[CS3] Publish problem with no valid HTML templates

Hi,
I have a project file which I have publish numerous times
before without problems. It has come to finally publishing it for
the last time and when I go to publish an error messages comes up
saying...
"no valid HTML templates are avaliable to complete this
operation".
I have reinstalled the app again but still getting the
problem.
Any ideas...

I get to the point where you select Publish Settings in the
file menu but then it comes up with the error message...

I've been using flash8 on my computer without any problems since I've purchased it, until now. Suddenly I'm getting this error message when trying to publish. (it won't let me get to the publish settings)
"No Valid HTML Templates are available to complete this operation"
I've already reinstalled without any success, and have scoured the internet for a solution. It seems others have had this problem in the past but no one has a logic answer on how to fix this. So I come to you, I know my version is dated and not an actual Adobe product, but it was working fine. What could be causing this sudden problem?

It sounds like the user configuration is bad. Please try removing the user configuration folder. Please note that after deleting the user configuration, there are user settings, such as panel position and saved jsapi commands, will be removed or reset so you might want to save the important files you want to reserve in user configuration before removing the user configuration folder.
1. Quit Flash.
2. Delete the following folder:
Win 7 and Vista: HD:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Flash CS5
Win XP: HD:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Application Data\Adobe\Flash CS5
Mac: HD:/Users/<username>/Library/Application Support/\Adobe\Flash CS5
3. Relaunch Flash and see if it fixes the problem.

No Valid HTML Templates

I have installed CS3 Web Premium on a system running Windows
Vista. When I try to access the publish settings or publish a Flash
project, I get the following error: 'No valid HTML templates are
available to complete this operation'.
I called tech support and they said remove CS3 Web Premium
and then reinstall it. I'm trying to avoid that long process. Has
anyone else experience this problem and found a solution?

I too am having the same problem with the "no valid html
templates" message....I have fully uninstalled Flash CS3 and
reinstalled it and still cannot publish without the above error
message. Also when I try loading a new "slide" or "form" from the
welcome screen I get the following error message:
"The default screen types FORM and SLIDE are missing from the
configuration. Please restore them by reinstalling."
I get this even after a fresh install...I have tried
uninstalling and reinstalling twice now( each time takes over an
hour to complete)
so any help in this matter would be much
appreciated...

Problem with links on email templates
Hi,
We have been having issues with links on our email templates. Some of the links point to the following URL:
http://server'sname/thirdparty/FCKeditor/editor/fckeditor.html?InstanceName=emailTemplatesDTO.htmlBody&Toolbar=NewscaleFCKEditorToolBar#URL
Sometimes we get “Unknown internal error” on the web page.
Can anyone help or advise on how to resolve this issue?

Hi Wesley,
This is rather late, but we've seen the same thing frequently (and I believe can replicate it). It's caused when you a creating a new email by copying the content of an existing one with a name space in it.
Upon copying, the link gets scrambled. The approach we use is to copy the email in to a new template, then strip out all of the URL links and add them back in.

Problem with Item Validation

and I have a problem with item Validation.
Tutorial offers the following:
You must manually create another validation to ensure that the Actual End Date is the same or later then the Start Date.
To add a validation for the Actual End Date:
1.Under Page Processing, Validations, click the Create icon.
2.For Level, accept the default, Item level validation, and click Next.
3.For Item, select Project Details: 50.P3_ACTUAL_END_DATE (Actual End Date) and click Next.
4.For Validation Method:
a.Select PL/SQL and click Next.
b.Accept the default, PL/SQL Expression and click Next.
5.For Sequence and Name:
a.Sequence - Enter 50.
b.Validation Name - Enter P3_END_AFTER_START.
c.Accept the remaining defaults and click Next.
6.For Validation:
a.Validation - Enter:
to_date(:P3_ACTUAL_END_DATE,:APP_DATE_FORMAT) >= to_date
(:P3_START_DATE,:APP_DATE_FORMAT)
b.Error Message - Enter:
Actual End Date must be same or after Start Date.
c.Click Next.
7.For Conditions:
a.Condition Type - Select Value of Item in Expression 1 is NOT NULL
b.Expression 1 - Enter P3_ACTUAL_END_DATE
8.Click Create.
Is there a mistake in explanation? I did it 3 times already, very carefully! I ran the page, entered the date, which is After the Start date, and get the error message: Actual End Date must be same or After Start Date!!

I got it solved. I don't know if this is documented(or a bug) but what I did was declare an exception and then raise it and put the form_trigger_failure into the exception handler rather than raise form_trigger_failure in the body.

PLEASE HELP - Problem with 2 column fixed template in Dreamweaver CS3

I am trying to create a website using the 2 column fixed, right sidebar, header and footer html template in Dreamweaver CS3. I tried putting a picture in the right side bar as well as with in the main content or left portion of the page, and neither picture is showing up when I view it in any of the browsers I'm using.
I've made some minor changes in colors and sizing, but other than that no other changes. The pic I put in for the header is showing up just fine though.
Any help or advice to solve this issue would be greatly appreciated.

Application Express 3.1 + BI-Publisher + problem with formating numbers

Hello together!
I use the Oracle BI Publisher Template Builder for Word (10.1.3.4) to generate RTF-Templates. I upload these templates in Oracle Apex (Advanced support-->BI-Publisher/OC4J as print service).
It works well, but I have a problem with formating numbers.
In Template Builder I define following number formats, for example: #.##0 for numbers like 1.454.234 and #.##0,00 for numbers like 54,80
In Template-Builder Preview it looks well.
But whatever I do, in use with Oracle Apex dots and comma are allready interchances in the printout.
That means,
1.454.234 become 1,454,234 in PDF-Report
54,80 become 54.80 in PDF-Report
Other than that, the layout is exactly the same like in Template Builder defined.
What's wrong?
Do I have to change any country parameter?

I also had the same problem. I tried with normal formating of 99g99g999d99 instead of ##,##,##0.00 and it has resulted correct way.

Help! Problem with Struts tag html:errors/

can u post the java code where u are actually adding the error to the action errors. may be there is something wrong with that. I dont see any problem with the jsp or the applicationsResources.properties.

Problem with date validation

The enclosed trivial sample illustrates a problem I'm experiencing with validating dates
The date field is initialized when the form opens.
Once the form is open, click the button and a popup appears saying there is a validation problem with the date field. Yet if the date is selected with the date selection widget the appearance is exactly the same, but without the validation problem. What's going on?

OK, I've solved this, but I am hoping some kind person can tell me why I solved it.
On the trivial form I enclosed before before, the "click" script used to say
xfa.forms.recalculate(1);
Now I've changed it to
xfa.forms.recalculate (0);
And I no longer see the undesired date validtion errors when I click the button. (See updated enclosure on this post).
The difference is supposed to be that, if the parameter is 0 (or false) then only "pending" calculation scripts are fired, and if 1 (or true) then all calculation scripts are fired. So what does it mean to my DateTime field having unjust validation errors? The DateTime field has no calculation script, only an iitialize script.

XSLT Mapping - problem with prefixes when calling template

I am having a problem with using an XSLT mapping in XI to combine various fields from 2 input messages of different structures into a single output message. I understand that XI puts a wrapper around the 2 input messages so the structure of the XML I am mapping is:

When testing the stylesheet locally with XMLSpy, it works fine, but I have just noticed that it adds information in the root tag of the target message as follows:
<(root of target message) xmlns:javamap="java:systemDate.CurrentDate" xmlns:ns="http://example.co.uk/example" xmlns:ns2="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
I checked the root tag of the target message in XI and it does not automatically add this information. Thus I added it in my stylesheet so the information above is projected in the target message, but the same error message appears when the call template function is called. Do you know if I need to somehow add a namespace to templates other than the main one? If so, do you know how I go about doing that?

Problem with OData Collection in Template Customization Web IDE

Hi Experts,
I created my simple service in SEGW and I try use it in the application created in SAP Web IDE.
I'm creating new project from menu File, New, Project from Template. I'm choosing SAP Fiori Master Detail Application giving a name of project.
I have a problem with step 3rd - Data Connection and 4th - Template Customization. I can easily select the system (which previously plugged) and the service, but in the next step I have problem. In step fourth I can't add OData Collection for Master or Detail Section.
In my opinion my system is connected properly, because other (any) services allows me to choose a Odate Collection - including those created by me alone in SEGW.
I'll add that service which allow to choose OData Collection was created using BAPI. Service which are posing the problem was created from DDIC Structure, but I don't know if it's relevant. Furthermore, all services created by me have implemented the methods GET_ENTITYSET and GET_ENTITY.
Can You help me?

What's more, my service show data stored in collection dirrectly in browser at

Help with certficates - problems with CSSMERR_TP_NOT_TRUSTED & validating

I'm having problems with my machine, and it appears to be a certificate problem. The problems first started showing up with codesigning and when trying to re-install XCode. I've been trying to understand things through keychain, but I don't know if what I'm seeing is normal or not.
I've got two copies of Apple Root CA and Apple Root Certificate Authority in my keychains (one of each in "System", one of each in "System Roots"). I have no idea if that is normal or if that part of the problem. These all show up with "This root certificate is not trusted". I'm assuming that's OK, maybe that's part of the problem? (They are all have trust set to "use system defaults").
The Apple Worldwide Developer Relations intermediate certificate that I download from Apple doesn't appear to find or trust the Apple Root CA (in keychain, the AWWDR shows "This certificate was signed by an unknown authority, and keychain "evaluate" doesn't find a root certificate, even though Apple Root CA is in the keychain).
Note that the AWWDR certificate says that it's issuer was Apple Root CA, serial number 25, version 3, but the Apple Root CA certificate says that it's serial number 2, version 3. I'm not sure if that makes any difference.
The big problem is that because of what I believe to be certificate problems, I'm getting the CSSMERRTP_NOTTRUSTED error reported when I try to codesign or even when I try to install the iPhone SDK.
I did have my motherboard replaced a couple of months back, but things were working just fine (including codesigning) after that, and suddenly stopped working (I don't know when, I just know that I noticed the problem around Oct 12).
For what it's worth, the error when trying to install XCode (with iPhone SDK) is:

Reinstalling Snow Leopard from the original DVD seems to have cleared up the problem. My Apple Root CA certificate now shows "valid".

CS3 AE: Problem with Template!

I purchased a set of templates for After Effects…they appear to be precisely what I need what there is a strange problem.
There are 14 slots on the timeline but number one repeats! The first image repeats at around 32 seconds...thus creating 15 images total. I have been struggling for two days with this...I assumed that I had inadvertently done something to the template. However, I played the preview video and it does the same thing! The template is perfect for my needs but the repeating image is totally frustrating. To state the problem another way…what image you put in the first slot repeats at about 32 seconds. I suppose I could just chop the end off but that would mean throwing away 25% of the template. And besides, I am just too darned stubborn to give up.
I am less than an expert with AE...I have tried looking in the flowchart to see if I can figure out what is happening but with no luck.

The first thing to do is look at the Edit Comps Image 01 in the Project Panel. You'll see that it's used 2 times. Right click on the comp and it will reveal the two comps that it's used in.
Now check out layer 7 in the Comp1 precomp. That's where all of the animation takes place. There's the second copy of the pre-comp where image 1 is used. There's an error in the template. You could easily fix it by duplicating one of the Image precomps and dropping a new image in it, then replacing Image one in Image 01 Precomp Final 2.

Problems with check printing RTF template

To BI Publisher Gurus,
I am working on the check printing RTF template and facing a few issues with page breaks, filling the insufficient invoice lines with template and positioning of the table(s) itself inside the RTF template.
For page break, am using the following piece of code just before the end of all of my FE loops.

the $inner_group is my group for G_INVOICES to loop through all the invoices of a check in G_CHECKS group.
The problem I'm facing is, everytime a check is printed its printing a blank page in between. Searched all the earlier forum posts but none of the solutions worked in my case.
Second issue, for filling the insufficient invoice lines (in my case, am printing 26 invoices per page per check), the call to the blank lines template is repeating twice and found no way to get rid of it.
Third issue, if the check is running into a second page, the call to the blank lines template does not work and the position of the bottom part of check is getting misaligned.
I am ready to send my template and the sample XML file to look at. Thanks for your time and effort.

Also I have problem in generating dots(....) in the check where if total invoices lines are 37 and we have only one line of invoice then I have to generate 36 dots (.) in the invoice porition of the check..
