Cs3 won't let me "place" files anymore. Can someone help me?

Yes I am still using cs3 and it has just recently stopped letting me "place" files.
Does anyone have a suggestion how to fix this??

What happens when you choose file>place? Do you get a dialog box that doesn't let you choose what to place, or does nothing happen at all, or something else?

Quit Safari completely, clear Safari and reboot the iPad.
Go to the home screen first by tapping the home button. Double tap the home button and the recents tray will appear with all of your recent apps displayed at the bottom. Tap and hold down on any app icon until it begins to wiggle. Tap the minus sign in the upper left corner of the Safari app icon. Tap the home button or anywhere above the task bar.
Go to Settings>Safari>Clear History, Cookies and Data.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

Flash CS3 won't let me use the timeline! Need help!

I have no idea what I did. I think I pushed a diffrent button while pushing ctrl-Z, but now my timeline or the layer in the timeline is covering my keyframes and it won't let me uncover them..
I've tried moving the cursor over to the side and draging it back but it dosen't work..

First try a Reset ( No Data will be Lost )

Since Mountain Lion, Kitabu won't read any old or new epub files. Can someone help? Is there a compatible Epub reader for mountain lion?

In Addition, I have deleted the old epubs that I had before I upgraded to mountain lion but the epub books still shows in the Kitabu Menu although it will not open them. When I open the books they are all blank.

I am having .dmg files issues can someone help?

I have mds loaded on my macbook air. I had no problems downloading dmg files until I upgraded to Lion. Here is the error:
"MDS DWNLDA WOODGRAIN STAMP BRUSH Installer" is damaged and can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.
in smaller letts and grayed out it says:
"MDS DWNLDA WOODGRAIN STAMP BRUSH Installer" is on the disk image "MDS DWNLDA WOODGRAIN STAMP BRUSH.dmg". Safari downloaded this disk image today at 10:17pm from ec2-50-112-2-55.us-west-2.compute.amazonaws.com
cannel or eject disk image.
I have been using mds and downloading art work since I have had my macbook air for 2 years, it is not an amazon file so I am not sure why amazon is showing up. Please help as I don't know what to do and I know for a fact that the file is not damaged. I have downloaded and loaded this file in the past. Sorry, but you cannot use that card with a Canadian iTunes Store account. A gift card is valid only in the country of purchase. You'll need to give or sell that card to someone in Spain.

Hi. About the Forms configuration formsweb.cfg file. Can someone help me ?

I have migrated 6i to 10g and need to start the application in new window. I have setup formsweb.cfg, in lookandfeel=Genric and separateframe=true. When i go to the start url, it opens new window but doesnt close the parent window. How can I close the first window?

You can't. As soon as you close this window, the forms-session will also close. What you could do is to move the window to some position outside the screen using java-script.

Macbook Pro won't let me move files to HD without authentication. Also when I try to move files from the HD to the desk it just copies them.

My 2013 Macbook Pro running Mavericks 10.9.5 won't let me move files to the HD without authentication. So I have to keep putting my password in. Acrobat/adobe won't let me convert files

It keeps telling me I have to buy the program. I pay for the Cloud on a monthly subscription and I really need to get this file converted so I can make changes for a meeting tomorrow!

I am logged in and am registered. It will simply not let me convert most PDF's to word, whether I open it with adobe, acrobat or pro 11. When I download documents from the school library, I can convert them, anything else I can't. And I really need to. What else can I try?

When you close Adobe Acrobat and launch it again if this is not registered yet.
It will ask you to either use serial number or you may see option subscribe .
You can choose subscribe or register and use your Adobe Id (email id registered with Adobe). As you said you have already purchased subscription then you should be able to activate the subscription the moment you
login with your Adobe id.

Mac won't let me move files into a folder bc it THINKS there are duplicate files - but they're not. There are hundreds of what it thinks are duplicates. How can I get it to let me put them all into a folder and create unique names? If I do one file at a time, it gives me the option to keep both files. But not when I am moving hundreds at a time.

A reply to an old problem, but I couldn't find this solution anywhere. I had the same problem when I moved my iTunes library to an external drive. As Apple recommends, I used File > Library > Organize Library > Consolidate Files to copy my music files from my overstuffed hard drive to the external drive. Copying went fine for a while, adding about two-thirds of my files to the new drive without incident. Then I got the big stop sign with the error message: "Copying files failed. The disk could not be read from or written to."
This turned out to have nothing to do with either the hard drive or the external disk. I had a bad file in my music library that was shutting down the consolidation process. Unfortunately the error message says nothing about which file may be the culprit. All I could think to do was to go back to my original library in iTunes and sort by Artist, select all cuts with artists beginning with A, right click and select "Consolidate Files". Then do the same with B artists, etc. Proceeding this way, files resumed copying but when I got to the "S" selections, the consolidate process failed again. Then I selected smaller and smaller batches until the problem file was identified. Removed it from my library and then Consolidate worked fine through the rest of the library. Problem solved.
I spent several days working through this; hope I can save someone else the time.

The Flash Disk must be NTSF formatted. Writing to NTFS requires 3rd party drivers (Tuxera, Paragon). Reading from NTFS however does not require these. So install NTFS drivers, or format the drive in FAT32 from Disk Utility.
