CS4 Error 148:3 What the hell does that mean?

It's a licensing error and I'm sure the accompanying text in the warning dialog spells it out pretty clearly, despit you not caring to provide that info along with any tangible details about your system. So the only blindfire advise we can give you is this: Error "Licensing has stopped working".

If you are curious why don't you just highlight the timeline > hit option + T (the timeline gets sexier ) > select a clip > drop a filter on it > set keyframes to modify the filter overtime or use time remap and option click anyware in the time remap green ramping line to set a keyframe and keep your curious eye on the timeline and find that all those keyframes becomes visible and editable in the timeline?

Do I need to keep the library on my PC or can I download whatever playlists I want stored on the device at that time.
Example: I have almost 1G of Christmas Music - because it is on my PC in my llibrary they sync to my ipod touch every time - i really want those stored somewhere else so they do not sync [or take space on my pc] with exception to one month per year.
I am thinking I can create space on my PC and Touch by storing songs on icloud that i do not listen to regularly; I am also thinking I can request songs by playlist to download to my touch or PC
Is that a clearer question or am I just confusing myself??

As long as the app remains in the store then you can re-download it via the Purchased tab in the App Store app, or via the Purchased Link under Quick Links on the right-hand side of the iTunes store home page on your computer's iTunes : re-downloading.
Similarly ibooks can be re-downloaded, and depending upon what country that you are in then music, films and tv shows may also be re-downloadable (if they remain available in the store).

iTunes does not actively scan the media folders. If you manually add content to a folder, then you must add that content to iTunes manually via the File > Add File/Folder feature.
The only folder that gets scanned is the "Automatically add to iTunes" folder.

Not at all. It only means that they are backed up. Your apps are still on your device. If you use iCloud, then when you purchase a new app, then the app is automaticallly pushed to all other iCloud enabled devices for that account.

One has nothing to do with the other.
You have to pay for the phone if you did not do so online.
Must show ID and if new service you may have to pay a security deposit. Go to the store find out.

I did so and then it said my phone needed to be "restored" but it said I was going to get my pictures, messages, music and contacts back later on. Now being one day later I did not get any of that back.

If you don't have a backup then you can't get the data back.
It's not typical for an update to require a restore, but for a handful of people the update gets interrupted, and this happens.

Downloading to the ereader depends a little on the eReader.
Some very basic eReaders, and Kindles, do not support Adobe DRM, in which case you cannot read such books on that reader.
Most dedicated eReaders should show up in the left panel of ADE when they are plugged in to the USB.
You might need a special driver, eg for Sony eReaders a driver is installed with the Sony Reader software.
Some don't work correctly on ADE2.0, in which case try using the older but more reliable ADE 1.7.2 instead (see bottom of post).
Once the eReader does show up in ADE, you will need to authorize the eReader (menu-Library-Authorize Device on 1.7.2, setting to the left of the device in 2.0).
You should then be able to drag-drop books onto the device from within ADE.
For tablets uses as eReaders you need an appropriate eReader app.
Post again if your ereader is a tablet.

If notifications are set to "view in lock screen," and I can swipe to access the app, does that mean I then can access everything without logging on?

I'm concerned with security, so I wonder if by setting my notifications OFF to "view in lock screen" I can then gain access to all other apps as well. That would seem to trade security for convenience. Or does that permit access ONLY to the one app that sent the notification?

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.
