CS4 printing booklet - won't print back/front

I recently upgraded from CS2 to CS4.
I'm trying to print a booklet using 2-up Saddle Stitch - 32 pages in 16 spreads, landscape. I need multiple copies of the booklet.
I can't get it to print on both sides of the paper in the proper order so I have 8 sheets to fold & staple.
InDesign CS2 used InBooklet SE & I figured out how to print the spreads individually, but can't find that option in CS4, Booklet.

That is a good question but you can not put page numbers in and in any order you want and expect it to work. It has to be all or nothing with Saddle Stitch.
I know exactly what the OP was looking for because I print job like that, that I save on the hard drive of the printer. Each side of a two page spread as a separate print job in the printer.

Does the hp psc 1210v all-in-one have the ability to print back to front?

My hp psc 1210v all-in-one is still working and it is driving me crazy that this printer doesn't have the ability to print back to front. I am also upset that there is no software to print double sided like with the newer hp printers.

Printing back to front is actually a feature of the software you are using. You can do this in Word on your printer now. This link will go into more detail: "Printing Back to Front."
Lastly, two-sided printing is an accessory part that you put on the back of the printer to make it turn (called a duplexer). Once again, not a feature that can be added to a driver, or this printer for that matter. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but on the plus side, at the HP Parts Store, there are enough parts for this printer, you could keep it running for decades.

I have a deskjet D1420 and officejet pro L7780 neither print back to front

I have a HP deskjet D1420 and a HP Officejet Pro L7780 and neither one will print the pages from the back to the front. The option to print back to front has been selected on both printers.
i.e. printing 2 pages and the last page prints first followed by the first page
Any help in resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Please read this post then provide some details. What operating system?
I do not think the D1420 has an automatic duplexer, but the L7780 should be able to be configured for this. See the Vista/Windows 7 Duplex Printing Troubleshooting Guide here.

how do I print back to front? My print jobs come out printing page 1 first so I have to shuffle the papers to get them in the right order.

It would also help if you would advise us of which printer & model that you have. Not all printers prints and/or scan the same way.

I have an HP 7780 all in one and followed manual instructions to set up preferences to print back to front so that when I take print job off printer, it is already in order of the document but it continues to print front to back and I have to sort the document manually...no matter which way I set up preference, it only prints front to back...can anyone help me?

Booklet won't let me because of multiple page sizes, even if I am using A4 for all the pages, this is the error message:
"The active document uses multiple page sizes Print Booklet works only with documents that use a consistent page size."

Do you already see this when starting the Print Booklet dialog or later when finally putting out? If you can see the dialog windows, will the preview show all pages in same size?

Printing issues i'm not able to change the print order it always prints back to front.

I have an HP Pavilion model p6112p. Operating System is Vista Home Premium 64-bit, with an HP Deskjet Printer Model 6980.
The issue is I am unable to change the printing order of multiple page printing, they print from back to front on everything that I print, even my Quicken Checks, print back to front. I am unable to resolve this issue. HELP!!!!

I changed the code a bit. I removed the graph and replaced it by a value, the same error occured.
How to reproduce:
1) Exit LabVIEW completely (VERY IMPORTANT)
2) Open and run the attached VI
3) change the value of the 'value'-control to eg. 2.2 by typing in the value.
4) press on the print button
5) try to change the value of the 'value'-control to eg. 5.0 by typing in the value. This is NOT possible.
Changing the value with the arrows is possible.
6) stop the VI.
7) restart and no problem will occure.
8) Completely exit LV, restart the VI (and LV), the same error appears again after having printing the front panel.
I notice this only with LV 6.0.2. With LV 6.1 it seems to work fine.

CS4 printing problem after changing printers

Windows7
Photoshop CS4
printer was HP Officejet Pro 8500
have many files created with this printer installed. They printed successfully, except for "usual sporadic" error of "needing to install a printer before able to print". Would shutdown Photoshop, bring it up and print.
Installed new printer HP Officejet Pro 8600.
Files created when 8500 in use will not print on 8600. Get same "usual sporadic" error, except shutdown doesn't resolve problem.
New files created after 8600 installed print fine.
Any ideas how to solve this now BIG problem?

On a hunch, try going through the printer selection process then press Done. Do this twice, but don't print. Then try to print.
If that doesn't work, after selecting the printer twice, save the PSD and shut down Photoshop, then restart it and load the file.
There was a glitch back then where printer settings were getting "staged" in some intermediate place, so that one literally had to make changes twice to get them to "stick".
If the above doesn't work, once you've selected the printer, try going through the [Page Setup] twice. I know there was a combination that would "flush" the changes through.

Print VI front panel to file does not work after building executable.

I am using a property and invoke node to print the front panel of my VI to an HTML file. It works fine in the development mode. After Building the application, this subvi will no longer
print the front panel. Is there some special files that included in the build??

You can use the Report Generation VIs to generate the HTML report. Specifically, you could use Append Front Panel Image to Report.vi and Save Report to File.vi to save the image of the panel to an HTML report.
Check out the examples in examples\reports to get a better idea how to use these VIs if you've never used them before.

I need to Print back page in SAP Script, I am able to do it by setting print mode as D, but now the problem is, it does not print back page for last page.
For eg. if there are 3 pages it prints back page for first two. If there is only one page then it does not print back page.

Can i set a pdf document to print back to back every time?

have had a look through the help menus but no luck, just wondered if i could change the print settings so that when people open the document it automatically prints back to back every time? thanks in advance.

PPro CS4 won't play back

Suddenly video in Premiere Pro CS 4.0.0 for Mac won't play back from source window, program window, or timeline, except for an occasional playback of < 1 second. Scarily this was described by a bunch of users in a thread started two years ago. Only one solution was offered there, which didn't apply to my Mac.
I was involved in another thread on a related subject in this forum once before but that setup seemed connected to the use of a Dazzle Bridge for capturing. There's no such complication now...it's just not playing any video more than a few frames.
An editor who can't playback any video is in trouble, and after paying as much as I did for this program and a Mac Pro, it is disheartening. Any ideas out there?

I appreciate everyone's help but I'm afraid the situation has gone from bad to worse, since Premiere suddenly disappeared.
Yesterday, following one bit of forum advice, I tried using a separate user account labeled Premiere Pro and the program did play the files--though it wouldn't let me save the project file where it resided. Now, however, the program is nowhere to be found. I have the original installation disk but I have heard of problems arising from reinstallations.
To answer some other questions, I did try to download the latest update for PPro CS4. I am using PPro for Mac on a Mac Pro with a 10.5.8 OS. I can't say for certain exactly which version I "have" of PPro CS 4 since the update because the program has disappeared and is not turning up in the Finder anywhere, nor can I recall the exact wording of the error message saying I couldn't save my project as edited under the alternate user. The program and system worked fairly problem free for almost four years before the last few days. I use a variety of source footage, including .avi, .mov, .flv, .mp3, .wav.
One Snow Leopard user has recommended using a Root User account which doesn't seem to apply here. For example, he referred to a "Network Account User" option that was supposed to appear in Accounts/Login Options but doesn't on my Leopard. Also, as per another user at Trafford College, I revised permissions to select Everyone...however since the program isn't appearing on my computer, there's no telling if that worked.
Community help is greatly appreciated--especially in light of one forum report of someone who was on the phone with Adobe for hours with this kind of problem but without getting it solved.

Print back to tape FCP & Z1...how?

I need to print back to tape from my edited footage using Final Cut Pro 5.0.4 and my Sony Z1...cant work out how to do it can anyone tell me there workflow to do this?
Should the camera be in VCR mode??? and how do you record?

I recently tried this (with Sony Z1) and it wouldn't work - until I trashed my preferences:
FCP gets it’s knickers in a twist from time to time and if you trash your preferences it will often sort things out (with no harm done to your project etc etc) . . .
Download FCP Rescue :

Once it’s downloaded, hit Backup first, then hit Trash. If the Trash does no good, hit Restore and everything's as it was. (Easy-Peasy)
FCP Rescue is freeware but there’s provision to make a donation if you wish – (it’s well worth it)
