  • Dreamweaver CS4 keeps showing a licensing error 150:30. Any ideas?

I am running Dreamweaver CS4 on a MacBook Pro. After a Mac OSX update earlier today Dreamweaver keeps showing a licensing error 150:30 and the only solution on line is not suitable for OS 10.9.5. Any ideas?

The terminal app option worked but after a restart I got the error message again. It worked a second time but then another restart brought me back to the beginnin. Have repaired permissions and tried the other potential solutions. I only use DW CS4 once in a while but I'd love a permanent solution.

  • CS4 Licensing Error 150:30

After re-installing OS X my CS4 applications are not working.
I keep getting message  "Licensing Error 150:30"

The Licensing repair tool does work. OSX 10.7 and above:
Download and open LicenseRecovery111.dmg on your Desktop
Open Terminal and type sudo and leave a space. <do not press "Enter" yet>.
Open the License Folder on the opened LicenseRecovery111.dmg and drag
"LicenseRecover.py" file into the Terminal Window.
The sudo command and path to the .py file should look like the screenshot below.
    Press Enter to begin
Type in your password, but know that you will not see dots or asterisks as you type.
Press Enter again, let the script run and finish. You should be able to run Photoshop now.

  • Unable to uninstall CS4 Master Suite

I began having problems exporting from Premiere Pro, Media Encoder, and Encore,  After receiving a number of error messages I attempted to reload CS4 Master Suite.  The system would not allow me to reinstall CS4 Master Suite so I attempted to uninstall the suite.  I received messages telling me that they were unable to uninstall each of the programs howver, now I cannot access any of the CS4 Master Suite programs on my computer - they will not open.  I cannot uninstall CS4 Master Suite, I cannot install CS4 Master Suite, and I cannot use any programs in CS4 Master Suite.

I did - seems to have removed the CS4 - but I still cannot reinstall the program?

  • Tech Comm and CS4 Master Suites

Has anyone else tried to install the Technical Communications suite on top of the CS4 Master suite? We tried it here in our training facilities but could not have both installed at the same time. During the install we kept running into shared assets errors when we installed the TC suite over the Master suite. The only solution was to uninstall the Master suite then install the TC suite but then the same errors popped up when we tried to install the Master suite. So is there a way to have the best of both worlds?

  • CS4 master suite on retina macbookpro / mountain lion

I have a question to which I haven't been able to find a conclusive answer online or on the forum so maybe by asking a direct question I will get further.
I am currently running CS4 master suite on my imac. This version does everything I need so I have no direct requirement to upgrade to a higher version.
I know will be investing in a macbookpro as a second machine for work on the go.
    My question is:
    1) Will my CS4 master suite install on a new macbookpro (retina or hi res screen).
    2) Will CS4 work on mountain lion or will it not work at all
Is any body in the same situation or has anyone installed cs4 on a new macbookpro?
    Thanks for the help
    Paul

Even those with CS6 are not particularly thrilled with the retina MacBooks from what I've read. Adobe will be updating Photoshop CS6 but they've made no commitment beyond that.
Now would be the best time you'll ever have to upgrade. Beginning 1/1/13 you will be ineligble for upgrade pricing at all.
And...until 8/31 you can move to Creative Cloud for only $29.99/month for the first year. After that it's $49.99.

  • CS4 Master suite; can I install non intel applications on PPC G5?

Hi, I would like to install the CS4 Master suite on both my Intel G5, but also, if possible, Photoshop and Indesign onto my old PPC G5 too. I know the Master suite is specified as Intel only, but does anyone know if it is still possible to install the UB applications it contains?
    Thanks in advance!

    Andy,
    >To my horror, I read on the box it only works on Intel machines. Would have been helpful if Adobe had made it clear on main page of web site.
If you spend that kind of money for anything, you simply do your due diligence
    before purchasing. And Adobe
does have a clear link to system requirements for each app on its pages.
For the Master Collection, on the main page: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/mastercollection the link is near the top of the white panel on the right. That link takes you to: http://www.adobe.com/products/creativesuite/mastercollection/systemreqs where the very first bullet-point is "Multicore Intel® processor"
And the specs do not say, "Also runs on PowerPC G5 computers" because some of the included apps don't. The minimum system requirements to run
all included apps includes the multicore Intel Mac.

  • After installing CS4 Master Suite on new Windows 7 X64 laptop, Premier Pro new projects window will not accept input.

I'm migrating my CS4 Master Suite to a new computer.  The new system is a Dell M3800 running Windows 7 x64.  Install goes fine except for a failure on Flash install.  Once install is complete Premier Pro won't accept any input on the New Projects window.  You can click on the file name field and change it but that's about it.  No buttons will function.  If you change the name and leave the field you can not change it again.  No further input is accepted and the actual change you made isn't applied.  You can exit out of the window with the X.  You can also go to an existing project no problem.  All other applications seem to be working fine.
Tried uninstall and cleanup and reinstall.  Problem does not change.  Made sure anti-virus and firewall were disabled before install.  No other applications are running during install.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Photoshop CS4 - Licensing Error 150:30

I have a MacBook with the OS X Maverick Operating System and have had no prior issues using my Photoshop CS4. My computer recently crashed and had to have my operating system re-installed. I tried to open up Photoshop today and this window popped up: "Licensing for this product has stopped working". I tried restarting the computer like the window mentioned and that did nothing. I also tried the solutions listed on the Adobe website for the Error: 150:30 and nothing has worked. My main problem is I cannot finish the "solutions" because I cannot locate the folder "FlexNet" or "FlexNet Licensing" or anything of that nature that is referred to in the solutions.

(If this answer solves it, mark it as "correct" or get back to me if it doesn't.)

  • I receive an error 150:30

Hi there, I have Master Collection CS4. I am running fine on iMac and Macbook pro, then had my macbook pro stolen (so therefore I cannot deactivate). I have a new MacBook pro retina edition and when I migrated applications and data from my time capsule I have an error: 150:30 "licensing for this product has stopped working". I understand that the license supports a desktop machine and laptop as long as not used concurrently. Can someone please help? Thanks. Both machines are running mountain lion if that makes any difference OSX 10.8.1

Benjamin, what Mylenium wanted to say is that if you have migrated the previous installed allpication using time line, you will get this error: 150:30. So, to avoid that. You need to first uninstall the existing CS4 application and then re-install it.
You can follow the below steps to do so.
< Uninstall CS4 using its uninstaller from Utilities->Adobe Installers Folder
< Download and install the Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool  and remove the reminents of Creative Suite applications.
    < Empty the Temp folder(Go->Go To Folder->/tmp)
    < Empty the Trash.
    < Reboot the machine
< Download Master Collection CS4 using the below link but make sure first you read the download instructions properly. http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html
    < Install CS4.
    Hope that Helps!

  • CS4 Master Suite Upgrade = Photoshop STONEHENGE loading screen

This evening I purchased the upgrade to CS4 for my CS3 Master Suite. All applications installed without error however Photoshop loads with the beta Stonehenge loading screen. How is this possible? The version number is listed as: 11.0x20080826. At no time did I install beta software--the only existing install was CS3. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
    Dave

i what you need to tell them is pretty much what the original poster said.
Well, as we can see from Ryan's post they are not even aware of the issue. There should be a specific issue that this is called that all of Adobe support has been made aware of so we all do not have to go through 10 levels of support and spend hours on the phone. Please escalate this issue with the powers that are at Adobe and treat your customers with more respect.
Instead of taking the attitude that the customer is lucky that anyone from Adobe is paying attention to the user forums, a much better way to handle this situation would be for Adobe to initiate the contact with the customers who they know are affected. So far, the only people here with the issue are people who downloaded the master collection from the Adobe store. Adobe has e-mail addresses for all of these people. Why not be proactive and send them an e-mail instead of having everyone call up Adobe and ask "Am I supposed to have a Stonehenge Screen when I start photoshop CS4?" I didn't even know whether or not this was a real issue. And I am sure that there are many customers who have this problem but are unaware of it and won't come to this thread to find out.
Adobe management can either address this problem as if they have some respect for their customers or they can just wait for people to complain.

  • I restored from a Time Machine back up and now my Creative Suite 4 gives me error 150:30

I have the same problem when I migrated CS4 to a new Retina MacBook Pro from a Time Machine drive. I get Error: 150:30 when I try to launch Photoshop CS4. The License Recovery Tool does not seem to work with Mountain Lion. I cannot reinstall the software from disc unfortunately. That was too many moves ago and the discs are no longer available. I don't even think the installers will run with the current OS.
Any help would be much appreciated.
    All the best,
    Tom

I have branched this off to a separate discussion.
TomWolsky in general it is best if you install the applications instead of restoring them from Time Machine or using the Migration assistant to copy them from one computer to another.  You can try the steps listed at Error "Licensing has stopped working" | Mac OS - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/error-licensing-stopped-mac-os.html.  This may allow you to resolve this difficulty.
If it doesn't I would recommend formatting and only restoring your documents and settings from the Time Machine back up.  You can download a fresh copy of your installation files by following the directions listed at http://prodesigntools.com/download-adobe-cs4-and-cs3-free-trials-here.html.
You can also find the serial number if it is registered to your account by following the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3987968#3987968?promoid=KBHJW.

  • License error 150:30 Downloaded license recovery, the app doesn't response. Now what?

Recently had to recover mac from Time Machine … all good.
Now can't start Photoshop Elements 8.0. Receiving message:
"Licensing for this product has stopped working. ….. Error 150:30"
Successfully downloaded License Recovery app package from Adobe website. When I launch the License Recovery app nothing happens and it is not responding.
Unsure what to do to resolve this.

Migrating Adobe applications from one system to another does not work.  You need to install using installation files.  If you do not have access to the disks then you might be able to download thru the following page (depends what you need).
    Download and Installation Help -
    https://helpx.adobe.com/download-install.html
You will need the serial number from the disk packaging to activate the installed files.  You might be able to find this thru your Adobe account online if you registered the software previously.

  • New CS4 Master Suite Installation fro Students

I am a student in San Diego, and am taking an online class. I purchased the student version of CS4 Master Collection and did (what I thought was) a complete installation. However, after the install I noticed it did not install all the software that was listed in the description on the back of the box. The programs that were not installed are: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Sound Booth, On-Location, and Encore. I've included a screen capture of the programs that were installed. Am I missing a disc or ?
