I bought CS5 Creative Suite (Student Version) through amazon, and now wish to transfer from my laptop to my new PC... is this possible?

Simply install it like on the original system. No magic procedure required. Just deactivate it on the old system if you no longer use it there.

Check your regional S&T pages for specifics. Generally commercial usage is allowed during school and after graduating, but in some regions extra restrictions may apply if e.g. your software is subsidized by your government or the license owned by the school and you just "loaned" it.

Adobe Creative Suite Student activation process?

Hello,
I am taking a web design class soon and I want to buy the Creative Suite student version. I understand you need to prove that you are a student to get the activation process completed. Can someone elaborate on exactly how this process goes?
Once I activate, do they give me a code that I can use, should I ever need to re-install (for instance, if my computer dies)? Or do I need to contat adobe and be in a class again to re activate.
I don't want to have to pay and take a class every time I want to install CS4.
Anyways, if anyone can shed some light on this for me, I'd appreciate it.

For a Student Edition of Adobe softwares, you must first submit your proof of status (i.e., class registration, enrollment form, valid photo id with expiration date on the school id) to Adobe.Once you submitted any of those mentioned, that's the time that that you're going to contact Adobe via phone or email to get your serial number for your s/w. The Activation process only takes place if you have uninstalled your Adobe software without deactivating it first.
If your desktop or laptop crashes and your s/w was still loaded on it, you can still reinstall it on another machine. Just make sure that you won't exceed the activation seats or else, it won't allow you to load it on another pc. Just for you to know. Adobe softwares can be installed and activated twice on 2 different machines but you cannot use it simultaneously. Just let me know if you still need help..

Please see Transfer an Adobe product license for information about transferring your CS5 license to another company. I don't believe that there is a fee involved--but both parties need to complete some paperwork, as outlined in that document.

Hi, i currently have CS5 creative suite design standard for student. I recently got a Mac and would love to have these programs on my Mac. Is there some way i can get a free version of this for the Mac? Do i need to contact adobe? If so, how do i contact them? Thank you for the help!

It depends on the platform of the product, If you have purchased Design standard CS5 for Windows then you can install it only on Windows.
So, If you had installed the product on windows OS before then it will not work on Mac.

You can download the software from the website and then type in your old serial number to activate it... that is, IF the installer database will work with your operating system. I am having problems reinstalling CS4 with a new computer running on Win 8.1. When I called customer support, they told me a whole lot of nothing for 45 minutes and then directed me to a chat session. After about 30 minutes on chat, I was basically told they don't offer support for older products. The website says "no known issues" for installation... but that very well may be because they are unwilling to record the issues when someone calls to report them! Good luck with your install. I wish I had CS5 at this point, as it appears there is still support available for it... but you are on the bubble timewise for that to continue. Other downloads

Invalid Serial number for Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection

I bought a macbook pro off of Kijiji the other year and it came with the Adobe CS5 Creative Suite Master Collection. Just the other month I upgraded my system to OS X Yosemite and now every time I try to open my products, it asks for the serial number which, when entered is said to be invalid. Also, I don't have much information about the Adobe Products because the guy I bought it from didn't send the information with my computer. Can anybody help!

As the title implies, the Adobe Application Manager alerts me that I have updates for my CS5 Creative Suite software. I tell it to download and install the updates. It gives me errors that simply say the following:

Replacement discs for cs5 creative suite

I am a college student and bought cs5 creative suite two years ago, and have since then lost my discs while moving around. My computer that has the program on it just finally bit the dust so to speak and I am wondering if there is a way to get replacement discs and how I would go about doing that.

After downloading & installing application of adobe creative suite cs2 version 6, screen of adobe photoshop cs2 is not opened by clicking icon . message is giving " ausba4.dll " was not present. Please guide me.?

I have downloaded & installed adobe creative suit cs2 version 6 but when I click the icon of adobe photoshop in desktop it is not opened & giving message " this application has failed to start because " ausba4.dll " was not found. reinstalling of the application may fix the problem " I have reinstall & opened many times but even then it is not opened. Please guide me accordingly.

I'd try disabling the Twain_32.8BA plugin in
C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS2\Plug-Ins\Import-Export
You can disable the plugin by putting an ~ (tilde) in front of the name or moving the plugin to your desktop.
Then try photoshop cs2 and see if you still get the error message.
I suspect the error has to do with your scanner driver, since photoshop cs2 does not have an ausba4.dll

you can but there may be some issues and a lot of files will be saved to your c drive, anyway.
