CS4 Dreamweaver: Old tags (font, size, etc) -- HOW?

CS4 Dreamweaver Mac: Old tags (font, size, etc) --> HOW do I do these? Is there a plug-in?
Note: I do NOT want to create a style sheet everytime I want to add a line to one of 2,000 existing pages. Please don't reply with "those tags are deprecated", because there are a billion pages that still use them, thanks.

Not on my screen; no "Edit Rule" or "Targetted Rule"

  • Change the Font (size etc..) on the Right-Window(Text)

    Hallo Experts,
I have following problem with JavaHelp 1.1:
It is possible to change the Font (Menu/Options/Set Font...), but
    it effects only the left-Window(TOC).
I want to change the Font (size etc..) on the Right-Window (Text) - because
JavaHelp shows the Font Arial/10/Plan not in the real size - it seems - is not greater then Arial 7 or 8.
Who can give me a tip - Thanks a lot
    Charanjeet S. Gill
    Thanking you in Advance

Well, I haven't tried it, but seeing as the text on the right hand side is just HTML pages, I guess yu can just write your HTML using <font>, <size>, <color>, etc. tags. Let me know if it works

  • Mouse wheel to adjust values of colors/ font size etc

    Hello,
Is that possible to make FW CS5 use mouse wheel to adjust values (hue, saturation, font size etc.) similarly to PS?
It's a bit of a drag to have to click the slider and each time I want to fine tune the tone.
    Rgs

You can set the pref mousewheel.withcontrolkey.numlines to -1 on the about:config page.
The pref mousewheel.withcontrolkey.action must be 3 (default)
To open the <i>about:config</i> page, type <b>about:config</b> in the location (address) bar and press the "<i>Enter</i>" key, just like you type the url of a website to open a website.<br />
If you see a warning then you can confirm that you want to access that page.<br />

  • How can I adjust the font size, etc., when completing a PDF form in Preview?

I would like to use Preview to fill-out or complete a PDF form.  The default font that Preview uses when I begin typing in a field is too large.  How can I adjust the font size.  And while I'm asking, can I also adjust the font color, weight, emphasis, etc.?

Whilst in the Preview application, press "Shift - Command - A" (⇧⌘A) simultaneously to show the markup toolbar, or click View, and select "show markup toolbar". There is an icon "A" near the right hand side of the now visible markup toolbar, click this icon to reveal all the font options.

I have loaded windows 8.1 via bootcamp on my macbook air 11 inch how can i adjust font size. I have to do a lot of work in office 2013 and it is very very difficult to see the screen.
    Thank you

Microsoft store will provide a download manager (.exe) using your Product Key, which needs to be run on a PC. This manager will then let you download an ISO image to a USB and/or DVD.

  • Type copied from Photoshop to InDesign doesn't keep font, size, etc..

Is there a way to copy type set in Photoshop and paste it into InDesign and have it keep the font, size, leading info? Using CS3 here at work, and occasionally get Photoshop files with type for position, that we need to set in InDesign. I try to copy the type and paste it into InDesign, but it doesn't keep the same font, or size, etc... I've tried looking into the preferences, but don't see anything that would help my cause. Is there something I'm missing?
Thanks in advance for any help.
    Steve

Bob, Thanks for the response, though not the answer I was hoping for! :-) You'd think that between the 2 Adobe applications, you'd be able to copy and paste type and have it hold all the info. Oh well.

  • Change appearance eg font size etc

I am often having troubles in iCal that I can't view the whole contents of an event box in the week view.
Is there a plugin or whatever that can change this?
    - Possibility to show/not show the time in the event box.
    - Possibility to change the font size and style.

    Andreas,
The only way that I know of to influence how information is displayed in the week view is to change the size of the viewer window.
Font size is not selectable through the user interface and there are currently no third party solutions.
Please make your need/desire for changing the appearance known through Mac OS X Feedback.

  • Can no longer edit/adjust presenter note font sizes etc

In a large presentation (meaning I don't wish to start over) I can now no longer edit the presenter fonts, in terms of size or other font related changes - either via the format bar, font window or toolbar icons...
All options appear grayed out or unselectable...
The reason I wished to alter font sizes is something occurred which in fact changed all the default sizes (from 22 down to an unreadable 12) in my presenter notes.
Adding new slides retains the editable presenter notes...but quickly these seem to end up ultimately changing to the smaller uneditable font scenario.
    Help!

I was just searching for this problem myself... here is my experience:
In order to change presenter note fonts I need to open the font box (format/font/show fonts)... the problem is that things go screwy when I change presenter notes size... the cpu starts maxing out, keynote snails along.. I have to quit/restart. Bug city.?
There is definitely some disconnect between these notes fonts and the rest of the keynote program!
The ability to easily change these notes size is important for me but I'm hesitant to keep trying...
ps: choosing font/format/show fonts is the same as using the toolbar A icon - the format bar fonts don't work for presenter notes.

  • Dreamweaver MX -changing font size

    Hi
I am using MX . When I create text in a table all looks fine in MX. However, when I view it in IE 8 or Mozillla some but not all of the lines of text have reduced in size.
I am not too familiar with the HTML code but I cannot see what is causing the problem.
Any suggestions as to what to look for would be most helpful.

    Hi Nancy O
Thank you for your response. I am sorry but I cannot give a link to the page because of Data Protection of the individuals that the page refers to, however below is some sanatized code that exhibits the same problem; after "Couples description" the font size increases.

  • Ggoogle search pages and Blogger's "create new post" pane have teeny tiny font sizes. How do I normalize them?

Google's search results page has a font that is miniscule compared to other pages.
I have tried adjusting the font in the tools>options>content>advanced with no change.
I've also tried resetting the view>zoom feature to no avail.
Blogger's "create new post" pane had an even smaller font, if that's possible.
So far the tiny font phenomenon seems to only affect Google pages, though *'''''not'''''* my iGoogle page.
    Any help would appreciated :)
    Thank you!

You can do that with a custom stylesheet in userContent.css or with the Stylish extension.
    * http://kb.mozillazine.org/Editing_configuration
    * Stylish: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/stylish/
    <pre><nowiki>@-moz-document
    domain(google.com) {
    body, body * { font-size: 1em !important; }
    }</nowiki></pre>
You can add more domains to use that rule by adding the domains as a comma separated list like
    domain(google.com), domain(blog.com)

  • When using text edit, the font as it appears on the screen is ok, but when I print, it is much smaller on the paper than the chosen font size. How do I correct this?

When using TextEdit, the font as it appears on the screen is ok, but after printing, the font is much smaller on the paper than the chosen size. (in this case 14)
    How do I correct this?

    Hi Corel
    Thank you for your reply
However I need the lower case version for some sites and the upper case version for the site in question? To make matters worse this site does not allow you to change your log on name unless it is in the form of an e-mail address
So what I need is Kostas for this site and kostas saved for other sites and allow me to choose which one I want to use
How do I do this please
I have no bother with this on Win Internet Explorer but I like Firefox
Mind it may be as simple as deleting The appropriate entry and resetting with Kostas instead of kostas?
But I would appreciate knowing the correct solution from an expert

  • BUG : Can't change properties (font, size, etc.) in Text Box (Acrobat Pro Extend 9.3.4)

Here is a bug in Acrobat 9. It's really frustrating :
    1- Open any PDF file.
2- Select the Text Box tool and type something.
3- Notice that you can change the font using the Properties toolbar (CTRL + E).
4- Open a second PDF file.
5- Select the Text Box tool and type something in this document.
6- Notice that you can change the font using the Properties toolbar (CTRL + E) also.
7- Switch back to the first opened PDF file.
    8. Try using the Properties toolbar.
YOU CAN'T BECAUSE THE TOOLBAR IS DISABLED!
There is nothing you can do to make it enabled again.
This bug seems to be present since Acrobat 8 and the Acrobat Developper Team did not fix it yet. I am a programmer and I know that you need only 5 minutes to fix this bug. WHY IT HAS NOT BEEN FIXED YET???
It's horrible to deal with this bug...
I hope Acrobat Developper Team heard me and will fix this ASAP.
    Thank you.

We have had tons of discussions about this problem.  I would love it if Adobe would fix this problem.  In the meantime, one thing we are testing in our environment, and we think it is successful, is to set Preferences to "never view in PDF/A mode'.  Maybe that can help you.
