CS4 Trial won't work (Vista)

Hi,
I try to setup CS4 Trial, but it won't work.
The error that I get is : Setup has detected a error and could not proceed. Please contact Customs...
Setup was allways been done with NO firewall active, nor AntiVirus tool and UTP cable disconnected (no Internet connection).
My PC : Vista Home Premium, Intel Dual Core2, 4 Gb RAM.
What I allready tryded :
Uninstalled CS4 and ALL Adobe products ( even PDF Reader) using RevoUninstaller
Uninstalled CS4 using MS Clean Uninstall (msiuu2)
Uninstalled using msiuu2 and WinCS4 Cleanupscript
Digged deep in to Registery and deleted keys reffering to Adobe.
Used Hijackthis.
Used Combofix to make sure, nothing was there.
All that with the neccessarie reboots.
Nothing helpded thou.
Please advise.

I am using quit a while Revo Uninstaller, and it has proved to be a trustworthy tool.
And no, it wasn't used first.
use the CS3 Clean Utility a second or third time
I deleted, re-install, reboot like more then 18 times
Recovery mode ? Did that, no use.
Update ? I have the latest Vista updates.
Did I mentiontioned, this is a brand new PC (only 3 weeks old )?
Reinstall my OS, just to try-out a Trial ?
Nah...not worth it. If a Trial cost that much trouble to install,
what do I have to think about purchasing the full product?
I don't mean to be rude, but Adobe is the only tool that give me probs and when I Google... it seems I 'am not the only one.
If no other solution is coming, I have to change to other software to build my websites.

Flash CS4 Trial won't install

Hi There!
I've been trying to install Flash CS4 Trial since its release
but always get the same error message.
The package is uncompressed and install process begins, goes
to 100% and then a message box comes on asking to check disk space
(I've got plenty) and permissions and privileges (I'm using the the
admin account). Firewalls down, no good.
Tried on 3 different machines with plenty of disk space,
memory, etc, both on XP and Vista. Doesn't work.
I have also downloaded the same file 3 or 4 times. No good.
I wonder if anybody else has faced the same frustrating
problems.
I had previously installed CS4 suite (beta) and it all worked
fine.
Please, help!

What in the World? Is there anyway to get FLaSH CS4 trial
version to install? OK. I have Service Pack 3, it keeps telling me
to disable my Firewall, (which I have done over and over, after
re-booting...) I even tried to install after checking off
everything in the msconfig in the Run it won't do anything
different... Also, I still haven't seen hide nor hair of any
'FLEXnet' file or app ANYWHERE. Honestly, what is with this crazy
'install' routine Adobe? Help! I really want to be working with
this new prog!!! Please do away with this insane install thing

UPDATE: Ok, now i've gotten to the next problem: the Install
stops at 8% (Dynamiclink Support) no matter what... I was able to
install the CS4 of Photoshop though. I'm going to try removing my
licensed copy of Flash MX2004 in case it is interfering with the
CS4 Flash install... Other options may be try installing the
Premiere so that it can get the Dynamiclink Support installed ...?
maybe CleanScript...? no way to find the simple solution on any
support pages or forums though? hmm...
SOLVED:
I managed to put off some bills and purchased the upgrade
from MX2004 and the install worked fine... go figure! (This also
allowed for the phone tech support assistance i apparently needed
too. I got a nice person after a 15 minute wait.) The purchased
upgrade download worked as far as the install went: good; but: I
went click on the FLaSH icon to open the program after a reboot and
it said "the Licensing is no durn good no more." So I said,hmmm...
Here's what was likely a problem: the FLEXnet folder (had to
do an Explorer search to locate these) had been duplicated from a
previous install attempt a few days earlier and the duplicate AS
WELL AS the 'non-duplicate' had a 'read only' status that need to
be un-checked and permissions had to be set on the FLEXnet folder
for Admin, etc. That was pretty much the culprit. Hope this may

Photoshop CS4 Trial - Won't let me save anywhere...

Hi,
I'd like to download the trial for PS CS4, but a window pops up and tells me that I am not allowed to save it in My Documents. I tried with my desktop, it didn't work either. I tried with other places, it didn't work too. I am the administrator of this computer and I couldn't find the problem. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a security setting. Somewhere in your security settings you don't have the required permission to save like you want to.
Look at your anti-virus settings and firewall settings too.

CS4 Trial won't download

I presently have CS3 and would like to try CS4 before purchasing. I have Vista-64, 12G Ram, i7 PC. After initiating the download, it just sits with a message saying "adobe download starting"...that's it...no dowmload. Is there a switch or setting I'm missing?? Attached is trhe message I receive

The image finally uploaded but the message is illegible. Couldn't you just crop that bit out so we can read it?
Make sure you don't have AV or firewalls blocking the download (and what SDA said).
Do other things download OK?

Illustrator (trial) won't work

I downloaded illustrator (trial) yesterday and it worked great, now it's asking me to uninstall, will I be able to install the trial version again?
Or how can I fix this error? I'm using Windows 7

What is the exact error message? If only the program components have been damaged, a reinstall should fix things, but of course there could be something going on with the licensing as well, which in turn may end your trial prematurely...

I upgraded to Mac OSX Mavericks and my adobe cs4 licensing won't work

I bought my mac book pro a couple of years ago for my education at Kendall College of Art and Design. As a student I had my computer come installed with the student edition of Adobe Creative Suite 4. A few weeks ago, I went in to the Apple store to be advised regarding my thoughts on updating my Mac OSX Snow Leopard to Mavericks. I was told that Mavericks was stable and that I would be able to continue using my current Adobe Creative Suite on the new operative system.
Now when I try to start the program up on Mavericks, i receive the following window:
Licensing for this product has stopped working.
This product has has encountered a problem which requires that you restart your computer before it can be launched.
If you continue to see this message after restarting your computer please contact either your IT administrator or adobe technical support for help, and mention the error code shown at the bottom of this screen.

Premiere Pro Trial won't work for me!

Whenever I try downloading the trial for premiere pro it says "no apps are installed to open this type of link (aam)" btw right now i have a windows 8

Trial won't work!? any suggestions??

Hi everyone. So excited to check out the CS3, I installed
Dreamweaver, Flash, & Illustrator. When I go to start them, I
get "problem was encountered while trying to load the trial period
for adobe ...". I even did a clean-install to try to fix it, but to
no avail.
Any suggestions? I would appreciate any help you can offer.

Lightroom trial won't work

I downloaded the 30 day Lighroom trial and it wouldn't let me use it and now the 30 days are up.

Please install CC desktop and try to download Lightroom: https://creative.adobe.com/#products/creative-cloud . If still you get the same error please disable antivirus and firewall on your machine and try downloading again.

Photoshop CS4 Extended Trial Won't Extract

I just finally managed to get the download manager working and downloaded PS CS4 Trial and when it hits 99% extracting says I don't have enough hdd space or privlages.
I'm admin, have plenty of hdd space, using windows xp sp2.

To where are you extracting it and how much is "plenty of hdd space"?

Open iTunes
From the File menu, choose one of the following choices:

Add Folder to Library
Navigate to and select the file or folder that you want to add
If iTunes is set to "Copy files to the iTunes Music folder when adding to library," iTunes will copy all content that is added to the iTunes library to the iTunes Music folder. To adjust this setting or change the location of this folder, go to the Advanced tab in iTunes Preferences.

I STILL cannot get DW 8 to work correctly, and after exhausting every other avenue, I though I would try to down load the CS4 trial! I have followed all the instruction but I cant even get that to down load correctly!!

I have waited for both the exe and 7z files to fully down load but when I double click the exe file (as per instructions) I get this message
I then fiddled with it a bit more.. not quite sure what I did, have have down loaded it again! I got a message that windows didnt know which programe had created it ... etc... not knowing what to do I navigated to DW 8... and NOW i get this message...

Well, "Access denied". You either have a permissions problem, your temporary directories are full or the drive is in an unhealthy state otherwise. Log in as administrator, run CCleaner, defragment the drive, check the directory privileges for your other user...

Downloaded CS4 trial and says license expired so it won't run

I downloaded Photoshop CS4 trial yesterday and i tired typing in my dad's photoshop license code. It accepted it then said it was expired. Now photoshop won't open. I tired getting the trial under another email address after i uninstalled the the first trial I downloaded and the new trial still said license expired. Please help. I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?

If your dad is using both of his activations then you just screwed up the trial. Once the trial is expired then you are out of luck. the only way to reset a trial is to completely wipe your hard drive and reinstall the OS fresh. then don't enter any serial numbers.
Photoshop is a single user license that means that if you install your dad's photoshop you are breaking the EULA.

Camera RAW 431 won't work on my Vista 64 machine.

Camera RAW 431 won't work on my Vista 64 machine. I keep getting the error that it's the wrong file type when trying to open the RAW file, and I get no thumbnails. I've deleted all cache files manually--not using the Adobe help because their wrong about their file locations, that's for Windows XP and not Vista. (You can't access "Documents and Settings" in Vista, and there is no:
Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats
Vista:Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats
I even uninstalled the entire CS3 Suite and reinstalled it. It still won't work. In fact, I can't even use the old raw plugin file anymore--it now won't open RAW files either.
Anyway, I just need a confirmation that Camera RAW 431 actually works in Vista 64, since the directions do not in the least relate to Vista 64, but, rather, Windows XP, and the method used to get RAW 431 to work in Vista 64.

"C:\Program Files (x86)\" is the location of 32-bit apps (like Photoshop CS3) in 64-bit Vista. It is known as simply "C:\Program Files\" in all 32-bit editions of Windows. Since the vast majority of Windows/Photoshop users are likely still on a 32-bit platform, it is understandable why the instructions omit the 64-bit specific folder path.
The VirtualStore copy indicates that at some point, you (or Photoshop) attempted a programmatic update of the file, and it attempted to write into the restricted Common Files folder. Vista redirected that to the VirtualStore folder instead. On my 64-bit Vista install, I have no Adobe files in there at all... this is likely due to my insistence on manual updates.
I would try this:
1. Backup all your personal Photoshop files (actions, palettes, window positions, keyboard shortcuts, brushes, etc.).
2. Uninstall Photoshop CS3 as best you can.
3. Manually delete all Photoshop-related folders inside the VirtualStore. You may have to look inside both the virtualised "Program Files (x86)\Common Files" and "Program Files (x86)\Adobe" folders.
4. Run the WinCS3Clean script to ensure there are no problematic bits left over from your beta CS3 install. I'm hoping your manual excursion through the Windows registry did not hurt more than it helped.
5. Reinstall CS3 and manually update the "Camera Raw.8bi" plugin. I put mine in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Plug-Ins\CS3\File Formats\".
Depending on how your OS is configured, it may be easier if you login as Administrator first. Photoshop CS3, Bridge 2.1, ACR 4.4 (and all previous versions) and Lightroom 1.4 (and all previous versions) work as expected on my 64-bit Vista machine here, so this is not a general compatibility issue.

InDesign CS4 Mac upgrade (CS5 won't work)

Does anyone know how or where I can get an upgrade license for Mac InDesign CS4 (from CS3)?
I have the CS4 trial version installed, but when I click to purchase a license, it goes to CS5 page. I have a Macintosh G5 which is not supported by CS5.
I contacted Adobe Customer Service via live chat and they were unable to help. He kept saying to go to a reseller. But everywhere I search, CS4 is out of stock (except for illegitimate crack software).
CS5 can't save CS3 files, so I am having problems with people sending me files, and one client wants to use CS4-compatible InCopy.
I would love to get CS5, but I really can't afford a new computer right now. But I could afford a CS4 upgrade. I can't believe there isn't someone at Adobe who could generate a legitimate Macintosh InDesign CS4 upgrade serial number and sell it to me.

I have a standalone license for InDesign.
Good point on upgrading. Although, it really isn't what I wanted to hear.
I use InDesign at home for some freelance work, but it isn't my primary job. Uprading all my software every version would be a pretty big chunk of what I actually make on my freelance work, especially last year when the economy was in the tank.
