So I want to have the look of a table three columns row (possibly stacked more on) . kinda like this. I can make the box in css with a new rule but i'm having trouble putting content in it. I can put text on the first line but when i press enter to go down a line it takes me out of the box. also need things to line up nicely. on my page I have header side bar with spry menu bar

Also, for what it's worth... tables are slowly being phased out as the css styles are progressing and becoming the preferred page styling tool, but it is still possible to use tables on your page - and those tables can be used as just the "shell" and all attributes (background color, fonts, etc) can still be determined by css if preferred. Tables ain't dead yet, and CS4 still has all of the tools in place to use them if that is what you're more comfortable with...
*Please note: Before I receive a flood of contradictory responses - I do recommend learning css and using the link pziecina provided as a starting point... just saying tables still are recognized across all browsers and still a viable option...

1) Make sure that your project is in the same aspect ratio as your camera. If your camera shoots 16:9. make a 16:9 project.
2) Check the clip inspector for the clip in your project to see if Image Stabilization is turned on. Stabilization works by zooming in, so you may want to turn it off.

Hi, I am getting trouble with creating the summary from 2 separate tables. These tables dont have any link together but they have the same fields, such as: part id, qty, etc. I need to create a report that displays whole the information from these tables and also the summary of total qty field of these tablesAny idea to organize this report? Update Planning table but need to restart Web application server

Hi All,
We want to update the process state externally. After updating table, Windows services (Web application server) need to be restarted.
However, the updating operation could be done frequently so that we can get real-time result. How to notify Planning application to refresh its data without restarting services ?
Any ideas or suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,
Planning uses a caching system where it caches the current state of the relational tables. If changes are made in planning then the cache is updated and the tables.
If you update the tables directly the cache will not be updated so planning will still hold its previous state. I don't think there is an easy way round this and there is no simple update cache procedure.
If you do need to update tables directly then the only sure way of clearing the cache is to restart the web app.

Moved iWeb before MobileMe shut down but need new host, please help

Hello all,
I successfully moved my iWeb site to a new host before MobileMe shut down and I remember a discussion offering lots of hosting sites that were good and free and some for pay. I cannot find that discussion or the sites, although I thought I bookmarked them, there was one I even called and they were great but I can't find that bookmark UGHHHH.
So can you all please recommend me your faves and how good their customer service it. I am using NYPWH.com and have been for years for a site I never changed and now that I have to do some stuff to the new iWeb site, I find they are a little impatient with me, especially as technically challenged as I am.

Each of the web hosting companies that were mentioned, are unique in their own ways. I just wanted to clear up a couple of things to hopefully give you a better idea of which host might suit you best.
First, godaddy is a powerhouse in the domain registration and hosting department, but what I've noticed over the last little while is a large increase in price. I used to recommend GoDaddy to users who are price senstitive but now I advise against.
The other thing that concerns me about some of the other hosts is that they often offer introductory rates to entice their buyers. Once a user signs up and uses their services for 3 months, 6 months, 1 year, 2 years, 3 years, whatever it may be, the user will often have to pay a much higher rate when that introductory term is over. This is something I personally do not like, and as a consumer, I don't think it's a very fair way to get people to use a service. And the most important thing for an iWeb user, is that these big companies don't really know iWeb very well.
MacMate is more of a MobileMe replacement, and a better option for iWeb users who will want to take advantage of customer support geared towards an iWeb user. I like that they saw a need for a MobileMe replacement and are delivering. Their price is a bit high though, but still in line with the second-term prices of some of the other companies.
Rage software does offer all of the services of an ordinary host. So I think there was some mininformation there. The things I like about Rage is they've been a pretty big part of the iWeb community for many years, so their support team knows iWeb in and out. A quick look at their price shows that they are actually one of the cheaper hosts ($5/month on the 3 year term, no introductory rate or more expensive rate upon renewal). They also provide their well known iWeb SEO Tool software for free to their hosting customers, which is a pretty big bonus in my opnion. So to summarize, I'm not really fond of those bigger companies that offer the introductory rates and then jack the prices when the user needs to renew. I like the idea of MacMate, and it seems like a good alternative solution to MobileMe to users who don't mind paying a bit extra to receive similar services to MobileMe. I like Rage because of price, iWeb support, and the free software, so they would be my recommendation. Use Rage software and dropbox if you're a user looking to replace iDisk. It's free, fast, syncs with all your computers, iPads, iPhones, etc.
I hope this was helpful and gives users a better idea about the hosting companies that are out there.

Then when I tried to use firefox, I got the firefox is running but not responding. tried following directions to do the profile fix, but when I tried to click on the firefox tab, I got the running but not responding message. Soooooo could not even try to uninstall because of getting the same error message. Get error message if I tried the safe mode start. Tried restarting, shut down and start. still same message.

Hi Folks!! I am here just like most of you are...to rebuild my credit. Here is a little bit of back ground.
I am 23 now and got my first credit card at 18 not knowing anything about credit. Just like most of the teen agers, i got 3-4 credit cards. Maxed out blah blah. I got into an accident, thought I paid all the medical bills. 7 months later i found i forgot one. It had gone to collections. At that point, i was dumb, i stopped paying for everything. 3 years later, i realized I need to grow up and get a better score. Paid of most of the collections in full and some settled. A few of them actually took it completely off my credit so its gone now. Credit score went from 460 something average to about 560 for experiean, 642 transunion and 642 Equifax based on Credit Karma.
Got an account with a very reputable credit union California Coast Credit union and also Navy Federal. Opened the following accounts based on my sitaution and how much I know about credit now.
CapOne: $500 secure card as soon as I paid off the collections.
CapOne : $500 regular card offered after 3-4 months of regualr payments.
California Coast: $1000 Secure Installment Loan. Navy Federal: $2900 credit card offered when i joined, accepted it.
Navy Federal: $14000 credit card cosigned with my parent.
Navy Federal: $27k auto Loan cosigned with mom and another $12k loan cosgined which are both actually my own cars. Just refinanced them now under my name too.
Income at the moment is about 60-70k. I am making sure i keep the total balance on credit cards under 30%. Now my questions are.
What tips can you guys give me?
Do i have to keep balance under 10-30% at all times or can I pay them off at the end of the month? Can the balance be liek 40-50% mid month and be paid off at the end of the month? This way i can charge everything to credit card instead of debit and pay at the end.
What happens if i pay off the installment loan ahead of time? Does it hurt me or benifit me?
Is cosigner as good of an imapct as being the main owner on CC or Car loan?
I have heard that i need to make 13 on time payments to be able to get a huge boost in my credit via auto/installment loan, Is that true? What if i sell the car before that and pay it off?

Thank you very much!!! Since you have an auto loan, the additional secured loan does not help your FICO scores. Pay it off and use that 1K for your emergency saving fund. You only need one installment loan for the credit mix portion of your scores. You could close the secured Cap One card and get a QS1 card in its place.

I purchased an itune. It has me Authorize and I do and it keeps coming back saying Authorize again. My other tunes will play but not that one? Help from anyone would be great.

Adding an html comment causes entire table to disappear in CC Design view

Doing some tweaks to a page in the html editor in DW CC and adding a simple comment  causes the extensive table beneath it to disappear from the design view pane. But the html is still there in the html editor and the page still appears correctly in a browser. Refresh Design View does nothing. At first I kept Undo'ing it to get back to where I was before adding the comment. Then I thought maybe if I saved the doc after adding the comment it would refresh correctly, but it didn't. Quitting and rebooting DW doesnt help.
What gives? Now the Design view table is gone. I can't work like this, without seeing the page I'm working on...
I can make this same thing happen over and over - which seems to indicate a bug in DW CC...
I know you pro's are anti-tables but I'm stuck with tables right now...

Ok I understand about dl'ing files, np. Heres the page in progress: {link temporarily removed} with 2 duplicate table elements below the first, one in the center I was adjusting/adding comment DW has disappeared, the other at bottom intact for backup. Here's what the disappeared version looks like in DW:

The layout is simple and DW shouldn't prevent me from doing this: I know it could be done with div's and CSS but I'm not going to practice and perfect that for this right now, its already torture enough using DW for this simple thing. It needs to stay as nested tables.
Despite any method of working - adding a comment should not create this hassle.

How to refer to fact table to update the same fact table

Here is my scenario. Fact table is having measures basic_sal, Tax, net_sal with dimension key to employee dimension.
I neet to update the net_sal = basic_sal - tax in fact table.
I tried to do a map with fact_table as source and also target. but after deploying the map, it's not updating the net_sal to the existing rows. It's inserting the new rows with dimension key and net_sal columns. so now fact table is having the double the existing rows.

We have some experience that updating a table while using that same table as source often takes a lot of time... Specially when the table contains a lot of data (which is mostly the case with fact tables).
You can use two solutions. Expand the mapping u use to fill the fact table... The calculations looks not that complex to me... But I could be wrong.
Other solution is to create a temp table where you store all sal types. You could load the fact table from this temp table. Disadvantage of this solution is maintenance of the temp table...

Retaining row selection in a new table which uses the same model.

hi can anybody help me
actually i have a table which allows multiple selections.like it allows to select row1 & row 4 if
there are 5 rows.Now on click of a button i show a dialog with another table but with the same model
applied to it.
now my problem is that iam not able to make the selction of 1 & 4 rows in the new table.
if i use a selectSingleRow in a for loop only 4rth row is getting selected.
if i use a selection interval method it selects all the 4 rows from 1 to 4.
is there any way i could select only the 1st and the 4rth row ?

No; but then, I've not had occasion to use TDM. I've been using firerwire drives for over 10 years, both FW400 and FW800, with no issues except a bit of instability using a B&W G3 machine.

The download itself is free and is valid for 30 days only. After that, the software ceases to work.
CS4 is pretty old, no longer sold and no longer supported by Adobe. It's also not compatible with many modern OSes.
Why do you have to work with such an obsolete version of Photoshop?
What kind of "designer" uses it?
