CS3 to Creative Cloud

If I choose the special offer (https://creativecloud-specialoffer.adobe.com/special-offer/?loc=en_GB&cc=ie), can I still use my CS3 package in future or does it work like an upgrade and my CS3 will be deactivated?

I believe it's just a special offer, not actually an upgrade.
Considering you're allowed to continue running your previous apps alongside Creative Cloud, that leads me to believe it doesn't deactivate your previous license.

Need some help with CS3 or Creative Cloud

I just bought a new camera and CS3 doesn't recognize my RAW files from the new camera. I tried to download the updates but my computer doesn't recognize the update files. SOO I decided to try out the creative cloud and the new CS6 but nothing will download (not even the Adobe Download Assistant) and I am getting an error message saying that my operating system doesn't meet the minimum requirements. Can someone please help!?
There has got to be some way to update my software or my OS without costing me a bunch of money!
FYI I have a Mac OS X 10.5.8, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo processor, and CS3 version 10.0.1... PLEASE HELP!

Yes, CS6 requires OSX 10.6 at least and Apple sell updates to OSX via the app store for 30 bucks. Just be aware that this is a one way road - after the update, CS3 will no longer be usable and you will have to get CS6. However, your Mac seems to be quite old and may not qualify for either - not CS6, not an OSX upgrade.

I just updated Creative Cloud and it disappeared from my desktop. In my profile, there is no longer a subscription to Creative Cloud--Just Photoshop for CS3 customers. What is going on?

A few minutes ago I got a Creative Cloud update notification. I ran the update and Creative Cloud disappeared from my desktop. What happened? I still have Photoshop CC and Bridge CC. I just had an online Chat with Adobe Support, and we uninstalled CC Desktop and reinstalled it. That fixed the problem. I have no idea what CAUSED the problem though.

The CS3 discount offer is only for retail online product, it does not include education or volume license purchases. Refer to Terms and Conditions | Adobe
To check whether you had retail CS3 purchase, we need proof of purchase as well as serial number, without which the issue can not be resolved.

We will suggest you that first upgrade the windows to windows 8, then try to install Creative Cloud. which is also recommended

You may want to re-download the plugins from where you bought them and install them fresh for CS6. Or at a minimum check to see if new CS6 versions are available. The underlying architecture changed for plug-ins when CS6 was released. Some developers had to re-write CS6 versions. Some may work, while others may have had to be updated to work with CS6.

Why am I ineligible for Creative Cloud Complete when I have serial numbers for CS3 products??

I am trying to purchase Creative Cloud Complete for $29.99, as I have previously purchased Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign CS3, and have the serial numbers. However, when I entered the serial numbers on the form to order Creative Cloud, it said I was not eligible, but had no explanation why.

You can change the language with Creative Cloud, but I don't know if such is possible with your very old CS3

No, you do not need to uninstall CS3 before installing CC. You should still be able to use it (not sure if there will be any issues though).
What you might try before buying is installing CC as a 30 day trial. That will make things clear without having to chance the investment.
