[CS4] IDataLink deprecated... but now ?

Hello,
I have a CS3 document containing a link in one text box. This link point to an inexistent file, i.e. "234.incd", and now it is no needed. Well, when I open this document with CS4 I cannot "unlock" the box, I mean, cannot write in the text box because Indesign CS4 gives me an alert like this "Cannot extract this file. May be in use by another user" (sorry but the alert is in Spanish, i don't have the exactly english translation).
Ok... don't worry, I only need to delete this link before start to work with my plugin.
IDatalink and friends has been deprecated ( ... ) now I cannot find the way to delete an old and obsolete link in a box. Simply delete, nor convert nor reuse it, only delete it. Even Indesign crashes when I try to delete it manually from the Links palette.
Has anybody any idea : how to delete the link in a box of a CS3 document from a CS4 plugin?

Thank you Jon, that fixed it perfectly. You have saved me from going crazy. The only difference I see now is in "Server Name" it changed what I had entered (my ftp address) to "Remote Server"; which seems odd -- but it works! Although I know there maybe also some other dialog box I have never seen
Of course I saw that menu item "Import" and but I thought thats obviously not for me: "Why would I want to import an entire website?". I did not however see "Export the selected site" for thats only a tiny icon in the footer. However I would have thought the same: "Why would I want to export my entire website?".
An observation: I've seen this problem in a lot of Adobe software, the menu-names of items are obscure, non descriptive. What would be better would be for the menu names or popups to say "Export Site Setup settings" and "Import Site Setup settings"

None of these issues are causing the error in DW CS6. We have double checked all of them and we have everything exactly right. Also I have exactly the same SiteSetup in DW CS4 and that works perfectly well. Could there must be factor in 6 that didn't exist in 4? Something that isnt in the SiteSetup but in some hidden dialog box ?
I can also upload to my host using Fetch, a third party FTP. And as I said DW CS4 works fine. So the problem is not with my host, its with DW CS6 in particular.

Tina Hadley did you migrate/transfer your applications over to your new Macintosh? If so this could cause problems with your serial number being recognized. Please run the available uninstallers located in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder. Once this is done you will also want to run the CC Cleaner Tool. Its called the ac3dc3dbs2t32cfgh24.dll codec or something, its in encore and you copy it into premiere. I dont know, ask someone who does.

you have a ps cs4 license for mac and you have some way of finding your serial number.
if yes, download an install the installation file. if you already have the installation file, what is its name and file extension? (eg, if it's one file, it should be a dmg file.)

My advice to you is, if you can, drop back to Mavericks. You will have better luck since CS4 is not supported (nor are CS5 or CS5.5) on Yosemite. The other alternative is to uninstall the entire suite, run the cleaner tool and reinstall completely from the original discs or a new download. Be prepared for other fun stuff as well.

I am using Premiere CS4 and was capturing fine just yesterday, but now it is showing a blank screen in the capture window and after an attempt to record it states that 'no frames were captured'. It is playing just fine on the video camera. I don't believe I'm doing anything differently from yesterday, and I have plenty of hard drive space. Any suggestions?

Well I'll guess you're using iPhoto 11:
Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Repair Database. If that doesn't help, then try again, this time using Rebuild Database.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. (In early versions of Library Manager it's the File -> Rebuild command. In later versions it's under the Library menu.)
This will create an entirely new library. It will then copy (or try to) your photos and all the associated metadata and versions to this new Library, and arrange it as close as it can to what you had in the damaged Library. It does this based on information it finds in the iPhoto sharing mechanism - but that means that things not shared won't be there, so no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your events, albums and keywords, faces and places back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one.

My phone is not syncing properly, I wanted to add another playlist to it that I created on my Mac. I pluged in my phone and made sure the playlist I wanted to add was checked to be on my phone when I synced.
The playlist I wanted to add was "Country." It is clearly checked. I also wanted to add the "Recently Added" playlist, which I also checked before sycing. Currently, my phone only has the "Purchased" playlist and my "All Songs" playlist on it. When I hit sync, iTunes added another playlist automatically added another playlist to the list above and checked it. It was titled "ALL SONGS 1" and had ten fewer songs in it than the playlist I had created, "ALL SONGS" had. This playlist, however does not show up on my phone after syncing, nor does "Country" or "Recently Added." (Every time I sync, another playlist is created as "ALL SONGS 2, 3, 4, etc.") One of the songs (I have not, yet checked the other songs) that I purchased from within iTunes Radio shows up in the "ALL SONGS 1" on this screen:
But does not show up anywhere else. This playlist does not show up anywhere but the two screens above. The ALL SONGS 1 or 2 playlists do not show up here:
When I search for those song in my library, it shows that I do not have them:
But if I go to the iTunes store, I get the play button and not the price of the song:
This is what things look like from my phone's side of things:
"Summertime Sadness," one of the songs I bought from iTunes Radio, does not show up in the iTunes store under purchased "All" or "Not on This iPhone"
But, it does show up under "Recent Purchases"
Also, this is what playlists are on my phone after syncing a million times:
Only what was on there before I started any of this. "Summertime Sadness" and the other songs I bought from inside iTunes Radio, do not show up in either of these playlists. Please, help me.

Is your computer still authorized in the Store menu in iTunes?

When I changed to my new MacBookPro I had to authorize it although I used TimeMachine to transfer my settings and data.
Did you try to deselect Wi-Fi syncing and enable it again after that?
