Cs4 trial setup wont run

i don't know if this is the right place to post this but im having a problem installing the trial of photoshop cs4 extended. i have vista so when i click setup i right click and chose run as administrator. the window flashes then nothing happens but when i get to task manager it is running as a process.

What version of Vista and what hardware? have you considered just logging in as administrator instead of your normal user account?

Flash cs4 trial uninstall - wont uninstall

When I looked at the forum list - i saw no option or forum for installation issues - adobe search results were worse than google's - so i'm posting here in hopes of a human response....
Adobe support has not responsed for the last five days - so i guess i'm on my own...
I installed the Flash CS4 trial - when it expired - I purchased CS4 Premium and installed it - NOW, Flash will not launch, gives an error message stating the licenase has expried. The twenty two hundred license I just purchased and used for the install - is expired!?!?!?!
So I uninstalled CS4 Premium - checked my registery - and re-installed.......givies me the exact same results - licensed expired.....
Did some research - found Adobe had created a special tool - just for the uninstallation or removal of their CS4 trial software - so, I download and run the CS4 clean up script.... Rebooted, checked the registry and re-installed yet again..............Same results - licensed expired.....
So now -
I installed purchased copy of CS4 Premium - it does not work
I ran the uninstall - rebooted
I ran the Microsoft clean up - rebooted
I ran the CS4 Clean up - rebooted
Checked the registry - rebooted
tried to run the CS4 installation again - except this time - the setup no longer runs - setup gets to 85%-ish and shuts down - throwing out a message stating that Setup cannot run. Contact Support.
Contact Adobe Support? - are you serious? they have not responded in five days...after spending over two thousand dollars and i'm unable to run the software...think I'll just request a refund instead.....
Before I totally give up on CS4 - I thought I'd try the forums and see if anyone is generous and kind enough to offer some direction.....
I would greatly appreciate some assistance, Please.
I'm running windows vista 64 with triple core processor (Vista, I know....that's my first mistake)
I've ran the microsoft and CS removal scripts, rebooted
and now
the program went from not running due to expired license to the setup not running at all
Any suggestions - other than dropping the box off a cliff???

I installed and then uninstalled (without dragging to the trash) a trial of Photoshop CS3. Now none of my CS2 programs work. The message says "a serious error has been detected, to continue using CS2 please reinstall the application." I got the same "we no longer provide support for this product, please consider spending another $600 to upgrade to CS4" message from Adobe. Attempts to reinstall have not been successful. Now what?

Setup Wont Run (Flash Perfesional CS3)

When i start Extractor (which i downloaded off thr Adobe
Site) for CS3 Flash Perfesional it exctracted the CS3 Flash
perfesional folder. I opened the folder it extracted and ran the
setup in it. When the setup is run it opens up a little windows
that disapears before i can see what it is and then nothing happens
The window sort of looks like a coping window but i cant
tell.
Iv checked taskmanager theres nothing in there that i cant
tell is related to the setup.
I have tried running in compatibility mode but that didnt
work either. I have tried running as an admin with no success
either.
Iv tried restarting the computer that didnt work. Extracting
to a different folder didnt work either.
System Specs:
Vista Home Prem 32Bit SP1
Intel Q6700 Quad Core 2.66Ghz
2Gb DDR2 Ram

Driver cd setup wont run?

I have a new fx5600vtdr128 installed in a new computer, with a fresh install of win98, (asus a7n8x de luxe rev 2.0 + Athlon2600 barton core)
I tried it on my 2 other computers, the old one i was replacing did the same, the computer of my son did run but gave a fault when exiting.

What you mean by wont run ? then can you explore the cd ? if can just find the driver in the cd and install it.
Else , download at MSI website for the driver

Indesign Trial Setup wont launch

I've installed the trial application folder, but when I click the setup file, it launches, then crashes about 10 seconds later and I can't get past this. I'm runing Vista pro 32. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Turn off UAC?
Try registering jscript.dll. I'm not sure how to do that on vista, but for XP you do it by clicking Start > Run and type regsvr32 jscript.dll with the space, but without the quotes, and hit enter. You should see a dialog saying it was successful. In theory this should not be necessary, but some manufactures apparently don't enable javascript by default. Doing it again won't hurt anything.

Photoshop CS4 trial setup exits right after executing

Hi. I just did a clean install of Snow Leopard on my late 2006 macbook. Then I tried to install Photoshop CS4 to try out CS4 because I've been using CS3 before.
The setup just exits after I opened it.
Anybody else experiencing this?

Illustrator cs4 trial

Having trouble installing cs4 trial for mac, run akamai download manager and got the .dmg file, when I click on that it starts to verify but then I get a message in a box:
'warning the following disk image failed to mount' and 'no mountable file systems'.
New to macs so any help would be good thanks.

Looks like the .dmg did not download completely and is damaged. When I downloaded it it took its own sweet time to complete but then worked fine. I suggest you re-try the download.

Apple Imac G5 Wont Run Setup From DVD

hi guys ive got an apple imac g5
and for some reason it wont run setup from any of the mac dvd's or cd's i have
the superdrive spins up and it does nothing even when i press and hold the letter c' key on the keyboard
the spec is as follows
Imac G5 - 17/1.6/2gb/combo/500gb hd
any help would be greatfull
and another thing can i use my windows based pc to load the os via target mode useing firwire

Another help source (if you haven't already done so).
Go to your OS Help Menu. In the search field type dvd or cd
Click on all the troubleshooting topics & Support Articles that pertain to your issue.
You can also do the same in Disk Utility. Open same up.
At the bottom left of the window, click on the purple button w/the "?" in the middle.
This will bring up the Help Menu.

Running Fireworks CS4 Trial Version after Using CS4 beta

I tried out the Fireworks CS4 beta some months ago, but after
getting tired of all the bugs, I uninstalled it and decided to wait
for the released Trial Version. I downloaded that today and
installed it, but when I try to run it I get a message that says
"The license for this product has expired." and then it quits,
never fully loading. I'm guessing this has something to do with the
CS4 beta I had previously installed and uninstalled. Perhaps I
didn't uninstall it properly, but now I need to know how to move
forward so I can give the release version of Fireworks CS4 and
proper evaluation.
Any ideas on how I can get the CS4 Trial Version
running?

Uninstall the trial.
Then dl/run the clean up script here

Downloaded CS4 trial and says license expired so it won't run

I downloaded Photoshop CS4 trial yesterday and i tired typing in my dad's photoshop license code. It accepted it then said it was expired. Now photoshop won't open. I tired getting the trial under another email address after i uninstalled the the first trial I downloaded and the new trial still said license expired. Please help. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

If your dad is using both of his activations then you just screwed up the trial. Once the trial is expired then you are out of luck. the only way to reset a trial is to completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall the OS fresh. then don't enter any serial numbers.
Photoshop is a single user license that means that if you install your dad's photoshop you are breaking the EULA.

Adobe cs4 (trial) Installation problem to WinXP sp3

I tried to download and install CS4 (trial) with akamai download manager. When I go to CS4 folder, I try to run the setup but i get the error "The Adobe Setup encounter a problem and must be terminated" I tried to open the setup.exe from the zip folder, it run's to the end and then the same error comes up again. I deactivated my firewall but again I can't install CS4. I contacted the technical support but they didn't help me. I get the following error data which I prompted to send to Microsoft. " AppName:setup.exe,AppVer:2.0.133.0, ModName:msvcr80.dll, ModName:8.0.50727.4053, Offset:000149d1. Where is the problem? Can anyone help me?

I am also currently experiencing this problem. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cannot install Photoshop CS4 Trial on Vista x64

Hi everyone,
I got a big problem, I download the Photoshop Extended Trial Version and extracted it without any problem. But when I double-click setup.exe nothing happens. It seems to popup a window, but its gone every fast. When I open the Taskmanager I can see the setup.exe under processes, but nothing happens also after hours of waiting.
My PC:
Intel E8400
4 Gb G.Skill DDR1000
Gigabyte P35-DS3
Gecube HD3780 X-Turbo
Windows Vista x64 Ultimate
C: (NTFS) 94800 MB (18418 MB frei)
H: (NTFS) 61440 MB (27418 MB frei) <--- here I extracted the Folder
What I had tried beforce:
- Installing in safe-mode = same problem
- register jscript.dll myself = same problem
- Uninstall CS3 = same problem
- Using AdobeCS3Cleaner
- Using AdobeCS3Cleaner -> found nothing...
- delete last things of CS3 with TuneUp

To avoid complications, I would have uninstalled the trial first, then run the Adobe clean-up script, followed by the installation of the full version using the default location.
This has both a 32 bit and a 64 bit component, installed as follows:
32 bit C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4
64 bit C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS4 (64 Bit*)
The 64 bit version will be the default on a 64 bit OS.
In your situation I would uninstall everything related to CS4, run the Adobe clean-up script and start again.

bits have a small
b and Bytes have a big one!

Alert when installing CS4 trial suite on Windows 7

Hi,
When I try to install CS4 trial software on Windows 7 Family Premium I get a message saying I do not have Windows XP 64 bits or Vista 64 bits and I should upgrade my system... How come?
I have a new Toshiba laptop with 4gb of RAM and 500Gb of HD.
I see setup.exe dates back from September 2008 so it is not surprising Windows 7 is not recognized. Should I install anyway?

Yes the message is about upgrading to Vista or XP because the requirements are not satisfied. But I have Windows 7 Home Premium...

I finally decided to continue the install and it seemed ok. The only problem I have is with Dreamweaver because I cannot put the right root folder in the website setup dialog (I select the right folder but it writes the folder above it).

Yesterday i downloaded Adobe Photoshop CS4 Trial from adobe's official website. it took about 2 hours on 1MBPS DSL. it was 814 mb 7z file and anoth extractor when i tried to extract the 7z file with adobe extractor it went fine but at 100% an error occured (see the screen shot). Now when i go to folder where the setup files has been extracted and open the setup file. nothing happens no file is opened even after many retries. plz help me.

Can't Initialize Install of Premiere Pro CS4 Trial

Every time I try and install the Premiere Pro CS4 Trial that I downloaded from this website, it freezes and the program doesn't initialize. But under the task manager it still takes up CPU. I extracted the premiere trial folder to my hard drive and I'm trying to run the "setup.exe" in the folder. I then have to go into my task manager and end the process or else it keeps taking up CPU.
Does anyone know why this is happening? It seems like it is only me.
My operating system is 64 Bit Windows 7 Home Premium.

Simply remove/uninstall AME CS5.
