CS4 Application Error Message

HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have just recently installed CS4 on my work computer. The first day I recieved this error message:
"The instruction at '0x0e4c2c5b' referenced memory at '0x00000028'. The memory could not be read." The program immediatly shuts down causing me to lose all my work.
My IT guys uninstalled the program and reinstalled and yet I still receive the error everytime I open the program.
Any ideas?

Unfortunately the right hand menu is only visible in the overview window, not when you are reading a message.

You either have to physically delete (or rename) the preference files or, if using the Alt, Ctrl, and Shift method, be sure that you get a confirmation dialog.
This resets all settings in Photoshop to factory defaults.

Custom JCA Adapter / Application Error - Message.setErrorInfo() ??

I was looking for how to create a sensible Application Error in a custom JCA adapter and was excited to find the following page in the PCK info on Adapter Development:

The following methods are available to enable you to read error information in the form of an ErrorInfo object from the message, or to set the error information in a message.
Message.getErrorInfo()
Message.setErrorInfo()
If the synchronous response message is an application-error message instead of an application response, it must call setErrorInfo(myErrorInfo) for receiver adapters.
However, I can't find these methods, or indeed the "ErrorInfo" object anywhere in the AF classes - does anyone know it's whereabouts? Or is the above page just out of date? If so, what is the new approach for creating Application Level Errors in a custom JCA Resource adapter (not Exceptions - I can do that)

Well, you can get the latest jars from the SMP (Service Marketplace) directly. These jars are in the XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK CORE 3.0 component. Basically, http://service.sap.com/swdc then Support Packages and Patches->SAP NetWeaver->SAP NETWEAVER->SAP NETWEAVER 04->Entry by Component->J2EE Adapter Engine (PI/XI). There you'll see the XI ADAPTER FRAMEWORK CORE 3.0 link.

I need help with an application error message

AcroRd32.exe.- application error message appears. It states that The instruction @"0x60006db6" referenced memory at "0x60006db6". The memory could not be "read". Click OK to terminate program.

Please try to repair the Installation from control Panel-> Add Remove Programs-> Adobe Reader-> Repair.

RoboHTM.exe - Application Error message

In one of my RH5 projects, I'm getting the RoboHTML.exe
Application Error message "Instructions at ...referenced memory at
... . The memory cannot be read. Seems to happen when I try to
create a new template or when I try to change the template assigned
to a specific topic.
Each time the project crashed, I tried to recreate the same
template but it was already there. So I tried importing it but that
didn't work.
Although I'm using FlashHelp, which reports the hhp file as
"unused." I tried Peter Grainge's suggestion regarding deleting xpj
and cpd files and then using the hhp file to recreate my project
files. This was fine except all of the templates that I had created
vanished from the template folder. Because they were missing from
the Templates folder, I was again confused as to what I should do
as far as deleting or importing the templates to ensure that my
version info displayed in the topic footers..
I want to convert this project to Rh6 but am hesitant to do
so until I've debugged the problem with this intermittent
error.

This has been covered in the forums before, but instead of searching, try this:
Search for the file "cmsnxeye.exe" yields three locations:
1) C:\Program Files\TARGUS\ACP50\Driver\CMdrv
2) C:\windows\system
3) C:\windows\prefetch\cmsnxeye.exeXXXXX.pf
Delete the files in BOTH 2) and 3) and reboot. Let the board know how you do.

Hi, can anyone help. I have had numerous application errors which result in the PS CS4 shutting down unexpectedly. 1 such error message: "The exception unknown software exception (0xc000000d) occurred in the application 0x78138a8c". It happens repeatedly when I try and create Brushes, when I open normal jpg files, when I create new file. There seems to be no direct correlation between an action and a crash. (I have worked on CS2 with nothing like this ever happening.) Thanks in anticipation.

Always use a search engine to search the verbatim text of an error. Often that yeilds a clue. For yours read this to see if it applies to your issue. Time for research on your part. HTH.

ITunes 7.1 won't start, invalid Win32 application error message comes up

I repeatedly tried to download iTunes 7.1 for my new iPod nano on my Windows XP, when the download completes and I try to run the program an error message comes up stating that iTunesupdate.exe is not a valid Win32 application...I have tried erasing iTunes completely then re-downloading it, tried re-intsalling but nothing works. I have been trying to get help for the past month now, no one seems to know anything, this is the last resort please help ASAP.

From time to time i get the following error message and I'm forced to shut Illustrator down:

Does anyone know what this means? This also occurs sometimes when I'm trying to select a font... for example Impact.. which isn't visible. Is the font corrupt? If so how do I go about obtaining a replacement? Whats going on here?

Photoshop CS4 - Application Error

I just installed the CS4 Creative Suite 4. Everytime i try to launch photoshop cs4 i recieve an "Photoshop.exe Application Error." This error refferences 0x6963561b and that memory cannot be read at 0x0000008c. Can anyone please help me with this?? I have not even been able to use photoshop yet. I have already tried uninstalling and reinstalling the suite and I get the same results... Please help.

You don't have the correct secrutiy privileges:
You have to install PS as Admin on Vista/Windows 7. When you first install the software don't run it. Go to your DVD drive and explore. Look for the PS folder and find the .exe install file. Right click on this and choose run as Admin. (there is a difference between being a admin on a computer and installing software in the Admin mode)
So when you first start PS in Vista/Windows 7 you have to run the software in Admin mode to get all the privileges.
Right click on the PS icon, choose properties, compatibility tab and then check Run this program as an administrator. Click Apply then OK to close. Then restart PS.
Don't forget to update PS CS4 to 11.01.

Photoshop CS4 .png Error Message

Hi,
I was just browsing through some of my research folders, and came across an image that i wanted to open. The file is a .png and is 2048x1323, 7.75MB, and previews fine in Windows Fax Viewer. However, when i went to open this in Photoshop CS4 Extended 11.0.1, i got an error message shown below:

"Could not complete your request because the file-format module cannot parse the file."
Any help on what this means and how to sort it out? At first i wondered if somhow the image wasn't supposed to be a .png, so i changed it to .jpg, but then i had the expected error of it noticing it isn't a jpg, and .jpg is the only other file format it could possibly be.

Today I ran into a simular problem. It was a Tiff though and would not open in PS CS4 with the parse error. May sound weird but I could open it in Corel Paint shop pro X2 with no problems. So when I opened it in X2 I "saved as" the file as a PSD and closed out. Then I opened CS4 and the photo opened just fine. I am sure there is a better way but I didn't have the time to try it. I will mess around with the TIFF file tomorrow to see what is going on.

This is a strange behavior, and I guess I have a couple of comments. TestStand works fine with Windows NT 4.0 but it needs at least Service Pack 3 installed. So make sure you have the SP installed.
In addition, make sure you use an administrator account when you install TestStand. Finally, you can try to install it on a different computer with the same OS just to make sure the CD is OK. If it works in the other computer, then there is something wrong with the original PC.

We just installed 5.1 on our server and once the application is installed.
When I try to modify the aplication I get this error at the end
This is step what the modify app does:
Check environment information
Drop Fact table index.
Modify fact table.
Update application information.
Set Fact table index.
Create stored procedures and comment table.
Increase application version and make legal consolidation table.
Make OLAP database and Journal/Audit reports. / Validate dimension formulas.
Error Message:: Object Variable or With Block variable
Any one has any any answer ? I will appreciate your help on this.

Please check if Reporting Services is working properly.
Just open IE and type http://nameofserver/reports
If you receive any error then you have to fix that error verifying configuration of RS.
If RS is working make sure you add the right information into Server Manager Server Option for RS and Report Server virtual directory.
Also please check the tblappsetinfo to have all the fields completed (regarding servers).

Application Error message takes more time in ECC

Hi All,
I am working soap to proxy synchronous scenario. when call is success i am able to get the response immediately from ECC within 2 to 3s.
when there is any application error in ECC it is taking more time to send back the fault message to SAP PI. more than 1 min(65s).
i tested the same payload in the sproxy in ecc. for application error it gives the fault message within 2s.
but when it comes to end to end testing ECC is taking more time to send the fault message to PI.
Please let me know if you have any suggestion to overcome this issue.

Abap team debugged and found out that there was an issue with RFC in ECC system.
RFC connection was not working. it was causing the flow to wait for 1 mins. Basis fixed the issue to make RFC working. now interface works without connection time out.
