Cs4 Exporting Flash to Premiere Pro has blurred edges on objects

hi!  I'm trying to take a simple flash animation (with vector shapes drawn in illustrator) and put it in Premiere Pro with some music.   I want to make a DVD of several clips of different kinds.  The problem is when I import the SWF (24fps) and export it as an AVI, it looks terrible.  The mpeg2 doesn't have the mismatched/blurred pixelated edges, but it is all poor quality.  How can I do this with the best quality possible for DVD?  (I can't get a quicktime player for some reason either) HEEEEEEEEELLLLLLP!!
Thanks a million ya'll!!
<3 Suzy

The swf is 1920 x 1080 and looks perfect when played in Flash Player.  It looks good in PremPro, but not after it's exported through the render queue  in any format it seems.
I tried to use the same size sequence settings, and I also tried to resize it (scale) to 720 x 480 in PremPro.  I also tried varying ther frame rate (orig Flash is 24)  but i tried 29.97 then 24.  No luck!
I cannot figure out how to export an flv from Flash.   When I File>Export I get avi, swf, mov, and a few others but not flv.  I'm googling like craazy, but it's so much more helpful to talk to someone.  Thanks for trying to help me.

nothing happens, premiere pro "freezes", as though it was going to open up adobe media encoder but does nothing, premiere pro can be "unfrozen" simply by pressing esc.

  • Videos export with purple/green artifacts/splotches/flashes with Media Encoder CC but export fine with Premiere Pro CC?

I use Premiere Pro CC to edit videos, and videos render fine when I export through Premiere Pro, but when I try to use Media Encoder CC, the video exports with weird splotches of green/purple artifacts all throughout. It almost looks like the video is glitching and having a seizure of green and purple. No idea why this happens. Could anybody help me? I use Media Encoder to export bulks of videos at a time through its queue feature, which is why I prefer to use Media Encoder for video exporting.
    Please and thanks.

    Mitch,
I was hoping that you and others might have some insight as to whether the purple and green artifacts / splotches seen in the attached screenshots (taken from 4 consecutive frames here but occurring through the entirety of the clip) could possibly have resulted from exporting video with ~ Premiere Pro CS5 or 6 ? As seen below, these splotches alternate back and forth between purple and green in every consecutive frame. I was also hoping that someone might know if this is a relatively common type of artifact and how it is caused.

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error.  CS6

    Dear Adobe Community
I would be grateful for some help as Premiere Pro has begun crashing on me.
I am using CS6 - on two different Mac computers that both encounter the same problem.  I am making a film 1920 x 1080 made up of almost 60 smaller films of 180 x 180 pixels with a color matte underneath them.  Everything had been going fine and I was able to export three different versions of the film.  Now unfortunately it no longer works!
Using the same process, that I used before that worked successfully, I select all the elements of the timeline and try and nest them.  At this point I get the following error message:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    .  [/Volumes/BuildDisk/builds/tightykilt/shared/adobe/MediaCore/Backend/Make/Mac/../../Src/S equence/LinkContainer.cpp-245]           Continue
On pressing Continue - it "quit unexpectedly".
I've tried using a different Mac and have the same problem.
I tried slim lining the project to just the assets that I'm using, saving and rendering and saving and it still keeps on crashing like this.
I would be grateful for any help or advice.
    Thank you very much!

  • 99 or 100% when it says Premiere Pro has stopped working and needs to close. What's going on?

I am using the premiere pro trial at the moment and have been trying to render a video for a solid week now. My computer is far more powerful then the recommended specs and yet it still takes 2 hours to attempt to export a 3 minute video (that isn't even heavily edited) and not only that but it will get to 99 or 100% when it says Premiere Pro has stopped working and needs to close. I have used earlier versions of the product before and never had such problems, even my 2 year old laptop could breeze exporting. What's going on?

Thanks, I'm a bit new to asking for help!
    Version : Premiere Pro CC 2014.2 (8.2)
    It is up to date
    I'm using Windows 8.1 build 9600
My sources are contained in .mov, .mp4 and .png. The codec I'm trying to use is H.264
After I set the project to export I got this error message every time it gets to either '99' or '100%' completed. "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available"
I have never had such a problem with the program which makes me think it might have something to do with a recent update.
No other notable software was running during the export.
I don't have any third-party effects or codecs installed.
I have 64 bit OS and processor, Intel i5 - 4670K quad core clocked at 3.40 GHz. 12 GB of RAM. And a GTX 770 with 2GB of video RAM.
Unless it was installed in the trial, I do not have the Mercury Playback Engine.
And finally, it can be noticeably choppy during the preview when it gets to the part I don't have rendered but is fine again for a bit if I replay those parts. A part from being a bit slower then usual, I didn't actually run into a major problem until I started exporting.
Thank you for the help! Any suggestions?

  • Exporting Sessions to Premiere Pro

    Hi There,
I'm a newbee to Adobe products. I was wondering; I had three or four clips of audio in one track of a Premiere Pro project, opened it in Audition, worked on it, then exported it back into Premiere Pro. The problem is that, when I exported it into Premiere Pro, Audition created one clip out of the three or four clips that I had. Yes they were all in the same track, but I need them separated so that I can apply different effects, volume and EQ to each later on.
    Any Ideas?

Here are some screen shots detailing what I mean.
This is Adobe Audition. As you can see, the large track is divided. It has five sections to be exact.
I click the export to Adobe Premiere Pro, but when it opens in Premiere Pro it joins the five sections on the one track and converts it into one section on the one track. Hope these help.

  • Exporting mpg2 in premiere pro cs6

exporting mpg2 in premiere pro cs6
When exporting a clip as mpg2 (win 7), the resulting output has a green screen lasting 1 second, folowed by a weird cross dissolve 1 second, then the video is starting and displaying correctly. I never had this problem before, it just happened today. Can someone help me solve this problem

    Why do you need mpeg2.
If its for DVD use a mpeg2-dvd preset.
For other purposes H.264 is usually the best choice.

If you would like to test the tuning and setup of your Premiere installation go to our Premiere Pro BenchMark PPBM, the Instructions page has the download file.  This single download can test Premiere 6, 7 or 8 with the identical benchmark.  We maybe able to tell you why you are having problems.

  • Urgent : Premiere Pro has encountered an error

    Bonjour,
Depuis plusieurs jours nous sommes nombreux à être confrontés à un bug Adobe très critique. Lors de la réouverture d'un projet, Premiere plante et affiche les messages d'erreur suivants :
"Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    f:\mightysilt_win64\shared\adobe\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\keyframe "
    Puis :
    Debug event f:\mightysilt_win64\shared\adobe\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\keyframe

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error - Keyframe.h-142

    Hello,
My project is crashing each time I try to open it with the error :
Premiere Pro has encountered an error
    [c:\randall\mediacore\mediafoundation\api\inc\Keyframe/Keyframe.h-142]
If I use an auto-save project it open normaly but I cannot do a save because the saved project will give me the error.
What can I do. It seems that I'm not alone with this problem but I have not found any solution.
    Please Help!
    Nikho

As this bug in always present in the CS4 version (16/12/2009). I'm sharing my way to restore the project:
Note that I'm using NotePad++ to edit the project file.
    FIRST
    Replace all:
    <StartKeyframe>-91445760000000000,0,,0,5,0,,0,,0,,0,</StartKeyframe>
    With:
    <StartKeyframe>-91445760000000000,0,,0,0,5,,0,,0,,0,</StartKeyframe>
    NEXT
Edit your OS regional settings and change you decimal separator from comma (,) to dot (.) as this bug is always there too (you will see it again when Adobe Encoder will launch the headerless Premiere and crash with the same error).
And finally try to reload your project.
    Note about this:
Some data will be changed to incorrect values in your project, like "Opacity" for Title elements, or "Gain" for some audio tracks...
My message to the developer team:
First, you are not god and your coding is not perfect so please use try-catch things that exists today in every languages, it's amazing to see a software like this crashing. Secondly, why the hell removing a node element of the project file avoid the loading of the entire project ??? And finally don't tell me that I'm the ONLY user in Europe that is using comma as a decimal separator

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error - nothing seems to fix it!

    Hey all,
    I'm running Premiere Pro v. 6.0.2 on Mountain Lion 10.8.2, with a standard ATI Radeon 5770 in a 3.33 GHz 6-Core Mac Pro 5,1.
Whenever I try to open the program OR a file, I get the following message:
"Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [/Volumes/BuildDisk/builds/slightlybuilt/shared/adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/.. /../Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-283]"
The strangest thing is that I just used Premiere yesterday, and after quitting it last night, tried to open the same file and got this message. I thought maybe the file was corrupted but I get the message just by launching without even opening via a project file. I then updated from 10.8.1 to 10.8.2 in the hopes that something internally might get fixed and it did not rememdy the problem. I have been scouring forums and most have pointed to resetting the permissions in the Home folder which I did both through Terminal and the "resetpassword" Repair Utility method. It still won't open! This has been very frustrating and I would greatly appreciate any advice to get this sorted out.
As a side note, whenever I open After Effects (11.0.1), it "unexpectedly quits" without an error log. I was also able to open this at least since I've had Mountain Lion, although I did not use it as recently as Premiere.
I appreciate any help and please let me know if you need any more information. Thank you!

I'm not a Mac user so I can't offer much advice other than to recommend uninstalling everything and using the adobe cleaner utility after the uninstall is completed. Then re-install everything, hopefully that should fix the problem. Sorry I don't have any info on what actually caused the issue though. But I'm going to assume that something has obviously gotten corrupted somehow. I honestly think that uinstalling is probably going to be the easiest solution here.
Here is a link to the cleaner utlity.

I’ve just downloaded and installed (twice) premier pro (CC 2014) and am receiving this error message when I attempt to launch the program:
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error.

    Hey All!
Getting a new error popping when opening a project.
Premiere Pro has encountered an error.
    [/Volumes/BuildDisk/builds/tightykilt/shared/adobe/dvamediatypes/project/mac/../../src/Ti ckTime.cpp-207]
I can usually click continue about 10 times and get the project to open. It only happens when clicking this particular project file. Of course all my backups of the same project are doing the same thing. AutoSaves don't have the error, but are too far back to revert to one of them. It doesn't seem to effect my ability to work on the project. Just a little concerned because this is a long form doc with a couple hundred hours of footage and a tight deadline. Hoping to be able to get through it. Any ideas what this is?
    Best!
    Dave

Hey John! Yeah, same thing. In fact, same thing on multiple machines! Seems to be that something strange has happened to that project and that specific file.
Previous AutoSave files are fine but the latest one is from 5hours before the original project file, so they're useless to me.
Up unitl now, PPro 6 has been incredibly stable. And keep in mind I can still get the project open and work, so I'm not down because of it.

  • Premiere Pro has encountered an error message

Hello, I keep getting this message everytime I try to open premiere pro cs5. It says Premiere Pro has encountered an error
    [/Scully64/shared/adobe/MediaCore/ASL/Foundation/Make/Mac/../..Src/DirectoryRegistry.cpp-2 83]
Can anyone help me resolve this issue?
    Thanks, Brandon.

The answer in my case was simple: if you use certain video converters (such as HandBrake) to convert video from a video camera to something Premiere can import, sometimes the converter sets the framerate to 90,000 frames per second (such as HandBrake does). (NOTE! I don't know which software is at fault, or if it's a combination of both, only the end results.)
If you try and import that video into Premiere, one of two things happens: the video is at 90,000 FPS, and less than a second long... or the above error occurs, and in my case, Premiere crashes to the desktop. I've seen it do both. But in both cases the fix is the same ---
If I go into the settings in Handbrake, and instead of leaving 'framerate' set on 'source', manually set it to (29.97, or whatever the source actually WAS)... then you re-encode it, and like magic - it imports into Premiere and no longer shows that error message.
Note that in other video editing software, the same source files will work just fine.
It's something specific to Premiere (or the video file, and how Premiere sees it) that causes this issue.
