. so i went back to tool to purge the cache and it still not preview raws in bridge. i converted several to jpegs and they show up in bridge. i am at a loss of what to do next

The ACR plug in has to be in correct folder and only one copy there. If you copied it there the old copy my be present so delete or rename it.
The ACR plug in does not go in the plug in directory.
It goes in Program Files/COMMON Files/Adobe/plugins/CS3/file formats. Should be one file here - Camera Raw.8bi
I think when you get this sorted out it should work.

this is the message I get when i try to launch Adobe Bridge -
I called tech support & although I've spent $$$ for master collection CS3 - and so many other adobe programs/software for myself & others.. they are unwilling to offer any support other than a paid issue, which really chafes.
so here I am, throwing seeds into the wind hoping i can get back to work after wasting a nother day with this this.
there is no phantom instance of Bridge.
I have a wacom tablet. I cannot get to any 'preferences' screen with any combination of ctrl, alt, ****..
Bridge will not launch.

If you can not get the reset window, you are doing something incorrectly.
1. Bridge has to be closed. Check the Task Manager to make sure no copy is running in the background.
2. You have to press and HOLD the Crtl key when you click on the start icon for Bridge.
3. If successful you will get a reset window with 3 options.

My InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop will not launch - error number 213:19

Can someone please help me?
After attempting Launch all three applications I was sent error 123:19 and asked to restart my computer however it has still come up.
What does this mean and how do I fix it

I think this is a permissions issue. Are you using an account with Adminsitrator or restricted permissions?
Are the the applications fully patched? That's helps some users with this error. If you can launch any of the CS5.5 programs you should be ale to launch the Adobe Updater from the Help menu, otherwise try downloading the latest patches manually for each application from the Adobe.com website.
Finally, see http://helpx.adobe.com/photoshop-elements/kb/licensing-problem.html This particular article is for Photoshop Elements, but it appears to be generic in application.
If all else fails, uninstall, run the clean tool (CS Cleaner Tool for installation problems | CCM, CS6, CS5.5, CS5, CS4, CS3) and reinstall.

Blackberry DTM will not launch/error after install

Used to have BB DTM 4.7 installed and working properly. Cleanly removed this before 7.1 download. 4.7 does not work with Outlook 2010 which is why I wanted the upgrade.
Have already tried
clean removals & re-installs x 5 with complete shutdowns in-between
have already tried suggested threads for "cleanly removing & starting over"
extracting exe files to desktop using 7-Zip
verifying presence of .NET framework 3.5 SP1
Installing Visual C++ 2008 Redistributable - x86 9.0xxx
Does anyone out there have a straightforward solution/answer to my errors above please?

ITunes will not launch, Error -200. Sounds works just fine.

I've recently upgraded to Lion and have been using iTunes just fine until early this week. When clicking on the iTunes icon, it bounces and then the -200 Error pops up. I've googled on solutions to this and everything I've read so far points to a hardware error, mainly that there is no audio output availabe. Also many people reporting this error have also said that their QuickTime hasn't worked either. I'm really confused about this because my sound has been working with no problems and I've been able to watch videos on QuickTime as well. I've also tried uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, still would not open. Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I am having the same trouble. Just upgraded to Lion, now I'm getting error (-200) when I try to open it. Sound otherwise works fine.

Help! CS3 InDesign will not launch

Suddenly, I am not able to get my InDesign to open. It starts, then I get the message that the program is closing. What can I try?

You should tell us what OS you are using, and what happened the last time you used ID.
Did it shut down normally?
Have you run any updates of any sort or installed any new fonts since you last successfully started InDesign?
If you get any error message, what is the exact wording?
Without anything further to go on, the best I can offer right now is to tell you to remove all files from the InDesign Recovery Data folder. It will be in your user library on Mac or your user profile under Windows unless you had set your preferences to put it in another location.

CS3 extended: Could not complete the Render Video command . . .

I've tried putting files in several folders, looked through all the settings that are available, watched Russell Browns tutorial several times, nothing works.
The animation plays perfectly (with audio) within CS3 but it will not complete the export>Render Video command.
Any ideas? (using windows XP)

CS3 Extended or CS3 for use with LR?

CS3 Extended refers to an interface to Lightroom; however, I've found I can use CS3 to edit and save back to Lighroom. If all I'm doing is using plugins in CS3 to do noise reduction and sharpening, and CS3 to print, why would I need Extended?

Photoshop CS3 Extended is not intended for still Photography. It would be better used in motion Photography (the Movie Industry). PSCS3 Extended can be used for creative work to compliment Adobe After Effects which does for motion Photography what Photoshop does for still Photography.
