CS4 - Can View .JPEG in PS but not anyplace else

I have no idea what is going on with my computer and I don't know if this is a PS issue or not.
I use a Nikon D90 in RAW format for taking images.
I download them into Bridge.
I open them in ACR and save them after a few edits as a .jpeg file.
I can open them in PS and I can edit them, including file size.
I then can't do anything else with them. I attach them to email and no one can view them. I try to post them to a blog and their is no image there. I try to send them to my printer and nothing comes through.
Does anyone have any suggestions?

Well your camera is supported by Camera Raw 6.1 as per this article:

My camera, a Canon, is also supported but I shoot in JPG. (I have had the bad luck of some JPGs going corrupt over time so I agree with you, the article that I gave you is very subjective and opinionated. JPG does not work in all situations and compressed data in computing is not always a good choice unless you are short of hard disk space).
I am surprised that images that worked in the past no longer work. It could be a web browser issue. There may have been a change made in your security settings to disallow the viewing of images. Please check this setting right away to rule out that possibility. You can also troubleshoot different browsers to see if you are having a problem with them.
Short list of common web browsers:
1> Firefox (Mac/PC/Linux)
2> Safari (Mac/PC)
3> Google Chrome (Mac/PC/ I think Linux also)
4> Opera (Mac/PC/I'm sure Linux/Mobile devices)
5> Internet Explorer (PC/Windows Mobile Devices)
6> Camino (Mac)
7> Flock (Mac)
And there are still others but those are the common browsers that I am aware of.

Hi melbernai - not sure if you've solved this problem yet. I had the exact same problem recently with my 2nd Gen iPod Nano. I solved it yesterday by simply updating iTunes to the most recent version, after which I could get rid of the register screen. The only other thing I needed to do to add my custom playlists was select "Manually manage music" on the screen for my iPod, since it had been in an automatic synching mode since the problem occurred.

I need to start connecting computer to tv for viewing EPIX,ETC.. but not through router????? I have a workroom with a TV but without cable connection, so I thought I would connect my computer to my TV. I have an Acer Aspire laptop. and a 27" tv. Please can anyone tell me how to get this to work. I need something to watch while I am working.

I'm a little confused here as to what you're looking for. Are you simply trying to get Internet Connectivity to the computer using the best method possible or are you looking to try and send a signal to the TV without a cable connection going to it? The computer's Internet portion is easy if that is the case. If we can just get some additional information on that, we'll figure out how to approach it.
1: Does this Workroom have any Coaxial cabling going to it that can be connected back to the cabling the FiOS equipment is using?
2: Is Ethernet cabling available and running to the location of the router, or nearby?
3: Would Wireless work for you (as much as it is not ideal)?
4: Are you looking for a Physical connection to the network?
Now if what you're trying to accomplish is the actual connection between the Computer and the TV, check to see what inputs the TV supports (HDMI, VGA, DVI, Component, Composite) and see what the laptop supports (DisplayPort, VGA, HDMI, DVI). More than likely the Laptop would have a VGA connection along with the TV. Your best bet would be to honestly just connect a VGA Cable between the two machines, and then for audio, just use a 3.5" to Composite connection for the TV (Unless the TV has a 3.5" Input jack for the PC Input). If HDMI is available on both devices, by all means use that. Same with DVI as both give better picture quality over a VGA Cable.
If you can give us exact model numbers, that would help.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.

this file goes to notification widget (i drag down screen)
notification/message says download complete
i click on notification/message
nows it says complete action using (here i only have 2 icon options 1= DB Text Editor 2 = HTML Viewer)

Go into Time Machine (the program not the bundle on the extrnal disk) and using Time Machine's browser go to the Folder where the library lives. You could look in the library bundle in Time Machine but that won't really tell you much,
If you want to make sure it truely has backed up your library you will need to restore it and open the restored library with Aperture.
If all this still has you confused you need to read up on Time Machine in order to get a feel for how it works, for what it is doing and for how to restore files from it.

Why can I sync a movie but not TV shows on my nano (7th gen)?

I am using iTunes 11.0 and can sync a movie (Miracle on 34th Street) to my new ipod nano 7th gen but when I try a TV Show (a Planet Earth HD episode) or even a brief video clip taken with my camara I am told that such an action is not permitted on this ipod. So why can I sync a movie but not TV shows on my nano (7th gen)? Thank you.

Before you can sync video files, it must be converted into a format compatible with ipod. If you can’t sync a video convert it by doing the following:
In iTunes, select the video you want to convert. Do one of the following then sync again after:
1) Choose File > Create New Version > Create iPod or iPhone Version.
2) Choose File > Create New Version > Create iPad or Apple TV Version.
I hope this works.

Sounds like you may need to repair the Disk Permissions on your drive where your images are stored.

Unless you are attempting to download a sizable file, 2.7 GB should be more than enough to continue fucntioning. Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray BEFORE doing the reset.

Have you tried to reset it? Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds and see if you can get it to reboot.

Try force iPad into Recovery Mode. Follow step 1 to 6 very closely.

Sorry to hear you are having a similar problem. Last night I went to the tool bar at the top of iphoto, clicked on "File", then clicked "Browse Backups" in the drop down menu.    I have an external hard drive that is set up to Time Machine.   The Browse Backups opened the iphoto pages in the Time Machine. I selected a date one day ahead of the day I performed the now infamous update, and it showed my iphoto library as it had existed that day.   I then clicked "Restore Library" at the bottom right corner of the Time Machine screen.   Roughly 2 hours later my iphoto was back to normal.   When I opened iphoto there was a message saying I need to upgrade my program to be compatible with the new version of iphoto(version 9.2.1). I clicked "Upgrade" and within seconds it had done whatever upgrading it needed to do.
The only glitch in the restoration was that it restored the library as it appeared last week, so I no longer had photos I had imported this past weekend.   I simply went back to the Browse Backups in the drop down menu, when Time Machine opened I selected the page showing my pictures from this weekend and again said to Restore Library.   Roughly 45 minutes later the library was restored including the most recent photos.
I am now a happy camper.
I don't know if any of this will be of help to you because your email says you are having trouble with photos imported after the upgrade was performed.   Have you had any pop up notices when you first open iphoto, that tell you you need an upgrade to be compatible with the new iphoto?     If so have you clicked "upgrade"?
Good luck Liz, if you have Time Machine running as a back up to your library, maybe you wil be able to get help there, by following my instructions above.   Otherwise,   good luck with your investigations.   I'd be interested in hearing how you make out.

Fine, you shoud do do either:
- a group by "acc_total" or
- use an aggregate function on "acc_total" (like: sum(acc_total), max(acc_total) etc.)

Why can I receive text messages but not send. This has been happening for about 10 hours.

Thanks for the response. Must be smart phones. My daughter has a dumb phone and she can send out. I tried deleting my text messages on the Verizon website, but they won’t delete. It must be on their end. Chat line was busy forever, until they shut it down.
