CS5. Deleting a user-defined preset Perspective Grid Preset???

CS5
Mac10.5.8
I want to delete a user-defined preset Perspective Grid Preset.
How can I do this?
http://help.adobe.com/en_US/illustrator/cs/using/WSb8134070d1ccd4cc-123066e6124d7ca3149-80 00.html
• Where do I hit Delete in the Perspective Grid Preset Options dialog box?
• There is no Delete option in the Grid Preset Options dialog box.
• Simply selecting my custom Grid and then hitting Delete on my keyboard does not work either.
What am I missing?
Please advise.
Thank you in advance.
Kathryn

Yippee! It worked.
I was looking at View>Perspective Grid>Define Grid dialog box
I am just getting my feet with CS5 and its new features.
A big thank you, Michael and Mylenium.

  • Link button to User Defined Object in Grid

    Hi,
    I'm using SAP B1 8.81 with B1DE.
    I have added a grid which is populated from a DataTable to a form.
    One of the columns in the grid contains the DocEntry of a User Defined Object.
    How can I display a link button on the grid ?
    Regards,
    Ben

    Hello Ben,
    You need to set the column object type.
    Dim oGrid As SAPbouiCOM.Grid = oForm.Items.Item("MyGrid").Specific
    oGrid.Columns.Item("DocEntry").Type = BoGridColumnType.gct_EditText
    Dim oEditCol As SAPbouiCOM.EditTextColumn = oGrid.Columns.Item("DocEntry")
    oEditCol.LinkedObjectType = "2" 'The SDK documentation says you should use the value 0, but in previous versions it didn't work, so I recommend you user a value other than -1 or 0
    You then need to catch the et_MATRIX_LINK_PRESSED event and other your user form...
    From the SDK Help File regarding the BoLinkedObjectType enum
    lf_None -1 No target object
    lf_UserDefinedObject 0 User-defined object
    lf_GLAccounts 1 G/L account object
    lf_BusinessPartner 2 Business Partner object
    lf_Items 4 Item object
    lf_SalesEmployee 53 Sales employee object

  • Is it possible to create user defined metrics in Grid Control 10.2.0.1 ?

    Hi,
    Is it possible to create user defined metrics(my SQL statement) in Grid Control 10.2.0.1
    (not 10.2.0.3) Linux/AIX ?

    I am not sure if I am correct, but for reasons best known to them, Oracle replaced rather than add.
    Even if you want to do a smart search using the part# (e.g B16242-03) in oracle.com, you get a whole list of results, but when you click on them, you get http://www.oracle.com/errors/404.html
    I found this copy http://www.oracle.polcreate.pl/em.102/b16242/toc.htm

  • How to add/restore user-defined presets (.cst files)?

    Having recently fixed my corrupted install of GB2 with a clean install of GB3, I want to restore all my customized twiddles. Restoring all my self-made and 3rd-party loops was as easy as dragging them to the Loop Browser. I'm less sure about how to restore things like my self-made Real Instrument presets and so forth (all those fiddly .cst files).
    From my old GB2 install, I archived the whole /Library/Application Support/GarageBand/Instrument Library/ tree, so all my presets and everything are saved in their correct locations under that path. So, for example, I can drill on down to my archived [...]/Instrument Library/Plug-In Settings/Amp Simulation/ and find my old user-defined .cst presets.
    When I drag them to the appropriate [...]/Instrument Library/Plug-In Settings/Amp Simulation/ location in the support files tree of my new GB 3 installation, I get a warning that I need authorization. This is presumably a permissions issue, and if I authorize it by typing in my admin password, my old .cst files will be where I want them.
    But I have a nagging worry about whether they'll be correctly recognized by GarageBand when I then restart it. Is there some other better/different way to get my old .cst presets recognized in the new installation? Will they not appear because they haven't been indexed or something? I want to be sure of the best way to do this so I don't mess up my shiny new GB3 installation
    Cheers,
    Carl
    iBook G4   Mac OS X (10.4.6)

    Making the backup archive before futzing around is certainly a good idea And, yes, there is quite a bunch of Instrument Library stuff new for GB3 that wasn't there in my GB2! (I look forward to messing with it
    When trying to copy my .cst and .pst files, when I clicked the Authenticate button on the you-ain't-got-permissions dialog box that came up, nothing happened. So I twiddled the permissions for the whole Instrument Library via Get Info, and then moved my stuff. That worked, though of course, Repair Permissions in Disk Utility won't fix them back now because the files aren't on the Start-Up disk. But, hopefully, it shouldn't really matter!
    For some reason, it still wouldn't recognize the added .cst and .pst files until I'd trashed the GB .plist/.cs and restarted, but now it seems to be fine. It was a bit slow to respond when I tested things be selecting some of my newly restored presets, but perhaps that's because it was still indexing. I haven't really checked it all through thoroughly to make sure things sound all right, but the signs are good
    Cheers,

  • Illustrator CS5 + User Defined Symbols

    Hi,
    Could anyone please tell me is the saved user defined symbols suppose to appear in "../Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS5/Presets/en_GB/Symbols" folder? I do not see it appears in that folder however I managed to load it from "Open Symbol Library >> User Defined" when I am in Adobe Illustrator.
    That created another issue as I cannot delete the user defined symbol if I want to.
    ** I am also having the same issue for the user defined "Workspace" as well, it does not appears in "../Applications/Adobe Illustrator CS5/Presets/en_GB/Workspaces" folder.
    Thanks and regards,
    Wayne.

    The fact that To edit my User-Generated Symbols library requires ferreting about six layers deep in the system preferences is really really very broken.
    I should add, that the Illustrator font choice menus are still lost somewhere in the early 90's... Someone in management at Adobe should try a top-down redesign of these apps with a new group of people who start with the idea that anything is possible...preferably that don't care one bit how it used to work... • SQL Statement Works In sqlplus, Not Grid Ctl For User Defined Metric

    I'm trying these queries:
    Query 1:
    select '0', '0' from dual
    union
    SELECT
    to_char(d.sid),
    to_char(d.serial#)
    FROM v$sql a,
    dba_Users c,
    v$session d
    WHERE
    c.Username = 'SYSADM'
    AND (a.Elapsed_Time * 0.000001 > 5
    OR a.Executions > 1000)
    AND a.Executions > 0
    AND c.User_Id = a.ParSing_User_Id
    AND (Round(a.Elapsed_Time * 0.000001 / a.Executions)) > 10
    AND a.last_active_time > (sysdate - 1)
    and a.sql_id = d.sql_id
    Query 2:
    select 0, 0 from dual
    union
    SELECT
    d.sid,
    d.serial#
    FROM v$sql a,
    dba_Users c,
    v$session d
    WHERE
    c.Username = 'SYSADM'
    AND (a.Elapsed_Time * 0.000001 > 5
    OR a.Executions > 1000)
    AND a.Executions > 0
    AND c.User_Id = a.ParSing_User_Id
    AND (Round(a.Elapsed_Time * 0.000001 / a.Executions)) > 10
    AND a.last_active_time > (sysdate - 1)
    and a.sql_id = d.sql_id
    As you can see, Query 1 is selecting character results, Query 2 is selecting numerical results. Both work from sqlplus on the host. Trying to run either of them in a user defined metric in Grid Control returns: ORA-00918: column ambiguously defined
    1. Why is the error returned in Grid Control?
    2. Is there a way to see exactly which column Grid Control has the issue with?

    Never mind, I got it.

  • User Defined metric getting deleted

    Hi,
    We are running Oracle 10.2.0.5 Enterprise Manager and we have one of the database running Oracle 11.2.0.3. I created a User defined metric and every time I create it gets deleted and the rule fails. Can someone please let me know where to check which process is deleting the user defined metric?

    What you are trying to di is certainly possible.
    You need however to create a Plugin for this. By creating a Plugin you will be able to create a "Custom" target type, which allows you to display and use it in the OEM Console just like all other targets.
    Check http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/oem/extensions/index.html for more information on how to do this.

  • How to pop-up a text box for a grid item on a user defined table?

    Hello,
    I have a user defined table with a grid & one of the columns is for comments. What I'm trying to do is to pop up a text box when double clicking in the column field. This would be the same as the Item Details column in the Sales Order ittems grid.
    Thanks,

    Please post your question on SDK forum.  Only SDK could meet your need.

  • How to fill the records from a User Define Table to PO item Grid

    Hi To all,
    I need to fill data from User Define table records into Purchase Order Item Grid.
    I created an UDF Filed in PO - Header Part - "PRS"(Filed Name)
    By using Formatted Search in itemcode column, i called a query,
    "Select itemcode, qty from (@user define tablename) where PRS = $http://OPOR.U_PRS"
    For eg:
    Output from querry
    ItemCode Qty
    ABC 1
    DEF 2
    DFG 7
    SDGD 9
    By using formatted search it is filling only first data in to itemcode column in PO Grid.
    Please help, how can i fill ALL the data in to my PO Grid?
    Thanks in Advance
    SAGAR

    The easisest way is to create datasource and the result bind to grid.
    Datasource:
               oDBDataSource = oForm.DataSources.DBDataSources.Add("@usertablename")
                Dim xoConditions As SAPbouiCOM.Conditions
                Dim xoCondition As SAPbouiCOM.Condition
                xoConditions = New SAPbouiCOM.Conditions
                xoCondition = xoConditions.Add
                xoCondition.BracketOpenNum = 1
                xoCondition.Alias = "u_zn"
                xoCondition.Operation = SAPbouiCOM.BoConditionOperation.co_EQUAL
                xoCondition.CondVal = "cond"
                xoCondition.BracketCloseNum = 1
                oDBDataSource.Query(xoConditions)
    binding (example for matrix, in grid is simillar)
                oMatrix.Clear()
                Dim cols As SAPbouiCOM.Columns
                Dim column As SAPbouiCOM.Column
                cols = oMatrix.Columns
                column = cols.Item("colX")
                column.DataBind.SetBound(True, "@usertable", "u_x")
    oMatrix.LoadFromDataSource()
    hoep it helps

  • Issue while deleting user defined field in oim 11.1.1.3

    All,
    Made a mistake while creating user defined field called "Profile for" (loing to OIM -> advanced -> configuration -> User configuration). We are trying to delete it. It appears to get deleted from user attributes screen. But when we run LDAP User Create and Update Reconciliation Task we get the following error below:
    oracle.iam.ldapsync.exception.ProcessLDAPReconDataException: oracle.iam.ldapsync.exception.ReconEventCreationException: Thor.API.Exceptions.tcAPIException: Profile for - LDAPUser object does not exists for resource object
    Is any thing else need to be deleted adn cleaned up?
    thanks in advance,
    Prasad.

    How do i check what resource object the recon task is running against. here is what i found so far.
    I cannot find LDAPUser resource object when i query Resource Management -> Resource Objects in design console. Same thing with Manage Resource and search (here i only find Xellerate User, Xellerate Organiztion, USERS_GTC, and Installation) in OIM advanced administration menu.
    The LDAP User Create and Update Reconciliation job itself has the following parameters (batch size, last change number, OIM employee type, OIM User organization name, OIM user type)
    I also decompiled LDAPUserChangesReconTask and it is looking for LDAPUser metadata from MDS directly.
    Prasad.

  • Error creating a user defined report in the grid control

    I am trying to create a simple User Defined report in the Grid OEM
    Under the 'Elements' tab I have a 'Type' - 'Database Table from SQL'
    And I have this 'Statement' - SELECT * FROM SYS.DBA_USERS
    When I Click the 'Preview' button I get this error.
    Error rendering element. Exception: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
    I'm logged on as SYSTEM.
    Isn't the SYS.DBA_USERS table accessible by SYSTEM?
    Any advice on what I'm doing wrong/

    What are the tricks?
    It has to be some what supported since I found this somewhere in an Oracle note...
    How to create custom reports on tables other than mgmt* views.
    To create reports on other tables, grant permissions to MGMT_VIEW user as MGMT_VIEW is responsible for creating reports in grid control
    SQL> GRANT SELECT on SYSMAN.<table_name> to MGMT_VIEW;
    And then create the reports in the reporting framework referencing SYSMAN.<table_name> in the query.
    I tried GRANT SELECT on SYS.DBA_USERS to MGNT_VIEW but this did not work.

    I have a User defined Type that is a collection of one character VARCHAR2 values. In the Table Data grid it does not display the character values. I know on all our other Oracle development applications these values display. Is this a bug or is there a snippet to display these values?

  • [3.0.04] Delete user defined report folder

    Hello Forum,
    a few days ago, I got a new computer and exported my user defined reports from the old installation. After importing these into the new installation, all reports were put into an additional subfolder. Since I'm using german localization, the reports were put into "Benutzerdefinierte Berichte/Benutzerdefinierte Berichte". I could move them one folder up by cut and paste, but now I would like to delete the empty subfolder, but I don't have any menu options to do so.
    Is there any way to get rid of that subfolder?
    Many thanks in advance,
    dhalek

    Hi Binom,
    Correct. In fact similar behavior reported in earlier posts such as...
    Bug 2.1: Report folders are read only
    1.5.5 Cannot add user defined report to folder
    ...resulted in the logging of an internal bug:
    Bug 9231534 - FORUM:USER DEFINED REPORT FOLDER MISSING ACTIONS IN NON ENGLISH LOCALES
    I updated it with a reference to this forum thread in order to give it a bump.

  • CS5.1: How do I create a new "User Defined" swatch palette.

    CS5.1: Under "Swatch Libraries" window, "User Defined" is grayed out, so I can't access my personal swatch palette. I have the data to recreate it, but do not find a "new palette" selection.

    Thank you Monika. Your response led me to what appears to be success. I opened an existing file that had my swatch palette embedded in it, then selected "Save Swatch Library as AI", giving it the name of my swatch palette. That palette now appears under "User Defined".

  • Photoshop CS5 quits when asked to print an "user defined page"

    I own an iMac desktop and after updating to Yosemite, when trying to print with PS CS5 and image with "user defined" sizes,in my HP Officejet 6000, PS freezes and quits abruptly.  Erstwhile I used to do this w/o any problem.   Any ideas?  Thank you!

    Hi RaphaelJB,
    With such a specific symptom it's implied that you can print with other apps and with PS CS5 using regular size paper.
    The main points from this article I'd suggest are see if there are printer driver updates and try resetting the printing system.
