CS3 Vista Will Not Start

Question

I'm running CS3 Dreamweaver on an HP laptop (32 bit). DW was
working when I received a 'catastrophic error' message. I've spent
time on several calls with tech support, including a complete
uninstall/re-install. As it sits now, when I try to launch DW,
nothing happens from a user perspective. It does launch a process
(dreamweaver.exe), but I don't see any application at all.
I saw some references in the forum to DST issues, and I
checked out the winfilecache file that should be in ->
Dreamweaver CS3 on Windows Vista:
C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Dreamweaver
9\Configuration.
In my case, the 'Configuration' folder did not exist. I
created a folder with that name, but it still did not help.
Although DW was working immediately prior to the
'catastrophic error' message, I've had numerous problems since
upgrading to Vista.
Any suggestions? Thanks!

You cannot have DW previously installed and running without
having that
Configuration folder. It's normally hidden within the AppData
folder. Are
you sure you unhid it?
