CS5.5 Design Premium software downloaded; file corrupt error

I downloaded CS5.5 Design Premium for windows three times, and each time I got an error saying the ZIP file was corrupt. Where can I get the software, I reformatted my hard drive, I own CS5.5 design premium and I have a serial number, but I don't have the installation disks. Yes, I downloaded both files 1 & 2. The 3.6 gig zip file wont open when I run the .exe
I had a chat session with an Adobe rep, he said this issue was too technical for him to handle and to go to the forums...

Adobe Creative CS5 Suite Design premium software compatible??

Hello! I am new to the Apple support forum!!
And also to my new mac that I got a few months ago last year!!
I want to ask a simple question!!
I have an Adobe Creative Suite CS5 Design Premium software that I brought online
from "The Academic SuperStore a few months ago last year however, I brought
the windows verison of this software program. Is the windows version of this program
compatible with my 13 inch MacBook Pro computer?? Do I have to buy another
version of this program that is only for the mac platform and not the windows platform??
My operating system on my macbook pro computer is Snow Leopard Mac OS X 10.7.5

So what do I do in the mean time!!
Because, what had happen was that I was rushin trying to get this computer
I wanted it so bad!! and now I can't even use the program I spent close to
$600 on online at the Academic SuperStore. Now I am stuck
with it and it is just sitting around collecting dust. I didn't know!! that I was
going to have to buy another version of this program for it to work on my
mac??? Me and my mother doesn't have another $600 to spend on another
copy of this program in a different platform. Plus, this puts me behind in
important work I was hoping that I could use it to design and create my
mothers website for her non-profit organization and now I can't!!!
I think that this is very unfair!!! and it is upsetting me!!! it is unfair to those
who cannot afford this program and to people like me don't have this type
of money to buy this expensive program. me and my family are poor!! we
hardly have any food in our house and the SSI people have cut our foodstamps
down to $70 total a month that doesn't nearly amount to the amount of food
we buy in the store every year.
My mother brought this MacBook pro computer online off of her debit card
for me as a college graduation gift last year hoping I would get some type
of use out of it!!! I say!! me having my first apple computer is starting to
become very Dissapointing to me and my mother!!!!!!!

Download file corrupt error 205

Yesterday when I tried to open Dreamweaver, I got some error about the registration/license and it would not open. So I uninstalled it and tried downloading it from creative cloud. For the last 24 hours the download/install fails with an error saying the download file is corrupt. Anyone know anything about this?

Check your Adobe account online... it will be the only place you might find it if you registered the software and if you did not keep a record of it yourself.

Unable to open downloaded CS5.5 Design Premium file

Have downloaded CS5.5 design premium from http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/cs5-5-product-downloads.html but when I try to open up the .dmg file I just get a message 'Image file not recognised'. So I am unable to install and access my programs.

Download again using another browser and possibly save to a different storage location.

Adobe Creative Suite 6: Design & Web Premium (software download card)

I purchased Adobe Creative Suite 6: Design & Web Premium (software download card), the download package appeared on my destop. Then the zip files: Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium MAC.zip and Adobe Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium MAC.zip.cpzg. Whenever I click to unzip once it finishes it goes away and nothing happens. I've searched my computer for the files and the Adobe Creative Suite 6 application, but I can't find anything.

try removing the file extension and just leaving the zip.

I have Photoshop CS5.5 Design Premium and need to open Nikon NEF files

I have Photoshop CS5.5 Design Premium and need to open Nikon NEF files.
I just downloaded the plug in for CS5.5 and it does not work. I put the Camera Raw.8bi file in the correct location as specifiec in the "read me" file.
Can someone guide me on how to do this, adn make it work?

so far no luck.
I ran DNG program for Windows (I have Win 8) and ran the menu to convert
the files on the same memory card from the camera.   Of 135 files, the
status column for the first 68 files said "converted," but the for all the
rest, it says "There was an error writing the file."
Of the files that "converted," they do not open, and I get the same error
message as before: "Could not complete your request because it is not the
right kind of document."
So, what a mess.
I get conflicting indications of the version of Photoshop I have. When i
click "About Photoshop in the Help menu, it says CS5 Extended.    The Error
message for the dng files says CS5.1 Extended. Does it make a difference?
I've been at this three hours now. It's a pain.   For many years I had no
problem with NEF files, as I had installed the plug-in as required. This
time it is not working. So I am not new to this.

How can I download CS5.5 Design Premium? I have tried this link: Download CS5.5 products
But it does not work...its the download that I have tried numerous times unsuccessfully in which I believe doesn't work because it is not a trial version and needs a serial number. I will start downloading it and it does fine... when it is almost finished downloading it stops automatically and says I do not have the necessary requirements for the download.(which i believe what it wants is the serial number) Thing is... I have a serial number, I just don't know how I can input it before the download is even finished downloading.

Yes, you can save compatible files as long as you obey the rules like not using unsupported features such as nested groups, per group clipping masks, smart objects and several other things in Photoshop and use the "Maximize Compatibility" option. Illustrator will simply expand the appearance of objects or rasterize/ flatten them when going back to older versions if a feature is not available or changed in those old versions.

Need help downloading entire CS5.5 Design Premium application

I own CS5.5 Design Premium and I want to download it onto my new Mac. Except, this Mac does not have a place to put my installation CD in. So I am wanting to download Design Premium either in trial version or whatever in which I will input my serial number and thus have full access to all the design premium applications. Yet, I am unable to find the trial version for CS5.5 Design Premium... I have tried to download it via this link here but each time the download does not seem to work/finish. I think it is because it is the full version and believes that I don't have a serial number. I'm not sure. Someone please help me.

Problems with Re-installation of CS5.5 Design Premium

I bought a "Student & Teacher Edition" of the CS5.5 Design Premium in 2012. It was installed in my iMac and the software worked perfectly. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago, my iMac hard disk crashed and need to be replaced. When I got the iMac back recently, I re-installed my various softwares, including the CS5.5. The re-installation process went well initially until the 93% mark when there is a message that tells me to turn off the "SafariNotificat" application. I have no clue what that was. After looking through all the applications, I could not find such "SafariNotificat" application, I cancelled the installation process. Apparently, all the applications in the CD were installed successfully, except for the Adobe Acrobat X Pro. When I attempted to install my CD again. I received error message "Exit Code: 7 -------------------------------------- Summary -------------------------------------- - 1 fatal error(s), 2 error(s), 0 warning(s) ERROR: DW020: Found payload conflicts and errors: ERROR: DW020: - Adobe Flash CS5.5 depends on Flash Player to be installed. FATAL: DW020: Conflicts were found in the selected payloads. Halting installation. -----------". This happens even when I installed using the downloaded program from Adobe. Can anyone advise me on this? How can I get my Adobe Acrobat X Pro re-installed? Thank you.

Hi! Mylenium, I managed to solve the problem through another forum entitled : "Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium Installation". I followed the instructions (by robski) i.e. uninstalled the Flash Catalyst and reinstalled both the Flash Catalyst and Adobe Acrobat X Pro. The applications were successfully installed and working fine! Thank you for your help too! Cheers!

CS5.5 Design Premium: installer failed to initialize

Ok, I'm having this problem. This started because I had to perform a system restore. I ended having to go back so far with the system restore that all of my Adobe Products(among others) no longer appeared to be installed.
So I downloaded Adobe CS5.5 Design premium from a link mentioned elsewhere in the discussions. Everything extracts fine, but when I execute the installer it always prompts "installer failed to initialize". I have downloaded the Adobe support advisor. It shows multiple:
cpsid_82829s1: "A restart is pending," bootstrapper error has occurred.

I have clicked the links(http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-error-messages-bootstrapper-cs5.html) below and followed the instructions. There is no "InProgress" Entry in the registry in the locations provided. I have also ran the "Adobe CS5 Cleaner Tool " Multiple times and have removed ALL. I have deleted every directory on this computer that says Adobe.
This is a clients computer and we REALLY don't want to wipe and reload(Money/time and all that). Can anyone help me with this error?

System restore is a first resort for most people when there is a problem in Windows. Obviously it wasn't a hit in this situation. I know a wipe and reload would fix it. If you read my post you'd see I'm trying to avoid that. If you have any information that can help me there I would love to know it.
