CS5 crashes for no reason

I'm on windows 7 x64. No third party plugins installed, no fonts installed, nothing.

Windows 7 offers some self-diagnostics.
For example, try this:
1.  Open a CMD window.
2.  Type SFC /VERIFYONLY and press Enter
If there are any protected Windows files that have become changed or corrupted, it will tell you, and you could then choose to use the SFC /SCANNOW command to correct them.
You can also start a CHKDSK operation.  The GUIest way is to:
1.  Open Windows Explorer.
2.  Navigate to Computer, then down to the drive you want to check.
3.  Right-click the drive, chose Properties, then the Tools tab.
4.  In the Error-checking section, click  [ Check now... ].
Check your windows logs as well...
1.  Click Start, then type event log in the search box.
2.  When View event logs comes up, click it.
