CS4/5 crashes on snow leopard

Question

Hi,
I recently formatted my iMac (2.66GHz Intel Core 2 Duo / 4GB memory) and installed Snow leopard. I then installed CS5 and photoshop and illustrator would crash, then I realized bridge didn't open at all. So i uninstalled CS5, used the adobe cleaner tool and the installed CS4 which is what I had beofre running on LEOPARD and was running fine. But now indesign cs4 doesn't open at all. It crashes immediately. I read it was a bug from mac, i contacted them and they said its Adobe who has to answer. Please help. I have been two days formatting, installing and uninstalling.

I have sent many crash reports to Adobe automatically. The 2000 character limit Adobe Bug Report Form choses on crash reports.
It only crashed once since I stopped saving linked compositions in AE from "Premiere Pro" with a numerical filename .. such as "car 1."
Still .. the linked compositions in PP get corrupted after PP quits and is restarted, and another linked composition is 'saved' in AE.
Adobe Tech Support has watched me live .. via a "web broadcast" reproduce the bug .. but has yet to solve it.
This is a bug I reported on Jan 28 using the Adobe Master Suite 5 Demo.
I thought it would be fixed in 5.5
I have confirmed from another user:
"my work suite does sometimes "mix up" multiple linked AE comps in PPro, which I find annoying.  (I.e., if I have two linked AE comps from different AE projects on a PPro timeline, PPro sometimes treats both as the same link.)"
I cannot get 5.5 to work properly on my Macbook Pro running Tiger 10.5.8. The Dynamic Links do not work at all after saving and quitting PP. The linked compositions read ' Media Pending ' and the Activity Monitor shows no effort by the CPU or the Disk I/O to resolve it.
