CS4: Is it not possible to export States to anything other than GIF?
I see the option to "export states to files," but there's no option to choose a file format other than the pre-filled GIF format. Is there no way to export states to flattened PNGs without going through and saving out each one? If not, I'm going right back to Photoshop and layer comps. If it matters, I'm on a mac.
Even though I didn't ask the question, thank you for this tip, Jim. I was having a problem with gradients banding and I knew the problem was related to the images being .gifs - I just couldn't figure out where to change that.

I have a newer MacBook Pro and I am trying to download my Final Cut Pro 7 Studio 2 on it. Is that possible or does the new MacBook Pro not support anything other than Final Cut Pro X?

when syncing with itunes, got error message saying had error and now ipad2 will not do anything other than showing the USB cable with arrow pointing to Itunes on screen. have done the reset and restart, but still get same thing. Ipad does not show up in itunes even though cable plugged in. Have shut down and restarted Windows 7 computer.
I had done all of that to no avail. I did call Apple Tech Support and after he suggested I try a USB port in the rear of the Win 7 computer, things starting working again. I had tried switching the USB port at the front of the machine but that had not helped. Everything is good to go again. thanks for your reply

I had to format the C drive recently. I have reinstalled iTunes but I am unable to add anything other than music, TV shows and movies to the iTunes library. It is not showing any option to add podcasts, books, photos or apps. These things are available on my iPhone but are no longer there in the iTunes library. Please help.
In iTunes go to general preferences and check the boxes for those you wish to see in the library.

i found out how to do this finally!
1) set up google gmail account to forward your emails to (from the [email protected])
2) go to your gmail account
3) go to settings (cog in right hand corner)
4) go to 'accounts and import'
5) go to 'send mail as'
6) click 'Add another email address you own' - add your [email protected] address
7) google will send a verification email with code to that email address.
8) enter code
9) go back to gmail account >'send mail as' and select 'make default'
10) close mac 'mail' program and reopen it.
as long as you have gmail account selected as the primary account in MAIL - mail will now come throught as being sent from that [email protected] address!! -
Uploading bank statement with formatt other than MT940
Hello Experts,
I have a requirement that I need to upload bank statement directly into SAP.
I have almost 30 banks configured but problem is not all of them gives MT940 format and if I am going for multicash format then my client does not want to create any excel file himself and then upload that.
Some banks refuse to give statements in MT940 format as they does not support that format.
The statements which bank gives are in PDF or text format.
So, Is it possible to upload bank statement directly if format is other than MT940?
Is there any other format I should demand from Banks?
Do I need to develop Z report for this functionality, If yes, Then please guide?Hi

Export of results into other than LMS
Hi there,
As a Captivate newbie, I'm having difficulty in getting
results experted seamlessly into a system other than a LMS.
I've seen some articles on using Cold Fusion and Excel
spreadsheets to export the data, but there is too much interaction.
What I'd like to do (if it is indeed possible) is to export
quiz results to a comma delimited file seamlessly on a remote
network drive, where the Company ERP system can then pick them up
and import using a perl script (or similar). The last part is
relatively easy, but the export from Captivate2 is what is
perplexing me.
Does anyone have any ideas that they could lend me on how the
setup of this could happen?

There are a couple posts near to yours that give possible
solutions, such as access databases to sql databases. In your case
you specify a results.txt. If you choose either, getting commo
delimited files is easy.
Look at them and try it. All you would have to do, is instead
of pointing the results to a database, you specify the commo
delimited file.

I have custom CIDX Message structure under standard SWC CIDX .when I applied Patch to this SWC ,the custom CIDX message structure has gone, only SAP provided CIDX message structures are available. So I would like to know can I have custom CIDX message structure in other SWC.

GX660R - 5870M Not being detected on anything other than drivers on MSI CD
Hello,
I installed everything, but the graphics drivers (Catalysts from the ATI website), will not detect the 5870M graphics card.
If I use the ones on the MSI disc as provided, this works fine however. Can someone pelase help? I have tried numerous amounts of drivers from guru3d + the ATI website.

Hi NovJoe, thank you for the response.
The drivers on the disk are 10.1's, if I am able to get the 10.12's to install I am under the presumption that there will be better performance provided? I have slight OCD and prefer to be 'upto date' wherever possible, especially for GPU drivers.
Aside from this, i shouldn't be forced to use to MSI CD drivers when there are others available, could it need a BIOS upgrade, or the card possibly faulty?

Not able to connect to orcl database other than system user
Hi,
I am getting the following error when I am trying to connect to orcl database.
I had created a user 'jeff' on oracle and oracle_sid is already set and database is up.listener is started, tnsnames.ora, listenrer.ora are configured.What other problem can be?
The point is that I am able to connect to orcl using "system" user but not "jeff".
If possible can you send me the snippet of commands to create user , granting privilege to orcl. I had refered oracle guide but may be I am doing some silly mistake.

SayantaniAre you working on the same machine where you installed the database and created the user ? If yes, then there is no need of giving @tnsname option. You can directly use sqlplus scott/tiger command to login from the prompt.
If from another machine and provided you have configured oracle networking, you can login as follows.

Rented "Gone Girl" on apple tv. It charges me, but will not play for more than 4 seconds at a time. I have exercised every step of apple's troubleshooting and nothing fixes the problem. I have a very strong, steady 81 Mbps Internet connection speed and can stream any other HD through the apple tv except for this rented movie. This is not the first time this has happened either. I just gave apple $6 for free and am currently watching the movie streaming through my cable provider's on demand channel with ease. Oh yeah, and when I seek apple support for the issue, apple wants $2 just to contact someone! Give me my money back please and I will never attempt to use your poor tv service again.
The limitation of approximately 200 titles has been discussed before, we can't be sure whether it will be something that gets fixed or not. I'm not really sure what your other issues are, if I use search instead of lists, I find whatever I want and am able to rent or purchase subject to those options being available for that particular title.

IPAD2 since yesterday seems to have stopped transfers of photos from non Mac equipment. I use dell with ITunes cloud facility.

So here is the deal. I used to be able to burn CDs with iTunes that played back fine on both my car and home stereo. After some update, and I am very sorry but I really do not remember which one, as I am just a user and not a programmer and just want something that works, which in the end Apple used to be all about, and therefore do not keep track of all the updates, CDs won't play back on my car stereo. Nothing else changed, still the same brand of CDs (even the same stack!), still the same car stereo, and still the same 2007 MBP. So by simple deduction I conclude it must be a software update. And I do not care what the exact cause is, I just want a fix!
I'd like to apologize for my tone in the above, but it is just a very annoying problem, even more so because it seems nothing is being done about it. Thanks for your answer in advance! -
Some of the browser tabs and headers that are "clickable" are noe working. I click on them, and nothing happens. Part of Facebook works, but the headers do not. My library site headers, which has tabs for "Search" and "Account" as examples, do not work. Up till late yesterday, there were no problems. I did re-install Firefox this morning, and it made no difference.
The Yahoo! Toolbar extension has been reported to cause this issue.

Anything other than original size is exported horribly pixelated
I'm working with Illustrator CC and anything I send to Photoshop or to .gff is just horribly pixelated. If I leave it in the original resolution, it works out ok. But, even if I reduce or enlarge using Illustrator and then export it is just pixelated to death.
I know this has to be a simple solution, but I've spent the better part of two days trying to figure it out, searching on the web, and can't find it.
